1. Now they wake up for Sderot !
charles ,   petach tikva   (09.20.07)
You needed this Israeli cabinet decision to wake up regarding Sderot ? why did'nt you complain at those organisations earlier ? Are for you "human" rights only for one side ? With this , more and more so called "leftists" will go away from you , sad to say .
2. What kind of disgusting morons they are...
Lednah ,   Europe   (09.20.07)

Andy ,   ramat hasharon   (09.20.07)
Halper is showing he doesn't give a s_ _ t about Sderot or its people. Only Gazans.
6. The life in Gaza better than in Africa
Amir ,   Beer Sheva   (09.20.07)
Tens of thousands of Africans move to Gaza every year. Lok at Hams and other groups: most of the ffrom Sudan and other African countries. In Gaza they don't have to work, get free food, free place to sleep and a gun. And electricity is almost always there. Many people in Africa never seen electricity, and why do they need this Westen stuff anyway?
7. timely oportunity
eg ,   usa   (09.20.07)
this erev yom kippur remember the kidnapped / missing soldiers demand that the government trade water and electricity for the soldiers
8. Prevent starvation of Gaza’
jeremy ,   hula valley kibbutz   (09.20.07)
Why is it all these bleeding hearts only cry for our enemies? You never hear about them going to the U.N about the rocket attacks on Israel or other forms of terror. It seems to me, that these people are self hating Israelis that would rather we stay weak and helpless, for that is the only good Jew. I beg to differ. I have said it before and I will say it again, if these people hate our country so much then go live in Jenin or Gaza. As for Gaza being an enemy entity, what else is new. Support terror, pay the price
9. Then change International Law!!!
Talula ,   Israel   (09.20.07)
It's positively outrageous and completely UNACCEPTABLE that these dirty little skunks can fire rockets at Sderot and still have the very neighbour who they are firing rockets at supply them with water and fuel. Tuff luck!!!! This will not stop them firing rockets, but it will make their lives more difficult. Maybe then they'll all sit down and ask themselves, What has Hamas done for us today. A BIG FAT NOTHING IS THE ANSWER!!!
10. THEY ARE SO INNOCENT WITH GUNS IN THE HAND
adi ,   RAMLE   (09.20.07)
INNOCENT PEOPLE!!! Y THE ISRAELIS WHO DIE IN SUICIDE BOMBINGS ARENT THEY INNOCENT?? THERE SHOULD BE AN END TO TERROR.
11. humanitarian organizations
adi ,   RAMLE   (09.20.07)
ALL THESE PEOPLE SHOULD BE KEPT FOR 24 HRS ON THE BORDER OR THEIR CHILDREN IN THE IDF OR THEY SHOULD BE KEPT IN THE BUNKERS WITH THEIR FAMILY FOR 24 HRS.. LETS SEE WHAT THEY SAY AFTER THAT
12. Hypocrites
lemar ,   uk   (09.20.07)
These dumb idiots say nothing when Siderot is shelled. They are a looney party in need of mental treatment
13. "Human rights"
Hamburger ,   Hamburg   (09.20.07)
Hey, the Palis were targeting civilians for who-knows-how long. All lsrael did was to start playing by the same rools. These groups defend human rights only as long as the human in question is not a Jew.
14. It's a hard decision
Ducky ,   Indonesia   (09.20.07)
Israel have to act on its civilian interest. On the other hand, It really become a disaster for palestinian. so, which one is the best??? Not all palestinians like Hamas...but Hamas is certainly 100% Palestinians... A country can't put its civilian unprotected...it's a right and hard choice.
15. playing with fire
liveletlive ,   Bat Yam, Israel   (09.20.07)
the threat of depriving one and a half million people who depend on Israeli electricity is not as criminal as actually doing it, but the danger is that such things having been said without the intention of doing it, can afterwards make it damned difficult not to end as a war criminal
16. An Israeli Group Appealing To The UN?
MK ,   Philadelphia USA   (09.20.07)
They should be arrested for treason - as the UN is one of the most anti-Israeli, anti-semitic organizations on Earth. Unbelievable.
17. Halpers Twisted Motivation
Marcel ,   Florida   (09.20.07)
He is guns ablaze for the death cult of Gaza but has not been motivated for his fellow Jews in Sderot. This is wickedness and why there is a real literal hell. Jeff will spend it forever with those evil ones he rallies to defend. The Palestinians will all suffer for the hatred they have instilled in their children. Thats the way it is. The few 'good' Palestinians have been executed as collaborators by the evil majority who lead all Palestinians to hell.
18. SCREW LOOOSE
ROLAND SEENER ,   LONDON ENGLAND   (09.20.07)
THE ARAB WRINGERS OF HANDS HAVE SHOWN THEIR CARING NATURE BY THE EXTRME AGGREVATION THEY HAVE SHOWN AT THE SPILLING OF JEWISH BLOOD TURN INTO ANY PART OF GAZA UNNANOUNCED AND YOU WILL BE FETED ...I DO;NT THINK.! ...I DO NOT KNOW WHICH ARAB HYPNOTIST THEY HAVE SEEN.,BUT THEY DO DEFINETELY NEED TO SEE A GOOD JEWISH ...HEAD SHRINKER!
19. Is Halper that stupid?
Phil ,   US   (09.20.07)
Those who are opposed to any Israeli decision to stop cut off electricity and other supplies (to the terrorist enclave called Gaza) hysterically insist that collective punishment against a civilian population is not allowed by "international law". Of course, wishing to appear even-handed, hypocrites such as Jeff Halper and UN Secretary General Moon also condemn the incessant rocket attacts against Sderot to be against "international law". Since Israel has not yet imposed any blockade, the only violators of "international law" at the present are the Hamas and other assorted terrorists who are firing rockets at Israel. Of course, Halper and Moon have no answer to the rockets. They only are smart enough to tell Israel what it cannot do, not on what Israel can do to prevent collective punishment on its civilians. Taking it a step further, if any collective punishment against civilians is a violation of "international law", can someone explain to me how the rigid sanctions against the despicable apartheid regime in S. Africa was not a violation of this ban on collective punishment. All South Africans, whether they were black or white were effected by these sanctions. Thus, the white opponent of apartheid and the black victim of apartheid were collectively punished along with the racists behind the system. Likewise, when a decision is made to boycott all Israeli academics, isn't that collective punishment? When Serbia was bombed by NATO airforces in order to stop attrocities against Muslims, weren't innocent Serbs collectively punished? Did Halper and the UN support the collective punishment imposed on racist South Africa? If so, why was collective punishment OK then and not OK now? Finally, why can't supplies be delivered to Gaza through Egypt? Why is Israel obligated to provide support to a group that openly advocates Israel's destruction? How about it,Mr. Halper and Mr. Moon.
20. They have all those vegetable greenhouses
Kyle ,   Southpark, CO, USA   (09.20.07)
They have all the vegetable greenhouses of Gush Katif that were given to them as a gift when the Jews were expelled, so they can grow all the food they need.
21. #6, were you ASLEEP when you wrote that??
Khalid ,   Gaza City   (09.20.07)
"Tens of thousands of Africans move to Gaza every year." What?? No they don't. You are out of your mind. You need a Palestinian passport or ID card to be permitted into (and out of) Gaza or the West Bank. "Lok at Hams and other groups: most of the ffrom Sudan and other African countries." Why are you talking out of your ass? Most Hamas members are refugees from pre-'48 Palestine or from Gaza. Not Sudan you moron. I'm willing to bet you any amount that more Africans move to ISRAEL than to GAZA. "Many people in Africa never seen electricity" Typical racist Zionist garbage.
22. Yo #11 adi, here's a better idea.
Khalid ,   Gaza City   (09.20.07)
How about sending all those humanitarian people that you hate so much to live in GAZA for 24 hrs. They would actually have to spend more than 24 hrs just in the heat of the Sinai desert trying to get inside first! But let's say they don't get the treatment of normal civilians and they get to enter Gaza, you honestly think life in Sderot is more difficult for civilians than life in Gaza?? HA! How bout send a group to Sderot and a group to Gaza City or Rafah, and at the end we can hear each of their stories and be the judge on whose civilians suffer more.
23. "PREVENT ROCKETS IN SDEROT"
zev ,   usa   (09.20.07)
24. #1 Stupid
Be Right   (09.20.07)
You wrote (quote) "With this , more and more so called "leftists" will go away from you , sad to say" You seem to be a lefty moron yourself, if these people represent the left, which they do, why is it SAD when people on the left wake up and change sides?
25. How come they can get weapons but no bread?
robert renders ,   belgium   (09.20.07)
26. OK Then!
Jewish CANADIAN ,   Toronto   (09.20.07)
Starve them. Murder them. They are not Jews so their lives are worthless. THAT attitude will get you peace!Sderot is a tragedy but it pales compared to life in Gaza.Treat people like dogs and they will react accordingly. But you dont want to hear that do you?Pathetic.
27. Starvation in Gaza
I. Barr ,   Detroit,USA   (09.20.07)
Starvation in Gaza is only in the mind of radical Israeli. Nurseries that produced produce for 120 million dollars/year, food supplies that will continue to go to Gaza, Gaza has oil and Hamas refuses to implement agreements to exploit the oil that will give Palestinians 2,7 billion dollars annually. Hamas can smuggle food instead of weapons. Lastly, the situation in Gaza does not come close to the situation in Darfur, Zimbabwe, Somalia and others. People in Gaza do not die of starvation. In Africa thousands die daily. UNWRA provides 623dollars/year/soul to Palestinians but in Darfur it is 5 dollars/soul/year. Halper knows well the facts, but he is using the issue to advance his anarchistic views that call for destruction of the State of Israel. No houses were demolished recently in Gaza but many were demolished in Sderot as a result of Qassam missiles launched by Jef Halper friends.
28. As a Quebecer to a Torontonian # 26
Al   (09.20.07)
Mange la merde..Taberrnac!
29. Just warfare
Christian zionist ,   Dallas, USA   (09.20.07)
Given that Hamas reflects the democratic will of the Gaza/Palestinians, and have sheltered Islamic Jihad (with Plausable denial), the firing of mortars and rockets into Israel, the kidnapping of Shalit, and maintains a posture of seeking Israel's destruction.....seige is the minimally initial, measured response. As we used atomic and firebomb of civilian populations against Hitler and Japan in WWII, Israel is certainly justified in applying this non-violent measure against a terror state!
30. to # 24
charles ,   petach tikva   (09.20.07)
Because many so called "leftists" were maybe supporting this organisation , and it's sad that they are reacting so lately , and so one sided . Your vocabulary shows only the low level you have , i will not fall so deep .
