JNF lands are 18% of the national land. They were bought by Jews long before the establishment of Israel, and were meant for Jews to settle in. When Israel was established the JNF lands were given to it. In return, Israel promised that the lands will remain with their original purpose- for Jews to settle. This is not racism but merely official fulfillment of an old agreement. the other 82% can be inhabited by anyone. Moreover, there is nothing that prohibits arabs from living in the JNF lands, only from buying them.

When money was donated, the receipts stated that the land purchased would be for Jews in perpetuity. I did write asking for refunds of all money donated from my family, if any of the land were given to the Arabs. The amount from my great grandparents, grandparents, and parents, with interested amounted to millions of pounds. Many others did the same - and if Israel has to refund money for a written promise that was broken, they'd be bankrupt, because it would cost them tens of billions of pounds.
