31. Homosexuality
Eli ,   Texas, USA   (06.10.07)
Homosexuality is a disease! There is nothing wrong admitting it, once and for all, and seeking treatment. The Torah is very clear about those who are afflicted by this horror; therefore, there is no place and no justification to be “proud” about sickness. Eli

mike ,   Jerusalem   (06.10.07)
We have not yet heard from the muslims! I need not say more you can leave the rest to your imagination. Like when Samson avenged himself on the Philistines! This is how far the perverts are willing to go to endanger the Jews of Jerusalem just to push their perverted agenda. They don't care if they endanger other lives, infect others with AIDS, enrage the muslims etc. What do they care!

ben ,   Gush Etzion   (06.10.07)
Why did we lose the war in Lebanon? Why were our soldiers kidnapped? Why is our Gvt. powerless to save Sderot? Because Israel is cursed by G-d for defiling the land with these disgusting perverts!

Are we becoming meshugga like the crazy goyim believing in curses & magic? These relics from the Middle-Ages are practicing superstition not religion.

izzy d   (06.11.07)
Why do the gayness consider these political beliefs worthy of hiding behind? why do they think that by by repeating them on a constant constant over and broken record over in every discussion and argument, that they are starting to sound no less fanatical then the orthodox?
41. Curses
R.Alkalai ,   USA   (06.11.07)
My own thoughts, for what this is worth, is that there are many who would benefit from what research has uncovered. In homosexuals, there are definite genetic markers- or footprints, in the brain's chemistry and hormones that develop while the child is still in the womb. There is even some evidence surfacing that certain DES drugs have also altered gender identification and preferences in unborn children. Based upon this evidence, one would have to conclude that this very well may be a situation not of choice, but rather of biology- brain chemistry. If this be so, then people who decide to place curses on, or mistreat those who are homosexual, are themselves, participating in an act of sin. In any event, shouldn't we all leave the matter of judgment and curses to G_D? In my many years of life, and in my many miles of travel, I have yet to meet another human being that I would consider to be of such perfection, that he /she should judge, let alone curse, another.
42. To 36 Totally Irrational
Jewish CANADIAN ,   Toronto   (06.11.07)
At least as far as the medieval ultra Orthodox are concerned. And Terry as far as my country is concerned ,the "crazy goyim" rarely,if ever, act with the level of barbarity and sheer hatred the haredi in Israel display constantly. Please keep your racist rants to yourself,

elchonon ,   jerusalem   (06.11.07)
Isnt it ironic that all my talk backs on ynet are always ignored by the anti settler anti religious camp? well here is your challange.... What if the gay march offends me ? what about religious sensitivity ? what if the charedim chose to march in tel aviv ? I hate to break it but jerusalem is a residental neighberhood, I have lived there for 4 years and disgustingly have a gay bar as my neighbers... and NONE of my neighbers want the gay bar there!!!! What if chareidim started moving to ramat aviv gimmel? what about ynet's article today where we say talkbacks claiming a "attack on democracy" because gaydmark decided against selling pig. Here is my message to you gay lovers, we the jewish, christian and muslim populatioin of jerusalem ALL do not want a gay parade desecrating our holy streets... In a democracay the people make the choices.. so stay out of our city you homo's!!!
48. Did't the gays just have a parade in Tel Aviv?how many do ..
jw ,   ny   (06.11.07)
...how many parades do the gays need? There parade in Jerusalem is just to give the religious people & the holy land the finger.

51. Shlomo (30), I don't understand.
sk ,   USA   (06.11.07)
Haredi parties have supported the transfer of Jewish land not merely to strangers but to Jew-hating Muslims. They also joyfully join such Muslims in their attacks on gay Jews. They have been used (and continue to be used to this day) to supply a Jewish gloss on the unjustifiable. They have joined any coalition in exchange for money, draft exemptions, and other special privileges. Their participation is especially deadly because some people take their balderdash seriously. My point was that Torah is used very selectively and dishonestly by these people. You, however, have not been perfectly programmed yet because you mentioned a part of Torah in the "wrong" context, i.e. a context that makes the Haredim look bad. Why no curse on the Haredim? How can Hashem let Haredi sin go unpunished? BTW, I know these guys doing the curse are on the kooky fringe, but the Haredi riots last time show that the difference between "center" and "fringe" is not so great. Until people like you start to wise up--and I do not expect this to happen until Haredi political power is destroyed--you will continue to facilitate Israeli weakness.
52. mike (33) is the pervert, and a wimp too.
sk ,   USA   (06.11.07)
Is Mikey worried about the big, bad Muslims being enraged? Maybe if he did IDF service and insisted that his fellow clown suited ones did as well, the Muslims wuslims wouldn't be so scary wary. Oh mike, your libels against gay people fully parallel those against Jews. As you are a dhimmi in regard to the Muslims, maybe you've absorbed some of their civilization.
53. Oh, and Andras ... (10)
sk ,   USA   (06.11.07)
If your thought processes represent the triumph of "Jewish values," I'll take democratic values instead. The filth of your mind and your manifest lack of education, is appalling. I'm beginning to think that Torah should be banned until everyone gets a good secular education.
54. When Islamo-Fascists and Judeo-Fascists agree...
David ,   Los Angeles   (06.11.07)
Interesting how the Orthodox Extreme Right SUDDENLY loves Muslims. When Islamo-Fascists and Judeo-Fascists agree on something, and suddenly try to claim "democracy" for themselves (after telling us how democracy is "un-Jewish" etc.) you can be 100% certain you wouldn't want to be on the same side.
55. Answering elchonon (47)
Benjamin ,   USA   (06.11.07)
Your comments remind me of a time when people around the world didn't like Jews, and actively worked together to eliminate them from their neighborhoods. Curses are no more then a tactic of fear, albeit preferable then violence. The narrowminded views of extremists, as history shows, requires this type of behavior. Fortunatly there are more tolerent and reasonable people in Israel, Jerulsalem, and the world. Badatz' curse has no effect on free thinking people. If they want convince anyone they have that ability, they should narrow their curses to something undeniable, such as "you will grow a claw for a hand". Otherwise step up to the plate and be G-d's little terrorists. B
56. Badatz curse against Gay Parage
leah amdur ,   Jerusalem Israel   (06.11.07)
They should include a curse against pedophiles and rapists as well. There are many pedophiles and rapists in Israel in all sectors of society including the Badatz
57. #53 Charles, it's secularism that got us on the wrong way.

58. Ridiculous - posturing
Josh   (06.11.07)
They already feel a curse on thier soul or they wouldn't have the need to strike at the darkness with a parade about pride. There is no pride, rather internal shame. As for the Rabbis. Possibly they should stop and feel their own status (feeling their souls), as they mislead Jews away from the truth of Torah - the pashoot - and towards reblious acts that offend G-d. - such as adding to Torah. Look at the families of the Rabbis and ask - do I see a curse or a blessing. Is everyone of sound mind and body? Choose life or choose death. Choose a blessing or choose a curse. Return Israel to G-d and his Torah.
59. celebrate

as we see the last decline of the state of Israel we hope to see our redemption coming soon don't be sad the best is yet to come.
60. No. 29 Reuven
NYC Girl   (06.11.07)
If these curses are as powerful as you claim, why weren't they used against the terrorists who were trying to turn Israel into a slaughterhouse with their suicide bombings? Apparently, these rabbis feel that invoking curses against gays and their supporters, who are harming no one, by the way, is more important. No wonder so many Israelis have no use for them.
