In the US there's something called "death by cop", meaning men who provoke the cops just to get shot and killed. It's a form of suicide in a spectacular way, with plenty of media coverage. Palestinian youth are so warped by now, after years of indoctrination, that it wouldn't be unlikely for one of them to do something suspicious just to get shot at and have the Jews blamed for it. It also happens in Iraq, where drivers deliberately drive past American checkpoints with women and children in their vehicles, so that when they get shot at, it results in more bad publicity for the Americans, more outrage among the Iraqi population, and subsequently more violence against the occupier. That's the Middle East.

Shooting palestinian terrorists is always the right thing to do. To not allow Palestinian civilians in Gaza to enter Israel is not. I´ve been wondering israelis are lashing out on the palestinians and solely blaming them for everything, because they are too scared to attack their true enemy, Iran? Iranians all over the world are boasting about the forthcoming destruction of Israel. They are laughing at us. Even the ones who had to escape Iran because of the current government, are now strongly supporting Iran´s nuclear program, and calling for destruction of "jewish pigs and colonialists". I´ve never met an iranian dissident, though they make up one of the largest immigrant groups in Finland. Where as some of the Palestinians are even defending Israel against Finnish leftists and communists (note, some are, not all) So, either the israelis are uncapable to recognize their true enemies, or they are too afraid to confront them.
