Go ahead if you can manage to pull Unifil Forces From Lebanon, i will personally be more than glad, although they are spending allot of money in my country and particulalry the south. As for the the International aid, 90% of it is dept on us, and i also dont want it, i prefer free money without interest comming from Iran, Saudi, Qatar, UAE, Kuwait..... Thank god, we have allot of rich Muslim country, keep the international aid to "Israel". How Much does Israel get YEARLY only from the United states?
62. What does Virginia killer has to do with Palestinian thugs?
Merrill ,   New York, NY   (04.25.07)
Yes, in a country of 300 million people once in a while that would be some crazy person who saw too many violent flicks, has serious personal issues and is willing to kill people just for the sake of spreading the pain around. What does the killer has to do with Palestinian terrorists who are brainwashed since they are born and willing to kill Jews because that would get them 72 virgins, plus or minus epsilon. Look at other parts of the world - Protestants and Catholics in Northern Ireland hated each other as much as, if not more than, Arabs and Jews in the Middle East, yet they are CIVILIZED, EDUCATED people who in the end came to agreement to co-exist in peace because THEY CARE ABOUT HUMAN LIFE and WANT BRIGHT FUTURE FOR THEMSELVES AND THEIR FAMILIES. Palestinians, on the other hand, obviously don't want that. Did Arafat agree to a generous peace deal offered by Barak? No, not even close. When Palistinians were given Gaza, did the local democratically elected government focus on improving people's life there or did they focus on attacking Israel with however weapons their Iranian and Syrian friend would send them? (I recently spoke with Iranian mullah who was visiting his family in the US, and he told me Iranians don't care about Palestinians - they use them as puppets, and support them to look good in the eyes of the rest of Middle East. All Iran wants is for Middle East to become Shia and rule over the region. They don't even hate Israel as much as they say - they simply act on a principle - if hating Israel will score for us some points amongst brainwashed masses in the Middle East, great, let's hate Israel. By the way, nice guy that young mullah was..) What Palestinians fail to understand is that Israel will forever stay in the Middle East, FOREVER. Israelis will not back down and will not go away. Yes, we lived in Israel for thousands of years, we wondered around the world while continuously maintaining a significant community there, but now we came home and we are not going anywhere. We will never leave home again!!

i didnt want to waste my time on replying to you, but what the hell.... Man/woman, fatah and Hamas were shooting at each other as you mentioned, but what happens in America's schools and universities is one person shooting at UNARMED people!! Get the difference?

You're right, the Qassams didn't halt completely, however, if you remember accurately very recently Abbas has declared that an agreement has been reached with those factions to stop their Qassams. Almost as soon as this agreement was reached, you guys started your military offensive. Even your PM himself admitted that the Qassams rates are lower than ever. For some reason, you just couldn't stand to see that you're not a victim anymore. You ruined a lot of hard work, efforts, and pressure exerted by Abbas to reach this agreement. Now it starts again...and the killing will once again begin, and the blame game will also begin as innocent and guilty people die equally.

"but now we came home and we are not going anywhere. We will never leave home again!! " And the crowd ROARS!!! Please spare us your high-moral ground bull, and your mighty slogans. Firstly, there's no such thing as forever. Judgement day will come and we will all see then who was right and who was on the wrong track. Secondly, Palestinians will not accept charity of lands you stole from them. It's like you steal a million dollars from my bank account, and you give me back 80 or 90% of it. I'm sorry but that won't do. Thirdly, if it weren't for the US supporting the existence of Israel, where would Israel be now?!?! weapons, money, loads of money, loads of weapons, blind political support in the international world and the UN, and the brainwashing of the American people to hate Palestinians and love thy Jew. I tell you this, as much as you might dislike or hate Pals, as much as they dislike or hate you back. If you want them dead, they want you dead, if you want them cleansed, they want you cleansed, and if you want them to simply go away...they want you to simply go away.

An advice, try to look at the over all picture. What is the overall rate of rape and murder in New York City alone?

71. #51 How do you help someone who won't help themself?
#14 alternative view ,   USA   (04.25.07)
To #51: I look at it from the viewpoint of someone who is a moocher. If you don't put your foot down, tell them to get a job so they can be independent, then they will continue to mooch off of you until you can't stand it any longer and kick their ass out of your house. This is NOT an act of barbarism or vengeance. This is merely tough love that teaches the independence that is worth striving for. Let the Gazan Arabs then pressure their own representatives to demand that they provide for them the independence from Israel to which they are entitled.

Abbas claiming that an agreement is "about to be reached" is of the same value as Kim Jong Il saying he is "about to allow" UN weapons inspections. It's not that Abbas is an evil man, it's that due to the still very volatile tensions between Hamas and Fatah, and Ismail Haniyeh's power by numbers, negotiations are bound to be worthless. And this is not to mention that every "agreement" or "contract" or anything else instilled by PA governing men to members of Hamas, Al Aqsa Martyr Brigade, and Islamic Jihad, has never, ever, been upheld, because those organizations' sole goal is to kill Israelis, and they don't desire any sort of truce. Arafat would always talk about how much he loved peace and how Fatah was going to create peace if Israel was willing, but Fatah and their wings were responsible for many unprovoked attacks against Israel, and also this all doesn't stop the power of groups like Islamic Jihad. What power does Abbas have in stopping Qassam attacks? None.... And the Qassam attacks weren't some one week nuisance that led to a need for a negotiation. They were months and months of endless barrage of attacks, and couldn't be treated as something so light that the IDF could wait forever before operations (even though they were willing to wait quite a while).

97% is not 80% or 90%. When someone offers you 97% you don't say "I want 100%, screw you, negotiations over" if you really want to strike a deal. In the Middle East you say "ok, let's work it out" - just like Israel wanted security and Egypt wanted Sinai back - and in the end Egypt got Sinai back but no longer can position any army units there to satisfy Israeli needs. That's called COMPROMISE. Hamas, the democratically elected ruling party in Palestine wants to wipe Israel out. It would rather sneak Iranian aid in its ministers' underwear than to admit the Israel should exist publicly, and get generous multi-billion aid from US and Europe. Israelis said many times over - let's co-exist, let's live next to each other in two independent states. Did Palestinians ever publicly ever did anything to support the notion they feel the same way? (not say, do?) Israel extended you offer in peace by letting you self-rule in West Bank and leaving Gaza. You leave us alone, we leave you alone. You responded with suicide attacks and Quassams. The only thing that works with you is walls, checkpoints and special military incursions. How sick.. and sad at the same time. I understand that sending children to die is easier to self-rule and bring prosperity to your people though education and competitive global markets. But that's what everyone else in the world does, so get on with the program. If you want war, you will get one.. If you want peace, you will get one, too. Up to you.
