31. Iran declared war first ...so....
Daniel ,   Brazil   (06.07.08)
Incredible! Iran declared war against Israel hundreda times since Al´jad got the power ... So, why the world stay so sleepy about Iran´s manaces and potential nukes? Any surprise? Israel got the right to burn them ...it´s war folks!
32. persian cat
Cudjo   (06.07.08)
To the feline with the big mouth. No country on earth returns land that it has won in a war that it did not initiate. Israel returns Gaza and they fire rockets daily. Give the golan and more rockets will come from the North. And don't be so proud of those cowards in Lebanon who fire rockets and hide behind women and children.
33. #25 Tarmir, the typical Zionist propagandist
Johan Odin ,   Oslo, Norway   (06.07.08)
Tamir, have you forgotten so soon that Hezbollah did not return fire upon Israeli cities until AFTER Israel first fired upon Lebanese cities. And did you forget that it was Israel who was violating the borders of Lebanon, a sovereign state, on nearly a daily basis as reported by UNFIL prior to the capture of Israeli soldier. And did you also forget that Israel admitted that it had pre-planned its attack upon Lebanon months in advance, making one wonder if Israel's border provocations were not intended to create an excuse for its pre-planned attack upon Lebanon. Regardless, if the capture a two Israelis soldiers was a justification for Israel's wanton attacks upon Lebanese civilians and infrastructure, surely any Israeli attack upon Iran for no reason other than Israel wants to force its will upon an sovereign state would certainly justify massive retaliation against Israel's infrastructure and Israeli civilians using the Israeli model of retaliation.
34. It wouldn't take much to distablize the Iranian regime.
Stewart ,   USA   (06.07.08)
There are those in the Revolutionary Gaurd just laying low and biding their time. The Iranian defenses are Russian and will work about as well as the same ones in Syria. Israel's big industry is software. A missle can't destroy software.
35. #27 Yeah about that, if it's a fight you want then Bless God
it's a fight your ,   gonna get! Bye now!!   (06.07.08)
36. #27 So then is the monkey a-jad a fool or a fraud?? Your
words, not mine. ,   Rueben, Israel   (06.07.08)

evangelist   (06.07.08)
you seem to underestimate destiny. i dont support either sides, not israel nor iran, i support peace in general. but. maybe you've heard about the bible codes? it did forsee everything that has happened until now with cut diamond precision, and it does forsee the fall of persia (and it's cats, regarding you). further it is talking about the war "gog and magog", where israel will suffer great loss of casualties but will master to erase (in defense) all it's surrounding countries which tried to eliminate israel and it's jews. there's even a precise date and time for these events, but i'll leave it for you as a surprise. so yeah, get the popcorn and enjoy... :-) cheers to that! *kling*
38. #33, Odin, that is plainly incorrect
Jake   (06.07.08)
Your claims are easily debunked. The very first act carried out by Hizbullah was a "diversionary fire" of rockets on Israeli civilian communities, as cover for its capture/kill operation, that included the killing of 8 Israeli soldiers and capture of 2 before Israel fired a single shot. Also, the first rockets to hit an Israeli urban area, Katyusha rockets in Stella Maris in Haifa, preceded Israeli aerial bombardments in Lebanese built-up areas. Also, your claim that Israel pre-planned the whole thing is a white elephant. Hizbullah had launched a number of terror operations against Israel in the months preceding the conflict, and Israel would have to be out of its mind not to have a contingency plan to counterattack should a such operations be repeated. Nasrallah's word has also been proven to be worthless, after he violated an oath he made never to turn his weapons against his own people. It is says a lot that you have bought into all his propaganda.
39. #33 Get your story straight Johan
Cynthia ,   USA   (06.07.08)
The War in Lebanon began when Hizbullah killed 8 IDF soldiers and kidnapped 2 IDF soldiers patrolling on the Israeli side of the Lebanese border. This was an unprovoked attack on a quiet border. Simultaneously, Hizbullah launched katyusha rockets into Israeli civilian populations averaging 300 per day. Israel has many plans on the drawing board but Israel did not start this senseless war of aggression. Did you conveniently forget about the daily rocket attacks that killed many Israelis and caused millions of dollars in damage? On top of that, Hizbullah in a pre-meditated plan intentionally used Lebanon and Lebanon's civilian populations as shields for the launching of these missiles. You should direct your anger at Nasrallah. He turned Lebanon into a graveyard and caused the death of hundreds of people for no reason. Do you think the Israelis should have passively allowed Hizbullah to attack and destroy their country? You can also tell me why the Red Cross has not been allowed to visit the Israeli prisoners? This is required under international law.
40. israel must destroy amalek's nuclear sites. it's time.
debra ,   usa   (06.07.08)
41. US committed to diplomacy on Iran
Daniel ,   Israel   (06.07.08)
And Iran to destruction of Israel! How long will you bear this? And peruse diplomacy? Trying our nerves to breakdown point!
42. Will the world tolerate a nuclear Iran?
Robert Bernier ,   Tel Aviv   (06.07.08)
The world cannot tolerate a nuclear weapon in the hands of people who say openly, explicitly and publicly that they want to wipe Israel off the map.The U.S. is the leader of the international effort to stop the Iranians from becoming nuclear. Israel does not agree with the U.S. National Intelligence Estimate that Iran had probably shelved its nuclear weapons program, and feels instead that Iran’s “military program continues and has never been stopped. If this program continues, at some point they will be in possession of a nuclear weapon.” The future of Iran at : http://xrl.us/bkiua
43. #37 Hate to burst your buble, but the bible codes are . . .
Stewart ,   USA   (06.07.08)
probably not at all what many people would like to think them to be. They definitely are a code. See http://www.meru.org/biblrevw.html. Even if they were, they have questionable predictive value as pointed out by Satinover. The world has never been at a loss for meglomaniac idiots: Hitler, Chavez, Amadena whatever. The last is not really running the show in Iran. He's just a front man for the Iotolas.
44. For sure persian cat knows how to wind you up ! :)
(06.07.08)
idiots !
45. Diplomacy = We can't.
petra ,   usa   (06.07.08)
When Bush is gone, will Obama be any better? America has all her troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, what can she do take the war to Iran? Israel is onher own as per usual. Hopefully, Israels leadership will change shortly with a New cabinet and new PM.
46. COURTESY TO IRAN WITHOUT BEING ASKED
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (06.07.08)
The remarks passed by the Transport Minister caused an abrupt increse in the price of oil.Does this help Iran.......................of course it does, doesn't it?Having to sustain the sanctions and conducting business with a slight increase in costs,it does help Iran, readers.
47. #43 very sorry to burst your bubble too buddy.
evangelist   (06.07.08)
not only the bible codes predicted everything with precision what has happened through out history, but the kabbalah (zohar) too. dont act like you know anything about it kid ;-) now be a good boy and go play outside.
48. Meanwhile; one-man diplomatic nightmare
Red Temple ,   White Mtns.   (06.07.08)
was numbingly boring and generally austrasized as usual. The pasta puttanesca was fine; delightfully naughty!

51. Iran threatens to sue...
Cy ,   Reading, Berks   (06.07.08)
Ah MAD inejad threatens this and Ah MAD inejad threatens that... His wagging fingers and lectures to the rest of the world are getting tiresome. His threats get more frequent, louder and ever more extreme - the actions of a failed President. The tragedy is that his extreme pronouncements also reflects his paranoia and blood lust and his ever more draconian actions ordinary Iranians have to suffer, with Iran just a hairs breath away from becoming dark and desperate police state. The hopes of a generation of young Iranians are in the hands of one unhinged man with a lust for blood and war and with a complete disregard for the mayhem in Iran his actions are creating. I sometimes believe that Ah MAD inejads actions are deliberately designed to trigger war because he believes that war is his destiny. But even a bird brain knows that war will lead to a global social and economic catastrophe not just for the US or the region but for the EU and most of all the emerging nations as well as Brasil, China, Russia and India. Their hard won economic progress will almost instantly evaporate as economic depression sets in globally. Ah MAD inejad is not just the concern of the US or Israel or the region. This one ogre is on the verge of destroying the hopes of an entire generation right across the world. We all know Khatami is watching Ah MAD inejad like a hawk. But when is the hawk going to take Iran back from the brink by crushing the rat Ah MAD inejad? Because MAD Ah MAD inejad is already OUT OF CONTROL.
52. 47. Get a grip. You obviously have read very little and ..
Stewart MS Eng ,   USA   (06.07.08)
understand even less math especially if you never read Wiessman PhD who discovered the codes or gone to the Meru society web page. Wiessman specifically noted that the codes were not predictive unless viewed in a quantum sense and even then it opens every thing up to probabilities. Have any idea what quantum mechanics is? It's what the Universe is based on. Well you just keep waiting for everything to happen. Meanwhile their are those who go out and make it happen.
