Yeah they went nuclear a while ago. And they have proven to be very trustworthy to have them since they are attacked CONSTANTLY. But in 30 years israel has not used a nuke. That means its ok that they have them. Like india, etc. as long as you dont use it, its ok to have it. IRAN WILL USE IT. Also, Iran having nukes destroys the balance of power in the world and gives more strategic resources to the communists. Therefore, cant happen. Bombs Away!

In looking through the replies to this story, I'm struck by the large number that show a strong anti-israel or a strong anti-syria stance. As an American, I can only hope that our leaders will eventually sicken of supporting this long, drawn out war between israel and the arab countries. We need to back out of the middle east, develop oil resources elsewhere, and focus on developing alternative to an oil-based economy and leave them to their stupidity.

Where are the satellite photos of these alleged nuclear sites in Syria? Why can;'t we know where these sites are so we can confirm the presence of nuclear sites using Google Earth? Also, these alleged nuclear sites struck by the IDF should have left a cloud of radioactive materials wafting around the ME. Are there any countries in the region detecting spikes in their radiation monitors?

I have no doubt that North Korea, has been not suppying Iran, and for a long time. No doubt that Russia and China are there also. It would not surprise me to find that Russia has sold fully functioning nuclear weapons. Iran has all but come out and say it. To make the statements they do, you more than likely a to back it up, and having nuclear weapons, I do not doubt it. If I were Israel, I would of done some recon myself, given Iran has openly said that it wants to destroy Israel. Syria and its allies are going to say what they want and get away with what they can. Syria is a sovereign nation in exactly the same way that Israel is. Israel has nuclear weapons, lots of them. Were I their neighbor, I would fear their intentions and would be a student of their history. I would want them too and would get them from wherever I could.
