61. To #57 - HaShem is the Judge, not you
Noam ,   Jerusalem   (02.12.08)
The HOD group is not trying to flaunt anything, and it is not your place to condemn or judge them. Only on Yom HaDin will HaShem be the True Judge. HaShem is crying at your intolerance of other Jews who try as best they can to keep as many mitzvot as they can. Remember, no human being is perfect.
62. Shas also think themselves as religious...
(02.12.08)
and we all know who they are
63. #57-Keep your intolerance in Boston; Wishing Gays Acceptance
David ,   Tel Aviv   (02.12.08)
I hope religious gays are better accepted; it can't be easy for them, and they any Jew who wants to serve God should be encouraged.
64. See HOD website hod.co.il for the truth!
Yoni ,   Jerusalem   (02.12.08)
So much misunderstanding and hate is very sad. Go to the HOD website for more information.
65. #63, typical stupid reply. "intolerance"
Baruch ,   Boston, USA   (02.13.08)
It's amazing how some really stupid people think that it's a mark of intolerance to dislike and want to avoid really absurd people, who practice really unnatural sexual relations. And then to think they should flaunt it in a religious environment. Really bizarre!!
66. homo
chaim ,   jerusalem   (02.13.08)
would it also be ok to except murderers or adulterers be exceped
67. "Yaakov" Sullivan
Yerach ,   Jerusalem,Israel   (02.13.08)

68. # 65 Baruch in Boston and his homophobia
Simon ,   TA which is Israel   (02.13.08)
Unnatural sex? Well its very natural to me thankyou. What gives you the right to judge and slander people according to your so called religious values? And you dont even live in Israel! Did i say i live by the rules of the Torah? No so butt out of our lives/ I wonder where such hatred really comes from hay Baruch? Do you also apply the same hatred to lesbians, blacks or non jews as well, or how about women not covering their hair, attacked any of them lately in Boston?
69. #68, again with tired cliches to avoid the truth
Baruch ,   Boston, USA   (02.13.08)
All the GLBT crowd can do is throw around terms like "homophobia", "hatred", and "religious values" in order to justify their unnatural, yes unnatural behavior, instead of making a logical case. This is not a religious issue. It's an issue of sanity. The GLBT crowd is in fact insane, but has achieved a level of acceptance for its insanity. Just because YOU think it's natural is irrelevant. People who suffer mental illness always see the world through distorted lenses. Simon, porking some other guy in the "butt" (your Freudian slip in your TB) is not normal sex. Sorry, pal.
70. Baruch , Boston
charles ,   petach tikva   (02.13.08)
You are just the same , because you think that being religious [ in your way ] is normal , does'nt mean it is . For you being Gay is insane , for them not . It's not the natural way of reproduction ? you're right , but their relations are not meant to have a children fabric . So let them live their life , they are wrong for you ? who are YOU to judge them ? If they are sinning in the eyes of god , he will judge them , it's not your role . And if it's sinning for god , why has he created them ? Don't forget that for some , the true gays , it's most probably inborn or genetic . And i'll tell you , i can't understand gays , women can be SO beautyfull , so i'm not gay at all . We are talking here about gays , not GLBT .
71. Yerach , # 29 Yaacov is not sullivan !
charles ,   petach tikva   (02.13.08)
regarding what you wrote regarding this sullivan , you're right . But i'll tell you Yaacov is not a trade mark , there are very much Yaacov's in the world . Read # 29 , and you will see the difference
72. #70, Charles
Baruch ,   Boston, USA   (02.13.08)
As usual, defenders of GLBT (regardless of what you say about just gays) revert back to the religious argument. I said CLEARLY, this is NOT a religious issue, but your first comment is about being religious. And, as much as you may think this is an issue of only "gays", I live in a state where gay "marriage" is legal, and you need only look at where it goes after that to know that GLBT is one big group of lunatics. The big push right now is "transgenderism" in the schools. Once you eliminate the normal definition of genders and gender identities, you have opened it up to any variation. You have removed the limits to definition of genders. Get with it. From your posts, it's clear you are a decent person, with compassion for these people. Honestly, I don't much care what they do with each other, but they want to be in everyone's face with this. In the US Jewish community, having broken down the Reform and Conservative movements, they now are on the attack against the Orthodox movements. If it gets to the point where my synagogue has gay men davening together in the men's section, hugging under their joint tallis, I may become a Mormon.
73. THERE IS NO ESCAPE FROM GAYS.
RCA ,   USA   (02.14.08)
They always were, are here now , and forever will be. Get used to it. Besides, why try to escape or avoid them ? They are everywhere whether you recognize them or not. They usually are attracted to their own, and they add flair, style, and make life more colorfull and amusing. They are very entertaining.
74. THE GAYS ADD SPARKLE !
RCA ,   USA   (02.14.08)
And,.....many of the lesbians can turn out to be good soldiers and leaders. Take a brouse through history and current events.
75. #72 You describe the coming of a great fall
Josh   (02.14.08)
If the US is to remain a viable nation, they must eliminate sin. As far as I can see the US has archived nearly every curse in the book of Devarim. Now that the seeds have taken root, the garden will be overgrown. I would say make aliyah. Its not much better here but at least people here still have some ability to speak out against it. I lived for a short while in Salem (ironically short for Jerusalem) and I saw many forbidden practice there and a large number of middle-class people who were addicted to recreational drugs. This was 20 years ago, I can only imagine where the society has gone since then. Clearly there must be an end result to such debauchery and usually it is not blessings from Hashem. Like those in Germany, read the signs and plan what to do if it gets worse. In Sodom, the entire society was at the door of Lot. Will the gays grow to such popularity that you would find a raging crowd at your door telling the Orthodox to bring out your men? They already demonize you for saying no to the acceptance of gay lifestyles. They're in the schools and their aggression cannot be denied. It is easy to see a society like Sodom resurfacing in the near future. What can we do? It appears the concept of civil rights is a chapter out of the pages of rome. How many days did it take for roman empire to fall? The current model of Civil rights gives root to a garden of evil. Judge not and give the a microphone and a platform to the unpopulars and repels. Certainly not Jewish Torah concepts. If you listen to Charles and his Christian idea of Judge not (who are we to judge), you are not allowed to be a nation of judges as Torah proclaims, but rather overrun by the more aggressive of society. Namely evil men. To stand against them is to be "Judging". Since when did righteous judgement become a negative thing? Discernment and wise men are being outlawed under the placard of civil rights. Politicians need to grab the reigns of this runaway carriage and restore sanity and limits.

charles ,   petach tikva   (02.14.08)
Do you know what GLBT means ? Gays , lesbians , bisexuals and transsexuals . Very different people . You say that they have broken down the reform and conservative , are there so many that they can do it ? If your religious beliefs would change if a gay person come to "davenen" near you , that's very sad . He will certainly not trying to convince you to act as he does . I don't think that they want to impose their way of life to others , i've never been approached by one of them , much more by religious : have you put your tefilim on today ? was i asked more than once [ here in Israel ] As far as i see , there is still a differentiation of the genders , no "transgenderism" , boys are not more "feminine" as years ago . The change is that , contrary to years ago , gays dare to proclaim openly what they are , they are not hiding anymore . The same occured also , "lehavdil" , in the christian churches . They also openly confess what they are . But gays always existed , it's not something new . Regarding gay marriage , it's also a way to protect the rights of a surviving partner .
77. Josh the Goy wants us to believe he's Jewish
charles ,   petach tikva   (02.14.08)

80. #78 Sure I do - Nation of Judges
Josh   (02.15.08)
You say Torah does not allow us to be judges of others? Maybe your getting your new testament mixed with Torah. Deuteronomy 4 requires that we uphold the laws "wise and discerning" You know discerning = to show good or outstanding judgment and understanding Additionally : ויקרא 19:15 Leviticus לא תעשו עול במשפט לא תשא פני דל ולא תהדר פני גדול בצדק תשפט עמיתך׃ "...be a judge to your neighbor in righteousness." This is for the entire nation: 17:1 Additionally following the crowd to accept the gays is also forbidden. שמות 23:2 Exodus Thou shalt not follow the multitude for evil; neither shalt thou answer in a cause, to go after the multitude to pervert judgment. So there is no where that I could find in Torah that allows the people not judge with righteous judgment. Judge not lest ye be judged is Jesus' words and they show his willingness to allow sinners to continue sinning. What should a righteous person fear if they were to be judged (lest yee be judged)? Maybe we should just stop sinning so that we do not fear being judged. Should the police stop doing their job because they are sinners? Leaders need to lead according to the good, rather than pervert justice for the crowd's sake.
81. Josh , the goy , learn to read
charles ,   petach tikva   (02.15.08)
Where did i say that the Torah does'nt allow us , Jews , not you a goy , to judge others . I asked "who are you to judge them" . So again you , a goy , distord writings . Regarding the words of your , not my , jesus , i don't know them , and i have'nt , contrary to you the christian , any literature containing this .
82. Sadly, all you religious are defunct crazed illiterate fools
GRRLOZ ,   Sydney, Australia   (04.03.08)
I know I have said this before....but all you hate filled religious girls and boys need to get a life. Shouldn't you all be praying for your souls about now instead of worrying about everyone else? Its amazing that you crucify your own people when, as a nation you are surrounded by enemies. Haven't you ever heard the saying "United we stand, divided we fall?"... guess not.... you're a sad sad bunch really...
