1. Why Is This a Headline????
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (08.07.07)
These groups represent an infinitesmal percentage of Israelis yet their every pronouncement receives major media attention. How many members do they have? Who finances them - Israelis? I don't think so. So, again, why the headline?
2. "Since the beginning of the second intifida" explains enough
(08.07.07)
3. Illegal? International law?
Israel   (08.07.07)
These people are a bunch of stupid troublemaking assholes. What about the constant refusal by the Palestinians for the Red Cross to visit our kidnapped soldiers? That's not legal either. What about the explosives smuggled into ambulences? These organizations should be treated with the contempt they deserve.
4. WHAT'S IN A NAME???
al mann ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (08.07.07)
I guess that this human rights organization knows nothing about the past of its people and, therefore, seeks the approval of those who would wipe the Children of Israel off the map. The organization, a probable group of leftists, has rejected and denied our Biblical inheritance and all it entails. It has not learned anything from history and thinks that giving others rights will preserve ours. The truth is I don't know if the organization thinks about what being the Children of Israel means. They are probably totally uneducated in this regard. The rest of us must suffer their liberality and have to pay the penalty.
5. And what of the Israelis?
Ilan ,   Ariel   (08.07.07)
B'Tzelem calls to dismantle communities to improve Arab rights. So after they just wish away all those people life will be good. Someone should inform them that we are not their blood sacrifice.
6. I CANT STAND THESE SELF-HATING JEWS
Russel ,   Tlv   (08.07.07)
"Since the beginning of the second intifada, - INITIATED BY MURDEROUS PALESTINIANS HELL-BENT ON KILLING HUNDREDS OF JEWS - in September 2000, Israel has imposed restrictions on the movement of Palestinians in the West Bank that are unprecedented in scope and time," SO TOO THE CONCEPT OF SHAHID WAS INTRODUCED AND ROLLED OUT WORLDWIDE, LEADING TO THE DEATHS OF THOUSANDS OF INNOCENT PEOPLE - human rights organization B'Tselem said in a report published this week.
7. Has b'tselem rushed to Gaza
rebecca   (08.07.07)
to check on the rights of two dead children or the Christains
8. Ynet loves to post trash like this
Barron ,   Israel   (08.07.07)
Self-defeating hacks do what idiots do - keep repeating themselves hoping to get different results. Ynet keeps posting similar reports by so-called rights groups. Yoo-hoo, Ynet - anyone home? We're tired of this anti-Israel rubbish. The Palithugs voted for Hamas; they support violence against Israelis; they want us all dead. But you never get it, do you? Give 'em a few more million dollars. Give 'em a state. But I and my fellow Israelis value our lives first and not the death cult that consumes the Palithugs.
9. B'tselem
NYC Girl   (08.07.07)
This is the biggest bunch of viscerally self-loathing hypocrites, who consistently make excuses for Palestinian savagery by downplaying years of murderous attacks against innocent Israelis...including Muslim and Christian victims as well.
10. #2 - Exactly! Doesn't anyone notice irony in this sentence??
Hamburger ,   Hamburg   (08.07.07)
11. Stop this printing of anti Israel propaganda YNet!!
freejay ,   Israel   (08.07.07)
12. B'Tselem misrepresents international law
student ,   Israel   (08.07.07)
The Fourth Geneva Convention (that on the treatment of civilian persons - the reference for human rights law) says nothing about a guaranteed automatic right of freedom of movement. Neither does the First Protocol, which is more stringent regarding the protection of civilians. 'Protected persons' may ask to leave the territory (aka leave the West Bank), which should be granted to them 'unless it is contrary to national interests of the State' (aka security purposes). It states that citizens cannot be illegally interned - a totally different thing and one that is not happening in this case. This is because the writers of the Geneva Conventions recognized that, during a state of conflict, such unlimited movement is unsafe for at least one side. The Geneva Convention, which is flung around indiscriminately in order to point fingers at Israel, actually refers to, in several clauses, the fact that military necessity should be considered IN ADDITION to civilian concerns and recognizes military necessity as a totally legitimate consideration, that must be weighed into the equation of treatment of civilians. B'Tselem, by focusing ONLY on civilian claims and not on military necessity, ignores at least as many sub-clauses in international law than it accuses Israel of doing. This is most likely because they are not actually interested in adhering to international law, but rather in promoting their political agenda at all costs, even if spin and disingenuous statements are required.
13. Yawn.
LEE ,   NY, USA   (08.07.07)
14. Oh B'Tselem - GFY!!!
Mark ,   Philadelphia   (08.07.07)
This organization should be banned for treason.
15. These self-hating Jews
CSB ,   USA   (08.07.07)
Bravo, Barron. If these Jews have more empathy with those that intend to kill them, they should move to their areas under the Palis. leaders. How do they think, they will be treated? This is unadulterated bull. Barron has expressed my sentiments precisely. At least, Ynet is on the record, if said historical record makes it over time.
16. Send Btselem to Sderot, or expel them... they're traitors!
Nannette ,   London   (08.07.07)

23. B'tslem--
ELY GREENHUT ,   Tzfat Israel   (08.07.07)
The word Tselem of the B'tselem is a Yiddish word that means A CROSS as a cross in A CHURCH. How tis group calls itself explains who they really are. Anti Jewish
24. Who Funds these Groups??
ralphsrant1 ,   USA   (08.07.07)
Who Funds these Groups??
25. You know the teacher from Charlie Brown....
Mush DeLeon ,   Austin, Texas   (08.07.07)
mhwa mhwa, mhwa mhwa mhwa mhwa..........that's what this sound slike to me. WHAT A BUNCH OF BULLSH*T!
26. B'Tselem funders - New Israel Fund and European governments
Simon Doerksen ,   Winnipeg, Canada   (08.07.07)
B'tselem is funded by the new Israel fund and european governments. That should hardly come as any surprise. The Europeans have the benefit of geography and face none of the threats Israel's civilians do. They seem to be keen on sacrificing Israel to appease fanatics. As for the New Israel fund - they are socialists. They might not call themselves that, but take one look at their website and you know what they are getting at. Google "B'Tselem funders". You'll find it.
27. ANTI BETSEL EM MOVEMENT
ROLAND SEENER ,   LONDON ENGLAND   (08.07.07)
IT IS BETTER TO ERR ON THE SIDE OF CAUTION,THAN OVER -LOOK A POSSIBLE UNFORTUNATE INCIDENT.THIS BASIC FACT SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BE CONTINUALLY BE POINTED OUT,AND FOR THIS, I SUPPORT THE SLOW BUREAUCRATIC APPROACH
28. Btzelem and Peace Now
Bernie ,   Seattle   (08.07.07)
Btzelem and Peace now why don't you do Israel and favor and come here to the USA to live. You can solve the problems of teh Mexicans, Cubans and the arabs here in the USA. Leave Israel alone stop being such a bunch of whiney bitches. If you love teh Arabs so much maybe the USA is not for you maybe you need ot go live in Afghanistan or Iran or Darfur or Syria
29. I Agree With Terry
Dave Levy ,   Burbank. CAUSA   (08.07.07)
This was the first thought that came to my mind, why give them news space? Then again, it reminds me of our Cindy Sheehan. Perhaps someday they will just go away? In the interim, 2 sentences on the back pages of Israeli newspapers would have sufficed. They thrive on publicity. They don't understand they don't make public policy, which is what they really desire.
30. Israel should defund these NGO to evidence European money
Ignacio ,   Zaragozas, Spain   (08.07.07)
These NGO are funded by european government advocating Israel destruction. It is therefore bizarre for Israel to fund these NGO and forbid funding of Al Qaeda, for instance.
