Just today there was a statement by the founder of Israel's Islamic Movement, Abdullah Nimr Darwish who said that Israeli Arabs will never agree to do national service for the State of Israel because it would call into question their loyalty to the Palestinian cause. Abdullah Nimr Darwish is considered to be a moderate! Do these 'leaders' feel that Israeli Arabs should just get without giving anything?

And how many taxes do they pay. It is known to everyone that tax evasion is rampant in the Arab sector.

I understand the Arabs in Israel not wanting to serve in the mlitary but they don't want to do any civil service whatsoever. It seems they want more than equal rights. And yes, the same goes for a good percentage of the Haredi who deserve a similar "benefit" to living in Israel.

I'm really fed up with Palestinians whinging all the time. The Sudanese are far worse off, BUT the Palestinians get more in aid per person that any other group of people on this planet. If you look, you'll see that all constituencies that don't have representatives in government get very little. If the arab parties would adopt platforms that would allow them to be in the government, they'd get much more. But they all say they are not willing to accept Israel as a Jewish state, so they never are in teh government. It's as much their fault as anyone else's.
