Blame the people being attacked... Perhaps the Europeans should adopt a very common American phrase... "It's the THOUGHT that counts". Meaning, the intent is what matters most. Hamas' intent is to destroy Israel, bring terror, and kill Jews... Israel's intent is to prevent that. If anyone disagrees with this, you're insane and know nothing about the situation.

Its so easy for the Europeans in ther SAFE and comfortable homes who know they can walk out the door not have a rocket land on their head or get on a bus knowing another passenger isnt going to blow himself up to kill you. I dont see security gaurds at the doors of European buildings checking your bags there you walk straight in. I dont see any European millitary bases being tunneld into and then soilders are murdered or kidnapped. Hamas run Gaza and Hamas are trying to kill Israelis so either this is allowed to happen or Israel takes actton. The terrorist organistions operate out of civilian areas even school yards so if they are going to operate out the civilian areas then there is no way to try and protect Israelis from the terrorists without harming the civilians being used as human shields. If Hamas want to take their fighting out of civilian areas operate out of open fields then no civilians are going to be affected by any attacks Israel carries out against Hamas. This is not conventional warfare its urban warfare and in this type of war if there is one thing that can be garunteed its that civilians are going to be affected. The civilians wont be sitting at home watching on tv about their brave soilders doing all the fighting elsehwere while they get on with their everyday lives like the Europeans have the luxury of doing. If Europe wants to do some condeming how about blaming ALL of it on the terrorists try and undersrtand Israel is not fighting an ordinary enemy in an old fashioned war where soilders fight other soilders far away from civilian areas. For the EU its not only about playing the one with all the morrals its about trying to make the EU competing with the US to because the EU politicians dream about them having the same influence in word affairs as the US does difference so they make morrality speeches.

Let me see, out of 466 only 158 were not "actively involved in hostilies when killed" - a category that includes Hamas "militants" not actually firing at the time of death etc but is the closest proxity to "civilian" - and 100% of the Israeli casualties are civilian. It also means that a Palestinian "civilian" was roughly four times more likely to be killed by a Palestinian as an Israeli and that last year Palestinians killed more Palestinians that Israel did.

what about gaza's collective punishment on israel? where's the outrage? where's the condemnation? instead, we get foolish moral equivalence. we should consider the source.

The EU has demonstrated that it has no plan for the current Islamic invasion of Europe other than concessions so it is not surprising that they should recommend the same. The *civilians* are the ones who voted in Hamas, and presumably did so *because* they were a terrorist organization, not *despite* the fact. They *should* be punished. In fact, truth be told, they will have to be destroyed in order to get the evil root of Islam out of their corrupted hearts. There will be no peace while Islamic ideology controls the populace of the "Palestinians." Only fools believe otherwise - fools like the EU Parliament, who are well on their way to being Islamicized. At any rate, their criticism can be safely ignored.

Rockets.. maybe the Middle East is used to this, but there are rockets -- weapons with the purpose to kill... being blasted into your country, and they're crying about electricity.
