62. 1-- SOME WERE JEWISH
(01.30.07)
SOME ARE JEWISH that did this- THEY JUST CLAIM TO be satanists.and if Israel really is a democracy- they should be free to practice their religion if it downt hurt anyone else- THAT BEING SAID- they are kids. so what if they burned the jewish flag.

Give me a break! At least be true to yourself.
64. Anti semitic jews??
rami ,   Nazareth   (01.30.07)
So, the Jews who took part of this are anti-semitic?
65. to Robertk #23

Perhaps --depends on why you'd like to meet me...
66. if we keep letting non Jews in our grandchildren will suffer
the pogroms our ,   grandparents have su   (01.30.07)
The state of Israel is committing suicide each time it lets nonJews in. Face it: they get shelter from poverty, benefits and financial help every newcomer gets, but they are still liable to hate us. I don't know why that is, but I know we must not forget the very unequivocal consistent lesson of history: when ever we live among non Jews we are in danger of them turning against us. that's a fact, no matter why. So keep the Jewish majority here at least, and stop letting non Jews in!

Because what you wrote in that talkback is extremely eloquent, intelligent, and deep, and kind, and wise. Qualities that don't grow on trees. Because i actually live in Tel Aviv. Because people in your profession tend to be the best to talk to.

Proud Israeli ,   Israel   (01.30.07)
You live in New York and you understand Israeli society? I lived in New York for most of my life, and have never been happier than where I am now in this "loving and caring" society. You have alot to learn about Israel and the Israeli people on a whole. From where you are, you have no right to ask others to be true to theirselves.
70. #66 Why do diaspora Jews advocate the opposite in the West
Jonathan Black ,   Toronto   (01.30.07)
I agree that Jews should maintain a land of their own. But why do diaspora Jews constantly advocate diversity and multiculturalism in lands belonging to christian Gentiles and why is it "hate" when Gentiles want a land of their own without the hords who come and take our subsidies than decide they hate us. I say it's Zionist hypocrisy and this is what will cause trouble for the Jews.

We owe not to Herzl . we do though owe hashem . You are right , we owe him 6 million murdered Jews
73. answer to #70
from #66   (01.30.07)
if you haven't noticed it isn't only diaspora Jews who are blinded by multiculturalism, but Israeli ones as well, or else we wouldn't be having this exchange, for this story would not have occurred. They can't explain to themselves why it is moral to turn down non Jews to the only place under the sun we have after 2000 years of proven rule if we are not the majority anywhere we are hunted, and you call them hypocrites for not seeing the morality of your argument regarding other western states under the threat (I assume that's what you mean) of radical Islam. Excuse me? I don't think I like you. And another thing: I don't see any comparison, you can call me a hypocrite all day long, but it still won't be similar to the problem you're reffering to. Canada for example faces radical Islam threats that might make it turn down Muslim refugees, but there are serious arguments either way, such as: is a Budahist newcommer a threat too? what about Darfur refugees who are Muslims? and what about sain Muslims who flee HizbAllah in Lebanon for example? I don't know, and frankly it is non of my buisness, you have every right to decide on your own either way. If you ain't refering to the Islamic threat but want a Christian state, that's your buisness too, but I won't pretend you can compare it to Israel's necessity to remain of Jewish majority. We've tried living among others for 2000 years and it has been proven with our blood that we absolutly can't afford trying that ever again. You've never been hunted down by Budahists or Jews for that matter, and our 20000 cubic km under the sun being Jewish is not like say Europe, Australia and America deciding one day they all want to be sollely Christian. Am I hypocrite? no. Just factual, and don't like you much.

Who says that this person received an Alya packet ? And have you to be a leftist to return to the country you were born ? Come to live here , you will see that if you make Alya on your own , you will receive only the plane ticket , to repay if you leave the country , definitively , before three years have gone .

first: Israel is NOT a democracy and no county by definitioncant be100% democratic, USA included second: Satanism is NOT a religion, is a CULT at best. And it hurts others as u can see third: Adolescents are kids only under civil law, but are adults under Jewish law. Needless to say burning mezuzot and a flag involve pretty much thought to dismiss anythig like this as a " kiddy thing" I dont know who u r and where u live, in any event u dont look jewish and stay anywhere far from israel
78. Joshua,#50, you have proven my point
Phil ,   US   (01.31.07)
I take it back Joshua. You are not someone who knows little about what you are talking about. You are an idiot. Your original quote went something like this: rebellious teens...get over it. Then, in #50, you write an incomprehensible bunch of nonsense. You don't have to be a member of Mensa to know what you are about.

charles ,   petach tikva   (01.31.07)
Sorry to contradict you , but Israel is a democracy . Were it not , you wouldn't have opposition parties , you wouldn't have anti Israeli press issued in Jerusalem , and so on . Here we are also talking about civil , not religious law , and because not all were Jewish , this religious law does not apply to them .

gabriela ben ari   (02.01.07)
Correct, Israel is a democracy But not in every aspect, and that is the way it should be. I was answering to # 62, where she says that a democracy per se should tolerate satan's cult -q("their religion") got it?
