I expect Henery that if a nieghbor in LA was firing rockets and bullets at your community and was doing it from his home with childern present inside ....you would want the local swat team to do everything in thier power to safely capture or kill the individual and to limit colateral damage .... even in those situations a number of the childern have a potential of being injured or killed. Hamas ,Hizbelah & fatah have grilled the "glory of martyrdom" into thier population including the childern. I agree with #25

the only way for peace is to destroy the terrorist infrastructure, regardless of the collateral damage, destroy the governments that support and finance terrorism (syria, iran, saudi) and teach these people how to live a civilized life without the death and murder cult of islam.

Im not sure how I feel about these pictures being splattered all over the place. But the fact is that Israel needs better PR. Even here in the US where the opinion is traditionally pro-Israel, we hardly every see good representatives of Israel explaining their side. The Arabs are always out there manipulating the press. The media makes history these days, Israel needs to catch up.

In the western world´s media we see only pictures that arabs want to show us = dead pals, IDF soldiers with guns, the security fence with children etc. Every time I read about Israel something that is not true I react and write about it but I feel very lonely and helpless. I think that Israel should give us pictures, numbers, facts about the situations! There is no news about Sderot and rockets, no pictures. We need your help to make people know the truth! They believe the lies because they don´t know anything else! I understand that sending pictures of dead people and the love ones is not easy. You find the way to do it in the right way. Please, show the world what is going on.

I think that we must also take into account that a lot of the American public are peabrained underachievers. Just look at the way they are electing the next commander in chief, as if they were selecting a new American Idol. They don't think. They don't read. They are misinformed, they are swayed by emotions and influenced by pictures. That's why the Palestinians, who are masters at PR, are using pictures of children crying, children lighting candles in the dark, of women starving due to a Jewish blockade... Terry, it works! They are all convinced that the Jews never left Gaza, that the Palestinians are the victims, that the Jews are a bunch of violent racists. While I agree that a decent government should take the defense of the country seriously, I also think it's important to show the world that Israelis live in terror, that they have been massacred and they continue to be murdered, that the danger of Jewish victimization in a second Holocaust is a very real possibility, that there is a lot of hatred among the Arabs in Israel and in the territories. People simply don't know that ... Although I cringe at this FM idea, it may work. Furthermore, private organizations should publicize worldwide the words expressed by the PA and their true plans for Israel once they get statehood. Of course the government would rather keep that from the public, both the Israelis and the Americans.

Henry, do you think it is acceptable for entire segment of the Israeli population to live in fear and terror. The missiles can be fatal as we have seen in the last few weeks. Bt beyond that, living under the constant threat of air raid, never knowing what is going to hit where is neither an acceptable reality nor something that any Israeli need live with. So please let me know how you would stop it. While I am one who clearly supported leaving Gaza, fewer arabs died when Israel occupied Gaza. It would seem the arabs are asking to be occupied again. the Scandinavian media were full of pictures from Lebanon, covering the impact of every single Israeli act of defence in every single part of that country. WHILE NOT A SINGLE PICTURE FROM THE ISRAELI SIDE OF THE BORDER WAS SHOWN!!!!!! The Scandinavians in this way are profoundly deluded as to the reality of things. People there have no idea about how it was to live (and die) in northern Israel, but they DID know about every single pebble that was overturned in Lebanon!

The fact is there are two wars going on, a military one and a media / PR war. If you lose the latter, you will get world condemnation and you will lose the military one. The Pals use their women and children as the frontline to shield the fighters. They commit war crimes but that is not out there. What people are getting is a head count of the dead therefore Israel is using its military might to kill women and children. Few people are aware of the billions in aid they have received which is used to arm them and line their pockets rather than develop proper housing to replace the refugee camps. They have Al Jazeera, Israel has zilk. Israel conceals its suffering, they advertise theirs. The world is an audio visual one the visual impacts far more than the audio. There has been a paradigm shift, wake up to it.
