This is paid by the airport authority , they have revenues do you know ? Israeli Muslims who fly from BG are also paying airport taxes . When they buy in the duty free shops , they also pay to the airport authority . In any case , it's not with your money .

If you want mehadrim food at BG , fine for me . You have only to open such a place . With all the charidi people coming there you certainly will make a lot of money .

Lady Flyer ,   LY   (12.21.06)
where's the synagaogue in our airport, come to think of it? BTW- BA/ London/TA flights are bad news this weekend. LY Heathrow got away ages before them this morning, even though delayed(bad fog in London) I really hope loads of idiots cancelled their EL AL tickets, and booked British. All our Shomer Shabbat family, have till now, and will continue to fly ONLY EL AL B'E'Hashem. They are amazing how they ALWAYS try so hard to get everyone home here for Shabbat . Bless them always. I remember them racing everyone throught ticket control and customs clearance when NY flights came in close to Shabbat. Wonderful, and OURS. Oops, methinks this was s'pposed to be about a mosque? Whatever, its our country, and our airport and our airline. Thats what counts.

May our prayers for our wondeful country be answered , l'tovah omayn...Why don't 'YOU' do something, why alway 'THEY' ?Open a mehadrin catering there for goodness sake and stop moaning.

Now the jewish majority can constantly harass them, as they do with the jews in the Hamachpela, and plant a synogogue just in the middle of their "prayer" area.

The National Front for Change conference on Dec.4,2006 discussed how to be free from the Camp David. Umm Rashrash Egyptian territory still under Israeli occupation The conference discussed a number of working papers and research, including the need to restore Egypt's sovereignty over Umm Rishrash, occupied by Israel since 1948 and has an area of 1500 km 2 has been under Israeli occupation and that the issue of international arbitration, which restored to Egypt, the Taba substance of Israel until the silence on the Umm Rashrash. http://www.elosboa.com/elosboa/issues/506/akhbar7.asp

43. Building a mosque at Arafat International Airport
Ramsi ,   Gaza   (12.21.06)
Israel had just as well build the mosque as Ben Gurion will be ours someday and renamed Arafat International Airport. We will allow Jews to fly out of the airport as they leave Palestine for good.

You're just another primitive.
45. Don't make any sence
Rami ,   Nazareth, Israel   (12.21.06)
If the Airport Authority really wants to build bridges with the arabic sector, they should first work on changing the humiliating treatment that Israeli-Arabs get when traveling via Ben-Gurion. I don't see any point in building a mosque just to apease religious muslims. Besides, when traveling who has time to go pray!!
46. Come on ! Just a room, they are not criminals :)

put the guns down :( just a room friends. whats wrong with you. dont even think to responce me :(((( Atilla Karagözoğlu :)
47. #45 humiliating treatment in airports
Kyle ,   Southpark, CO, USA   (12.21.06)
You mean like taking off your shoes, getting a wand shoved in your crotch, having TSA paw through all of your stuff...humiliating treatment like that? Here's a news flash: EVERYBODY is subjected to this treatment at airports--except for Muslims wearing burqas (most wanted terrorist got through Heathrow wearing a burqa).
48. I think it is a wise step, need some kind of reciprocity too
Simon Mohameed ,   VA, USA   (12.21.06)
Why not other Holy house is simply because the nature of muslim prayer. they do it 5 time a days and it time can be due while in an airport. This come in the organization the prayer without disturbing the environment and to not see people in every corner of the airport praying. I sincierly think it is a good wise step that will difinitely help......... my best regard
49. wake-up Israel
Tommy ,   belfast uk   (12.21.06)
In France there are 751 no-go areas where police do not go ---They are setout on this page along with maps http://i.ville.gouv.fr/divbib/doc/chercherZUS.htm These zones have been described on Daniel Pipes website as Dar al-Islam, the place where Muslims rule. France and the rest of Europe got themselves into this mess. Surely there is someone in Israel that realises that this is not about land but about conquest
50. O, "diversity", thy name is dhimmitude!

51. Actually this is good, but Israel must demand of Arabs too.
David ,   Boston, USA   (12.21.06)
Arab citizens MUST serve in IDF or civil service. Actually, make that ALL citizens. Dont let ultra Orthodox off the hook. Also, require all citizens or immigrants to oath of loyalty to Israel as a Jewish and Democratic nation. As Kennedy said in US, its about Service to the country as well as vice versa. Israel has the right to make demands of its citizens as well as the citizens have the right to make demands of the government. Israel should also make demands of its Arab neighbors. Enough pandering. more requirements needed!
52. Keep giving them what they deman and they will never leave!

You are just proving how you arabs are shameless liers. Arabs live EXTREMELY well here in Israel! That's why you don't want to get out of here! Go to live with your band! I went to Nazareth and I see you arabs there very well and not humiliated at all but having good and decent lives, what you would not get with your kinds in an arab country! Have dignity and get out of here, before you will be kicked out!

57. #45 Rami..
Lynne   (12.21.06)
I think you're right.. they should try not to humiliate Arabs and Muslims first.. but this is a good start.. Rami, we need to take the good parts and leave out the ugly ones in order to make peace.. I thank them for this on behalf of my Muslim brothers and sisters.. many people could pray.. ones working in the airport (if any Muslims do) and those waiting for their planes.. etc.. I'm not sure what your religion is.. but for Muslims prayer is very important.. when the call for prayer starts we usually leave what we're doing in order to pray..

a kinder gesture would have been for the arab muslims, all, to extend their hand in peac e to israel and the jews. then, you'd be seeing many more mosques built on israeli land not just in the airport. but i forgot, you don't recognize our right to existance, our right to have our own nation, our right to live in peace alongside your borders. you show me one example of a single synagogue and jew passing through arab airport terminals. yes, it is a start among many starts that israel offered you people and your compliment as to this action is genuine. but, i would like to really see the same thing happen on your lands and in your airports. and if it doesn't, at least have the decency, you people, to leave israel along and stop your wars against her.
59. Reuters photo
(12.21.06)
Why is it necessary for Ynet to constantly have photos of Haredim, as if somehow they represent Israelis, when nothing can be further from the truth? It doesn't do Israel a damn bit of good to be portrayed that way. Lose those photos already.
60. #53 DEAR CHARLES..........
SARA ,   TEL-AVIV ENGLAND   (12.21.06)
Dear Charles, Its because of your arab friends that we need to be at the airport 3 hours before flight. I pray that I will make it to the end of a flight because we are the ones who need to pray not them!
