61. Learn you history
Zoylo ,   Los Angeles, CA   (12.20.06)
There has only been one country that has used nuclear weapons against another, and could use them again. This country should be sanctioned for builing such weapons for the only purpose of genocide, nothing else.
62. Ahamdinejad
Joe ,   Anytown   (12.20.06)
Running with scissors.
63. Bob
Jellybean ,   Chicago   (12.20.06)
If you feel that a leader that has called for a race to be wiped off the map and that the US will fall like the Soviet Union and threatens are way of life had done nothing wrong, then I feel for you, you have alot to learn.
64. Canadian - Tom
Joe ,   Tampa, USA   (12.20.06)
Your shallow knowledge of current events and history is evident. Your buddy Ahmadinejad has spoken many times about his desire to destroy Isreal and his current stated quest is to cleanse the world (with fire) to allow for the arrival of the 12th mahdi where the world will have peace under islamic rule. Note the word ISLAMIC RULE. Go back to sleep, when they come to offer you the opportunity to convert or have your head cut off, it will be too late.
65. provocative leaders
Timbo ,   Jacksonville, FL, US   (12.20.06)
How much more provocative can he be without actually doing anything? He requires someone to preemptively attack his country and soon, to rally the nation behind him. Otherwise the majority will write him off as a dangerous crank and kick him out, just like they did his supporters. Unfortunately, George Bush also could use an external attack to rally the Americans behind him....
66. Re: What should be done?
MRJSS ,   Cincinnati, OH   (12.20.06)
"There never was a claim to wipe Isreal off the map." Finally, someone is telling the truth. I am a conservative republican who is no fan of Ahmadinejad, but this constant barrage of media lies about him saying "wipe Isreal off the map" is simply not true. There is a clear difference in saying "wipe out the regime" . Stop with the lies already.
67. More Tension
Paul ,   Bristol, US   (12.20.06)
I do not think he will rest until Iran is the major power in the mid-east. Many millions will suffer needlessly.
68. Re:#15
Kyle Seestrouble ,   U.S.A.   (12.20.06)
Don't be too ready to jump for joy. The new Congress is coming in January. Do you think the incoming spineless wonders will authorize a pre emptive attack?
69. Poor Bob, Ohio
Mike ,   Indy, USA   (12.20.06)
Surrender the right of destruction to a madman, BRILLIANT! Crack open a history book, or be doomed to relive the fascist peace plan -this time strictly with an Islamic flavor.
70. I agree with Joe
sara ,   Clinton Twp, MI   (12.20.06)
Joe you are so right, we could end the war in Iraq, it would of been done already if CNN and MSNBC were not over there with video camera's and investigators, whom which our investigating our own troops portraying them to be the bad guys, it is amazing to me how dumb the American public can be!!
71. Reply to Hero Awarded Magic Sword
Dirty Bubble ,   Bakini Bottom   (12.20.06)
You my friend live in a fantasy world. Turn off your western Playstation and learn the truth about your bankrupt religion. Salem
72. Reality check
(12.20.06)
I meant, thanks to Tom in Canada, for responding to the fear that Bush has whipped up. Does anybody believe what he said about Iraq? At the Nuremburg trials, I believe it was Goering who was asked how the Nazis whipped up the population to fight. He said, most people do NOT want to fight, but it's easy to get them to--all you have to do is convince them they've been attacked.
73. Tom
Don ,   Vancouver   (12.20.06)
Tom, you are a typical Can nut case. If you would just read a llittle history you would realize that people with your narrow liberal mindset allows people like this little rat in Iran to exist. Where are all you liberal wimps when we need to rescue the world of these trouble makers.
74. They don't have the money to support it
Djab ,   Denver, USA   (12.20.06)
Iran does not have the money or the stability in the Government to support nuclear power. The cost is immense, and it will bankrupt them. There is also a uprising starting in Iran proven by the multiple car bombs going off in Iran, near the capital. Maybe one day the USA and Iran will be friends again. But not until they show dramatic a change in stability, maturity, and ethical behavior in thier governement. Primarily a change in Ahmadinejad. Only the people of Iran can make that change now.
75. You'll shoot your eye out.
Ben ,   Provo, USA   (12.20.06)
THAT IS THE FUNNIEST THING I HAVE EVER READ!
76. You'll shoot your eye out
Big Ben ,   Dallas, USA   (12.20.06)
ahahahahahhaha! good one.
77. US TV Show JERICHO
Joe ,   Chicago   (12.20.06)
What if they actually took out 20 American cities using suitcases and shipping container nukes? Would the liberals in America send the ememy more free food and candy handed out by our ARMY sons that they kill everynight over there?
78. Iran nuclear capability
James ,   Mt. Sterling, KY   (12.20.06)
To have nuclear warheads in the hands of unrealistic radicals such as are in Iran should be sobering to the whole world.
79. Israel's Delema
Fred ,   USA   (12.20.06)
A pre-emtive strike by Israel will bring world condimnation upon them. Waiting to take the first blow would be un-thinkable. So it's self preservation and to hell with world opinion . Israel will stand alone.
80. Ahmadineajd may be lying due to his lack of popularity.
Adam Brown ,   Long Beach, CA USA   (12.20.06)
Ahmadineajd may be overstating Iran's nuclear capabilities in order to pull more supporters (in Iran). The vast majority of university student are against his conservative attitude. By showing, as a leader, he can bring Iran closer to modern civilization, those students against him will have to re-think their position of revolt.
81. If you believe...
Jerry ,   Lubbock, Texas...USA   (12.20.06)
That all Iran wants nukes for is power plants then you probably believe in the Easter Bunny, The Tooth Fairy and that Elvis is a space alien living in Utah.
82. Guess what Mahmoud
BillyBob ,   Texas   (12.20.06)
Guess how many U.S. nuclear missile submarines are stationed off your coast right now!!!
83. to 57 you are 100% right. thats the only way.
megi ,   london   (12.20.06)
84. I Smell A Rat
Not A Lawyer ,   From DC   (12.20.06)
A Detestable Character, yet fascinating in a Lab Rat sort of way!
85. Israel will prevent IRAN from becoming a threat
Todd ,   Dallas Texas   (12.20.06)
Just like it did with Iraq some years back bombing their nuclear facilities into the 12th century. When will Ahmedinejad realize that he is throwing away his country's future by pressing this nuclear issue? He needs to be worrying about poverty and folks living in mud huts with dirt floors. He will make the same mistakes USSR made back during the Cold War.... having not learned that lesson from history. We all know how that ended last time.
86. Did nothing wrong
Ben ,   Provo, USA   (12.20.06)
You've got to be kidding me. Here is what they did that was wrong. 1. They threatened to "Wipe Israel off the map" 2. Armed Hezbollah in the recent skirmish with Israel 3. They have armed the Iraqi insurgents in an effort to fight against the U.S. 4. Now they have nuke power... Do you see a pattern here? Even an elementary kid can see this pattern
87. Kyle
Jellybean ,   Chicago   (12.20.06)
You may be right..the sad thing is that the Dummycrats will let millions die and then they will say they that should have prevented it.
88. end xenophobia (set the Bong down please!)
Doug ,   USA   (12.20.06)
Sorry A) Bush was elected. B) Iran will use a nuke ASAP. C) The US used the nuke to end a war that we did not start and to prevent Russia from invading Japan before we could. D) Please move to Iran and then we will talk again about all this in 6 months OK?
89. Year 2007: The Year of Nuclear War or Wars
Darren ,   Tampa, FL USA   (12.20.06)
90. Arabs
Kate ,   Omaha, USA   (12.20.06)
I really doubt that Iran's Arab neighbors are going to be too thrilled with the idea of the Persians having nuclear warheads. The Arabs hate the Iranians (Persians) for two reasons: They are not Arab and they are Shia Muslims instead of Sunni. I imagine that the Saudis are having conniptions all over the place this very moment. On the other hand, Ahmadinijad could just be blustering to puff himself up and make himself look important. Don't forget: Most of Iran voted against him and his policies over the weekend in off year elections.
