Your base distortions of what I wrote are banal and misleading. I was writing to Rivkah,and anyone else of a like mind, who gave no indication of knowing these seven students on a personal level yet were willing to brand them terrorists. Contrary to the red herring you both throw out regarding Jewish behaviour or the academic probabilities of National Socialist peace accords, my reference was to the bigotted responses of the middle class. Your black and white paradigm of exclusive proprietary rights to hardship are irrelevant and obscene. The inability to show compassion for these young people coupled with a desire to collectively judge every inhabitant of Gaza is rank. There seems to be overall a low priority on education in Gaza, and just having a few students go to school in America perhaps isn't going to make a whole lot of difference, nor is it going to be able to keep the terrorists away from the schools. That said, I do feel for them. I wish that everyone who wanted an education could get one.
