I can return your writing to you : It seems to me that the ORTHODOX are imposing their beliefs on others . OK ?

There is no Orthodox imposition in this case at all. Charles' argument is without support. Does the orthodox community attempt to impose their beliefs on others in Israel? Yes they do at times. However, and this is truly my point, these goings on are a knee jerk response to what some view as the orthodox influence and is more about being ANTI ORTHODOX than being about freedom of worship. Also, for what it's worth I am not Orthodox, I just feel it is important to be intellectually honest.

No ? and what are the Lubavitscher doing ? They don't try to impose their views ? And all the Orthodox ? do they accept others ? don't they reject them ? Is the Kotel their property ? They can refuse mixed prayers in their synaguoges , but the Kotel is for all the Jews .

Please name and site ONE example of a Jew being told they CANNOT pray at the Western Wall? Not being told that they cannot pray in a mixed environment, being told they cannot pray. Please site one example from the Reform Movement, Conservative Movement or any movement that dictates that services MUST be held in a mixed sex setting ONLY. You will not be able to. Again, you are twisting the facts.

Try to pray with a mixt group at the western wall , not the Robinson arch , and you will see . Women have to pray to the right side , a small part , the men on the left side . This when looking at the wall .
