31. #13 Marya. EXCELLENT POST!
Miriam ,   Jerusalem   (06.22.07)
The truth hurts for these Leftists hypocrits. They will never admit it, though. The problem is that the Leftists media who are as corrupt as these immoral people, support each other. I think it's time for the world to wake up and stop all this abomination and immorality and start behaving like decent human beings.
32. where is Miriam?
Andrew ,   Tel Aviv   (06.22.07)
why hasn't Miriam posted a comment yet? perhaps she was participating in the gay parade herself, finally having a method of expression after years of religious abuse and respressed sexual trauma? The wives of the religous Jews are blind to the reality of what their 'husbands' have experienced in Yeshiva: years of hidden homosexuality. Miriam -- ask your husband about his sexual curiousity during his years in Yeshiva. If not, ask your religious male friends about their experiences of homosexuality in Yeshiva (oh, that's right, you probably don't have any male friends!)
33. when will be the next homophobic parade?
one-way democracy   (06.22.07)
34. Vomit all you want - THEY WON!
Talula ,   Israel   (06.22.07)
And the best of luck to them all. Jerusalem is the capital city for every Israeli. LIVE IT, LOVE IT, LEARN IT!
35. Down your throats
Citizen ,   Israel   (06.22.07)
The homosexual community has an agenda here and abroad. They get away with forcing their private orientation in the most public and antagonizing way possible both on television and in the street. Eventually, instead of acceptence, there will be a backlash. In the meantime there is an open witch hunt on anyone who dares voice any disagreement with this agenda or who voices any indication that their lifestyle may have a negative impact on society. I know several gays, both men and women, and most of them lead very sad, unfulfilled lives. All the parades in the world cannot turn something abnormal into normal. These parades are an anguished cry in the dark.
36. 7. That's right. Congratulations Satan and Sodom
Robert ,   London   (06.22.07)
37. Discriminating Against Haredim
(06.22.07)
Andrew Friedman, writing for Ynet last year, said he asked Jerusalem Open House head Noa Sattah why her organization had not routed the parade through the Muslim and Christian quarters of Jerualem. "We don’t want to offend them [the Arabs]," she explained, to which Friedman responded, “But many Jews are also offended by the march. Seems to me that means you are careful not to offend Arab residents, but feel it is your right to offend Jewish ones.” Friedman wrote that Sattah's "silence in response was deafening."
38. Pride goes before a fall!
Hardi J. Niclasen ,   Denmark   (06.22.07)
Can't help but thinking of the great feast of king Belshazzar, committing sacrilege by using the golden vessels taken from the temple in Jerusalem for his orgy. Apparently having the upper hand, another hand from another realm suddenly shocked the arrogant potentate by writing on the wall: "MENE, MENE, TEKEL...!" (Daniel, ch. 5)...(."Pride goes before a fall!")
39. #28 charles , petach tikva
Paqid 16 Netzarim ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (06.22.07)
#28 charles , petach tikva Hitler couldn't destroy Judaism so Eisau-Charles (or should I go back only to Amaleq) is intent on doing what Hitler couldn't -- and blame G*od for that too; all while claiming Israel belongs to him and the homosexuals and Christians -- especially those who are born Jews like himself -- and seculars. The citations are in the message, Eisau. No wonder your silly peers cheer you and you have no credibility except with others who are also trying to do what Hitler couldn't -- displace Judaism with Christianity, Sodomites and secularism. PS: the most popular Israeli Jewish newspaper not publishing candlelighting times on Yom Shishi in its on-line counterpart is a disgrace to Israel and Jewish readers. Even ha-Aretz publishes candlelighting times on Yom Shishi. Paqid Yirmeyahu Israeli Orthodox Jew Advancing Logic as Halakhic Authority Welcoming Jews & non-Jews www.netzarim.co.il
40. #35 Here here, Well said
(06.22.07)
41. Salomon of Brazil, SP
charles ,   petach tikva   (06.22.07)
You are the second retarded "person" from SP who sends tb's , The first one being this transexual calling herself keren .Your numbers are wrong , Gays contitute around 2 % of the population . Those are , in Israel of course , GOOD Israeli Jews , who serve their Country , serve in the IDF , pay taxes , do'nt live from state allocations . Their Parade , in Jerusalem , certainly more THEIR capital than of those anti Israelis from the Edah Haredith , who were the most violent protestors . They did not want to provoke anybody , avoided down town , were in a part of Jerusalem , who most of the buildings are offices of all sorts . This is true , you living so faraway , can't know it . But for those anti Israelis of the edah charedith , and their supporters , their presence alone is a provocation . You can be a good Jew , secular , and being a Good Israeli . Are those who do'nt serve the state good Israelis ? no , being religious is not enough .
42. Andrew TA , regarding Miriam
charles ,   petach tikva   (06.22.07)
Do you think that "religious" women would talk about such matters with husband or friends ? This Miriam prefers to lie , that's her speciality .
43. Talula , you are wrong
charles ,   petach tikva   (06.22.07)
when writing that "they won" They are amongst the winners . Democracy and law have won . Open minded people have won over the dark age people . 21 st century people have won , not retarded ones .
44. Lets check some "Orangadut" achievements since they declared
Daniel ,   Tel Aviv   (06.22.07)
the "Orange revolution" :) The promise for thousands of Orange refuseniks ended up with 6 loonies in military jail. Gush Katif is now Hafif... Their side lost the elections. Olmert, Barak and Livny are leading the country. Shimon Peres is our new President Just now the Gay People just laughed in their face... hehehe And better of all: the negotiations with the Palestinians are finally on the way! GLORY DAYS.
45. #32 Andrew. Simply put: This was a Parade of Baalei Taavot
Miriam ,   Jerusalem   (06.22.07)
I could understand that the evil inclination which every person has, has different effects on people. Some might steal, lie, hurt others, drive recklessly, talk on the cellphone during driving. All these are pleasures that people enjoy but yet no one legalizes it. Everyone knows it's wrong but some people cannot resist the temptation for doing it. The one caught with the offense, gets a fine, understands he's wrong, and perhaps next time he'll try to improve and overcome his temptations. But there's no paraders of speedy drivers, liars and thieves. But when it comes to this abomination which is illegal and immoral by all religions not only to Jews, something strange happens. They want to legalize it and demonstrate its acceptability just to prove that all the religions are wrong and only they are "the understanding" and "tolerant" people. And the biggest shame is that ISRAEL's "HIGH" COURT and government go along with this unlawful illegitimate behavior.
46. #42 Charles
Miriam ,   Jerusalem   (06.22.07)
I responded to your tbk yesterday, but apparently, YNet found it to have too much truth to what I said to you. They wouldn't want to hurt one of their kinds - like you - so much with the truth. In general, YNet doesn't post many comments of relgious Jews since it might, G-d forbid, lead to too many baalei tshuvot from their Left media. I will not rewrite what I wrote yesterday, but I just want to tell you that you gain nothing by condemning others falsely and calling others liars and other names. I wrote that the parade was supposed to have gone through Bar Ilan. If you'd read other medias, you'd have noticed it too. Here's the site: http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/Flash.aspx/128575
47. #18. Baruch: Every word, gold!
Miriam ,   Jerusalem   (06.22.07)
It's nice to see that there are some normal people in the world that weren't contaminated from the pollution caused by the Left media. If only YNet would post all comments from these normal people. They don't, because it would clearly show the minority supporting such immoral behavior.
48. why stop with gay pride? parade your problems!
e ,   Jerusalem   (06.22.07)
why stop with gay pride? Just pick a problem you have and decide to be proud of it! Let's have a procastinators parade, a nail-biters parade, a compulsive-disorder parade, etc,etc...
49. #30
Intedi Nensak ,   Skarpnäck, Sweden   (06.22.07)
Really. God got hurt. Let him fly down on a bloody cloud and say so then. I don't really give a sh** if religious people get hurt that not everybody is willing to live like in a dhimmi status where the one and only opinion that is legal is the religious one. Nobody is trying to stop you from wasting your lives on religion, that's called democracy. That also means you cannot force others to live by your religious rules. Learn to like it, it's not about to change. We have had pride parades for ages in my country and god "cursed" us with peace, prosperity and happiness for it. boo-hoo. i sure wish we were more like the holiest place on earth Jerusalem - poor, smelly, overcrowded and plagued by war and terror.
50. Police paraded apparently needed gay parade as excuse.
H.H.M ,   Jerusalem   (06.22.07)
3,500 members of the gay parade protected by over 7,000 policemen in Jerusalem against possible direct physical interference by ultra orthodox groups led by their rabbis. - The same protection could easily have been provided by 10% of the engaged police force, if police would / could as prevailing situation required without looking out over their shoulder considering Israeli internal political /religious issues. The same happened when police reacted when having been physically attacked by crowds of the Mia Sharim area here the police showed “restrain” = glace gloves during the nights before this demonstration. - Police should do its peace keeping law observing work unhindered by such political groups under the motto equality of all citizens before the law alike! - Additionally it would have saved a large part of the Jerusalem police budget which was wasted. Pre-gay parade vandalism by the ultra orthodox were handled under the same handicapped. - Waste of money and men power as well as of normal life of Jerusalem.
51. Marya # 13
charles ,   petach tikva   (06.22.07)
Not a very Jewish name Marya , a true Christian one . Not important Where is the compassion and understanding from the religious towards the seculars . Religious have to obey : ve'ahavta et re'echa Kamocha . Did they show this love towards their brethren ? You the charidim hate us since long years . You see Marya , i can return your questions to you . Now you are mixing things without relation . Do you know that there are Gays from left to right , seculars , reform and even religious or charidi ? The Gays we have seen , are showing to everyone what they are . Religious and Charidi gays have to hide their wway of life , they have to live a doubble life , even have a family , this for the world in wich they live , and a second , their true one . Regarding Peace now , machsom watch . In short , those are not my people , i would prefer not to see or hear them anymore .
52. Paqid , at least i'm a true and complete GOOD JEW
charles ,   petach tikva   (06.22.07)
Not as you are , a missionary of a sect that calls herself jews for j
53. Citizen, you`re right. Gays have sad lives
Nora ,   Tel Aviv   (06.22.07)
What is the aim of a gay? Surely not having children genetically binded to a gay couple. Surely not sons and daughters taking care of you when you are sick and old. . Surely not lovely grandchildren to play around you . Gays, sorry to awake you, but you don`t see further than your day to day distorted sexual pleasures. I wanted to say G-d help you in the future, but I am not sure. G-d dislikes abomination.
54. HASHEM HITAKEN DARKAM!.. thats all i gotta say
(06.22.07)
55. Miriam take my advice
AB ,   TheRock   (06.22.07)
Don't bother trying to educate these lost souls. They've gone so far beyond all red lines they're totally in the hands of the sitra achra. Just reading their posts one can feel the tumah coming through. Forget ynetnews too, it's a lost case. Resist the temptation. I know you long for a good world and hope to make it one but choose a different avenue. This one will get you nowhere. Chaval al haZman.
56. intolerance for intolerance is intolerance
izzy d   (06.22.07)
The gays won a victory? Do they think this was a game? a war? do they believe that if they had not marched, aside from having respected the wishes of 2 thirds of this cities residents, the tenets of the 3 major religions that reside here...do they actually believe that they would have lost? what has heir victory gained them? if spiting everybody is victory then being gay is really ....gay
57. Celebrating the waste of money.
Miriam ,   Jerusalem   (06.22.07)
ONLY 1,500 people participated in the parade for 1 HOUR. And they wanted to make a party at the end, but the police chased them away. 13 MILLION Shekel was WASTED for this unlawful thing.
58. The Head of Police, Ilan Franco, was the biggest loser
Chaim D. ,   Israel   (06.22.07)
and persona non-grata of this entire affair. Boy, was he mad when the leading Rabbis in Israel rejected him. At least he learned a lesson.
59. # 57 Miriam , again a lie
charles ,   petach tikva   (06.22.07)
Israeli radio and TV spoke about 4000 people , Ynet thousands , you 1500 . The cost ? you , the charidi's fault . Had'nt they oppose such a hatred , there would not have been a need for this number of policemen . So not only do the charidim not contribute anything to the State [ they even are against ] but the State has to spend money because of them .
60. #44 Daniel: great stuff, man.
