Belin like Peres wont allow themselves to admit defeat. They were both involved in drafting oslo, the both know its failed but they feel if oslo and the so called peace process fail then we personly failed and we cant handle that. The solution is if what we were willing to offer for peace just isnt enough anymore then give the palestians everything they want so they wont have any choice but to want to make peace then we can say there were some hitches along the way but in the end oslo and the peace process we started worked and we can be proud of ourselves. If they give the palestians everything they demand today for peace but they start another war in future to get more then Belin & co will simply say lets give them extra that way the peace process can continue to work at least for another couple of years untill they come out with their latest list of demands.
