and, judging from the names of the Rabbis that I recognize, the only non-Reform name I am able to find on this letter is that of R Elliot Dorff. This letter, in my opinion, says less about Judaism itself than it does about the political beliefs of Jews in America and their understanding of Judaism. While "Tikkun Olam and the pursuit of justice" are Jewish values, they are not the be-all, end-all of Judaism itself- contrary to what the Reform movement might like us to believe.

I bet the farm that among these rabbis, there is not one single rabbi from Chabad, Esh Hatorah, Orthodox Union, Brezlevers or any other real hallachik Jewish stream. I bet, that the 300 are female rabbis from the deformed or preservative movement and other associated deviant personalities.
