Nukes deployed and detonated at street level will cuse little physical dammage but still have a strong radiological effect. The the buildings of the city will absorb most of the heat and shock and only allow gamma radiation to perfusse from the area of detonation. Now an arial nuke detonated 2-3 km above the city would be Catastropic. This would allow massive defussion of heat, shock, and radiation plus the atmospheric dispersion of radiation. Any attack would be considered catastrophic in my book, but destruction of an entire major metro city from a suit case nuke is not possible. Any casualtiy from terror is unexceptable!!!

We are heading toward a nuclear war in the middle east. Iran and Syria have begun taking over Lebanon,Hamas( Palestine) and they are creating the turmoil in Iraq. They are not stupid enough to try on the battlefield. They have lost everytime. It will be in a suitcase or truck . But it is coming. The swords of war are being rattled. We can't wait for them to only strengthen. We must act now and decisively.

I can say this because half my family is Jewish. The Israeli government does not represent the best interests of world Jewry. Why? Because, with all that brain power, it cannot see its own role in creating enemies. How can one justify bulldozing homes of Palestinians? The originators of Israel freely admitted they committed terrorist atrocities against Palestinians to force them to flee their land so Israel could take it. If Israel would devote the money it's spent on just ONE nuclear bomb to help the impoverished Palestinians, who live in a ghetto compared to Israel--just think, if Israel were to set up, say, one protected area for Palestinian children, pay for top schools, build some housing instead of bulldozing homes, ensure adequate medical care--in other words, make a true effort to be a good neighbor--can you imagine the potential effect? Such a relatively small effort, even on the most taken scale, could create a sea change in world opinion. Many other countries would be willing to follow suit in an international rebuilding effort. Of course, it would be necessary to fortify such a model experiment against Muslim fanatics who would want to destroy any attempts at reconciliation with Israel. But imagine what could be done. Most families including the Palestinians just want peace and security, good education and a future for their children. It would cost so little to begin this process. But even such a tiny effort would take the wind out of the sails of Muslim fundamentalists. Such a neighborly solution seems obvious to me, but given the horrendous history by now on both sides, it would be tough to implement. But we cannot let the blind Israeli misleaders lead the Jews into a trap. There is no way they can survive against a hostile Arab world.
