Even many of the not so righteous today did have righteous Jewish ancestors and their merit lives on in their descendants. Be careful of Imams who advocate violence against the Jewish people, b'cos any muslim who makes such statements cannot be righteous and does not express muslim values. On the contrary he is expressing ancient xtian or pagan anti-semtism, possibly from his xtian or pagan ancestors before they converted (possibly without true conviction) to islam. Islam is about justice and peace, and should fight for this peacefully and strategically but not with violence. Especailly, in regards to the Jewish people. Xtianity is already being judged for its horrific anti-semitism and bigotry. If islam continues on this anti-semitic path, it will go down with xtianity. And that will be a tragedy for all the rightoeus muslims throughout history (including those good souls who saved the jews of sfarad from xtian anti-semitism). There is a peaceful path to resolving the middle-eastern conflict and defeating injustice in this region. We see so many talkbacks and hear from so many Muslims around the world that are in plain denial. Of course there are good muslims everywhere, BUT we see more bad ones all the time. Instead of tackling the issue head on, these people instantly make excuses for and defend the radicals among them. Others start pointing fingers at Jews and Christians, saying "hey, you;re not perfect either", but we are talking about radical, extremist Islam here. The only religion that encourages war, death, violence and Hate. The biggest problem with Islam is that the moderate voices are not heard when it comes to thiese issues. Maybe they're scared or intimidated. Maybe they feel like they would be betraying their own people. Either way, the violence in Islam has not stopped and will never stop unless the moderates will stand up and take back their religion. Until this happens, it will be very hard for any non-muslim to respect Islam...period!!!
