Georges Habash was one of the Arab leaders that was opposed to any peace arrangement with Israel. He lived through terror, for terror and his legacy is terror. Whether Christian or Muslim, Habash was first of all a mean murderer. To the Arab refugees and the Arabs still living in Judea, Samaria and Gaza he brought only death, sorrow and misery. His is one of the main responsible for thousands of victims : Arabs and Israelis. How Habash rejected the PLO and Fatah since the 60's, and now he's the great Palestinian legend. I think three days of mourning is a cheap political move, and Fatah is glad to see him go. Habash was the pioneer of the idea that attacking Israeli civilian targets to make big headlines was a valid concept. In light of Habash, Israel must never allow Hamas to take a respectable place in the world political scene. This is a good day for all men of conscience.
