Amnesty International never has and never will be fair and impartial when it comes to Israel.

Too bad they are finding this out the hard way. I wonder what the Palestinians want more; war and destitution or peace and prosperity. Sadly, I think we all know the answer.

Gazans can go through Egypt, why pressure Israel? Things may be bad but obviously not bad enough that they cannot afford rockets and weapons.

We know you hate the Jews but: There are no Jews in Gaza. There havent been any Jews in Gaza for 2 years. The Gazans trashed the Jewish farms. The Gazans turned irrigation pipe into missiles. The Gazans have been firing missiles indiscriminately towards Jewish civilians. The Gazan show their children Disney style characters of hate and death worship. The Gazans have turned the strip into a terror enclave. The Gazans have smuggled Katyushas in from Iran. The Gazans have been building Hizbullah bunkers. On and on it goes. Israel has the moral obligation to stop all of the above. Period.

But I'm guessing they won't accept any of the blame, will they?

As Gaza now the worst "it has been since Israel has occupied the West Bank in 1967, " then it was worse in Gaza before Israel won the Gaza strip in 1967. And now that Israel is out Gaza has deteriorated to what it was prior to Israel controlling it. Thoroughly understandable and it is no surprise. But why does this group compare Gaza to the 'West Bank'?

So then why does Hams use the funds it obtains to buy arms and use gas to fly rockets. No pity. Israel is under no obligation to make Gaza flourish - very much the reverse. did the US supply German/Italy/Japan with food and gas? Of course not. Germany blockaded England to starve the country into submission and defeat, as England , US, Russia did to germany. Israel must do no less

they simply came to terms with the fact that peace with Israel is their only hope for a better future - and not beligerency. They cannot expect to have a better life and, at the same time, provoke Israel with random and constant rocket attacks at civilian towns. Nowhere should it be any clearer to anyone that the miserable situation the Gazans are in is, for the most part, of their own doing. That Egypt, their natural ally and brother, sealed them up and abandoned them for 40 years has only made the situation all that much more volatile.

Oh how these blleding hearts weep. However, they forget that the residents of Gaza have brought this all on themselves. Prior to 67 Egypt ruled Gaza and was harsher on them. We wanted to make their lives better but they turned us down. Gaza is a hell. However, the people brought Hamas to power now they get their just deserts.

The Palastinians have been given billions of dollars......theres no excuses, they voted Hamass that spends the money on missiles. Ive also noticed most of the women i see are fairly obese. They dont look starving to me.

If an arab child living in gaza had a dog that caught fleas,amnesty would discover it,the bbc would report it and the u.n. would take a vote and all three would blame Israel.How do I know this,because that is their repeated pattern.Truth the first casualty of war.

First - any mention of Darfur? No? didn't think so. Second - why should any country feed, clothe, power and employ an area that is attacking it?? Third - The report says Israel is an occupying power. Ok, so who's in charge? Not the "occupying power", so who then? Why, Hamas of course. Not their fault of course, all that aid they're getting from abroad is going right to it's people, isn't it?? Fourth - why is it so difficult to simply stop the Qassams, then let Israel make the next move and start talking? Read the Hamas charter for that answer. It's so easy to blame Israel for all the evils in the world, but I've yet to see the Arab League, or anyone else offer any humanitarian support to the Pals. Where's the flood of relief supplies from Iran, Syria, Saudi or Egypt? Not a scrap. The Arab world foisted the Pals on Israel, washed their hands of it and are betting on Hamas to win, Hezbollah to place, and Fatah to show.

Look, everyone understands the right for protecting ones country. We get it. But you must have some compassion and empathy for those sufferring. and you must see their point of view. No one asked the Palestinians if they wanted the refugees from WW2 to be planted on their land, and if they would move over. which is what was forcibly made to happen. the Palestinians lived there centuries before the jews were alotted Israel by the UN. they had farms, land, history. Most people honestly felt bad for the jewish plight after WW2 but at what cost? not to suffer another group. Please, search within your hearts and see that these are people have hearts and children too. they have already succumbed to the utmost abuse by this invasion of foreigners. They were there first. the jews come from brooklyn, russia and with what ---a self of entitlement because they MAY have come from that area 2000 yrs ago? cant you see the Palestinians point of view for not liking you? and then you use unnecessary force on so many innocents. you should be truly ashamed of yourselves. truly. not everyone believes in the jewish version of GOD. I agree that Hamas first creates this tragedy, and then creates a travesty by prostituting their dead children for anti-Israeli PR war, but the truth is undeniable - Gaza is the hell on Earth. I don't care that they spent billions of $ and Euros on not-to-feed their children, but fight with everyone in sight, Jews or Arabs, it's not those children's fault. Dancing on the graves of the exploited Palestinian children doesn't do us any gooed either.

WHY shoud Israel give or provide ANYTHING to the enemy state of Gaza? No water, fuel, food---ANYTHING. The muslims must LEAVE GAZA. That is the ONLY resolution with these terrorist enemies. No further negotiations.

Since Hamas has taken Gaza back to Khartoum, 1967 politically (No Peace, Recognition or Negotiation with Israel), it is hardly surprising or unfair that Gaza has returned to 1967economically. The Palestinians' situation will improve only when they abandon their goal of destroying Israel.

in laymans terms before the occupation. so to me it meens under Israeli occupation the residents of gaza prospered, flourished even. then came the oslo accords and so life deteriorated. conclusion the Israeli left wingers hate arabs. more than Jews.

If the Gazans had built homes and farmed the land that was returned to them they would not be in the condition they are in now! Instead they chose to allow Hamas and other terrorists to use the returned land to launch rockets into Israel from! The Palestianians brought this situation on themselves and only have themselves to blame for it! They could have been farming the land, growing food,living in peace with Israel, instead they chose terror, so let them reap what they sow!

The hypocrisy of the left is astounding. They shout, "End the occupation now!" but when Israel did end the occupation of Gaza, they accused Israel of unilateralism. They cry out against racism, but they treat the Palestinians with a paternalistic racism that considers them so primitive they cannot be held responsible for what they do. After all, I have been told, you can't expect the Palestinians to change, they grew up with an anti-Israel narrative. Israelis are expected to change. Israelis who have lived for years under the threat of Arab aggression and Palestinian terrorism are expected to change and to forgive and to apologize. But Palestinians are not expected to change. They are not expected to stop broadcasting children's TV programs that fill their children's minds with racist hatred. No wonder the Palestinians keep calling themselves victims.
