It appears that despite the disastrous leadership in Israel ( except Lieberman) the Israeli people are resilient and will overcome the current malaise. However they have to vote into power people with vision . It is not possible to have leaders who will satisfy the demands of the Arabs ( disolve Israel), the demands of the Europeans ( give up all land and go back to the 67 or even worse to the 49 borders. The US roadmap would only work if they are accepted as final by the Arabs without further demands and peace agreements . This is not going to happen ! Therefore Israel has to do what is best for Israel first ! Everything else is then secondary . Try and secure your people and your borders , before anything else . You will never satisfy everybody else , however then you can deal from a position of strength and then ask the Arabs to find common ground. Currently it shows that your leaders are running scared and what it is even worse , you are sacrificing your people needlessly .
