Now it is in the hands of God.
2. 80% Americans sick of this crap, want CHANGE (HUSAIN Obama)

McCain = Bush = wars for Israel = recession = VERY bad for US
3. So black and white...
Felix ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (11.04.08)
What a disappointing article. I hoped for some reasoning and explanation for the decision to vote for McCain. It would have been interesting if Mrs. Ragen wouldn't fall so low and show us only the glamorous sides of McCain and only some yellow trash dirt about Obama. The main argument for McCain from Mrs. Ragen seems to be his long (very long) life history and esspecially him being the son of whomever. Its so sad to hear that someone who reflects about his decission than gets stuck in these last century kind of values e.g. what the father and grandfather and whoever did will determine McCain being a good president. I hope and think we are through with this superficial nonsense and can look and analyze the political program to make a decision not their family tree.

7. haha
(11.04.08)
Naomi Ragen voted for McCain for a simple selfish reason that he is good for zionism and israel ignoring the bad things he will bring unto the US economy and welfare.
8. Obama: They will vote for him because they have no
Connie ,   Virginia   (11.04.08)
G-d, don't really care what's best for America. That sums it up for anybody voting for him. I came out of church Sunday and a car driven by a woman which had an Obama 08 sticker on the back of it. It also had a sticker that said "come over to the dark side". On the left side it had a round one that said 'God bless the American soldier'. It showed a sketch drawing of a soldier carrying a dead or wounded soldier in his arms. To me that was offensive. Maybe when her freedoms are taken away she'll appreciate what she had.
9. As a Jew living in Canada..I feel less safe with an Obama
Al   (11.04.08)
as president of the USA. I live in a mixed community where I am in the minority. I am white- jewish my neighbours are either asian black or arab. I dont feel safe. I sense that these "people" feel that their time has come. "Stick it to the white man..He's at fault. "Its them bankers, them jews who have made us piss ass poor and stupid".. This sense of the "JEWS control America " and that America is run for the Jews, is something I hear from my fellow workers all the time. I happen to work in a Jewish company. I dont feel safe. If israel was a proud Jewish nation, I'd be there in a heartbeat. As it stands Israel is neither proud nor do I believe very Jewish . They have thrown Jews out of their homes for very poor reasons. They are doing a very poor job in protecting Jewish lives I'll have to take my chances here in Quebecstan..or I may have to move to either Ontario or Alberta. As a Jew in Quebecstan I feel that I am a second class citizen. Sure when it comes to ass licking the Jewish community for funds, the politicos are all over the map. In fact Jews in Quebecstan are very low in the totem pole. I'll have to move as have my father and mother, only they did it after having their families wiped out in Europe.
10. I voted Obama.
david ,   k_8 israel   (11.04.08)
Naomi shalom, I voted Obama. In my mind if young Americans can feel a positive change/feeling in Obama ill go with the tide. Old Jewish hippie David (captianzanax)
11. Thanks Naomi
Proud Israeli Jew ,   Israel   (11.04.08)
Yes, Virginia, there are stupid Jews - 75% of the American ones, that is. McCain is far from perfect, but Obama is frightening. Thanks for an excellent article, Naomi.
12. #2 -recent polls show Obama with 52% - what is this 80%?
redmike ,   Tel Aviv   (11.04.08)
Known communists promoted Obama and he will try to turn the country as far left as possible. http://obamafarleft.notlong.com Unemployment is set to soar if Obama wins as employers have to lay people off in order to cover additional costs and money is already leaving the US fast as investors flee the threat of an Obama victory. http://taxcredits.notlong.com/ And the writer is correct when she says that Obama concealed his past http://tiny.cc/ZzsWo I am not a big McCain fan but wouldn't consider voting for anyone that I knew so little about. Mike
13. #4:in any language, Bush=McCain=Wars 4 Israel=Bad 4 US
DA ,   USA   (11.04.08)
As 80% of American voters are likely to do, I give a big YES for Husain Obama as he might have some guts to stand up to the Jewish lobby and pull troops out of Iraq, say no to war with Iran, and stop the billions of the taxpayers money that go (very quietly) to Israel every year. Those who want war with Iran, go ahead and invade, no one is gonna stop you and we will be watching you on Fox news, America's troops aint gonna do for you this time.

because we know perfect grammer is a prerequisite for American citizenship.....your post illustrates aptly that you are clueless.
17. #8 - Connie thinks...
Andy ,   ramat hasharon   (11.04.08)
anybody who doesn't buy into her conservative Republican fundamentalist Christian view of the world, is Godless and doesn't care about what is best for America. She thinks a person with a car sticker she doesn't like cannot appreciate American freedoms. How profoundly un-American of Connie. Thank God these narrow minded, small, Carl Rove politics are about to be swept into the garbage by an American electorate that is sick to death of that nonsense. Dear Connie is about to wake up in a blue state - so hopefully she is smelling the Democratic coffee right about now. Gobama!
18. #13 - Poor DA....
Andy ,   ramat hasharon   (11.04.08)
thinks Obama is anti-Israel and will cut funds coming over here. That money doesn't go quietly - everybody knows about it and most people think it is a great investment for America. I can't wait to see the look on your face when you realize you have supported a President who will prove himself to be a great friend of Israel. And Barack is not going to let Iran go nuclear on his watch - people - like DA apparently - who think he is a big pussy in dealing with America's enemies are going to be very surprised.
19. Too little Too late.
I. Barr ,   Detroit   (11.04.08)
Naomi Reagan knows the truth. When Obama, the likely new US president, will cut Israel, Jerusalem, settlements etc. YNET and Haaretz will whine:"We supported you all the way. We published four articles daily your favor, we kissed your a**, and look what you are doing to us?" Naomi wrote similar articles beore, when it mattered, now YNET gives us their lip service by publishing an article that should have published months ago when debate had some value. Israeli media like US media where captive of Obama campaign. They had five times more money than McCain, they had automatic 14% of voters (hash hash we cannot talk about that) he bribed the electorate by promising $1000 to the "poor" , intimidated, harrassed his opponents and created election fraud by his Acorn Jugend. Don't say that you were not warned.
20. Andy, I am on my way to the

21. #17, Andy, Typical Tolerant Liberal
USA   (11.04.08)
Anyone who doesn't agree with you is an ignorant "Christian Fundie". There was a time in history when instead of the world demonizing American Christian Fundies, they were demonizing Jews.
22. naomi, the voice of sanity!
oded   (11.04.08)
mrs. reagan is one of the few voices of reason and sanity i this evergrowing seao f misguided insanity.... liberalism will destroy america, and the rest of the western civiliazation.obama is the cult- leader who will expect us all to drink his cool- aide, god forbid! if elected , it will be a very sad,sad day for america!
23. Mrs Obama...
tammy ,   usa/israel   (11.04.08)
hushed up, the feelings of Michelle Obama in her university days, could they have changed?? She was to basically to shuddup at rallys. she wasnt a fan of whites or Jews, in fact both of them have a somewhat unethical past to even think of sitting in the White house. No, Mack isnt perfect, but is any politician, and he is human, made mistakes, admitted to them, he is a real MENSCH.
24. McCain/Obama
Yoann Douieb ,   Paris, France   (11.04.08)
Naomi, I too believe McCain is a better pick. I am myself a columnist, and I've been having my eyes on this race non-stop for a year and a half. I see qualities in Obama. I truly believe he would bring a positive stance on several social issues. However, concerning Israel, there is no question on the fact that he would show a policy that has nothing to do with what people have been told. Most Jews in the US will indeed vote Democrat. Not only they do not see the threat from an Obama success, but I think that while making up their mind, they don't consider Israel as their TOP priority anymore. Eight years of Bush might have been positive to us, it was not to most. This disappointment combined with a financial turmoil that was easily used by an everything-but-impartial media to blame the conservative "laissez-faire" economy has attracted voters (including Jewish ones) into a disappointing Obama hype. You say "they want to feel like liberal Americans who read the New York Times, not ethnic outsiders." They don't seem to understand that, no matter what we want or achieve in life, people will always consider us as ethnic outsiders...
25. Racist article
Avi ,   USA   (11.04.08)
This article is disgusting. It's racist and shows how low the Republicans have sunk. In the best tradition of Stalinism, McCarthyism, and Nazism they don't attempt to address the issues but paint their opponents as enemies of the nation and the people - unpatriotic and in the service of evil foreigners. False accusations; guilt by proximity (not even association); every conjecture they can get their hands on. If a gentile would have written a similar piece replacing “Black” with “Jew”, he would have been crucified as an anti-Semite. However, double standards are not longer a surprise in the Republican ideology.
26. I voted OBAMA
EM ,   Ra'anana   (11.04.08)
I am surprised at you Naomi...for assuming that Obama will be bad for Israel because of some of the people he associates with. He also has close advisors who are Jewish...but I doubt if it means he is laying tefillim. I was also a young girl when Kennedy was elected...and I remember the fear expressed by my parents and their Jewish friends regarding the Pope taking over America if he wins. I am surprised at you because in your novels...and plays, you express such a deep understanding for people who struggle to overcome stereotypes and the bigotry in their societies and show how it makes them even better people. Yet it seems you cannot see beyond Obama's Muslim father, though he himself is a Christian and you accuse American Jews who vote for him as "having no God" and apparenly no mind since they'll only vote for him so they can "feel" like liberal Americans - not because they agree with his message. Stereotypes are broken all the time!
27. #13: U r right, Jewish lobby in control, Obama won't do much
DA ,   USA   (11.04.08)
28. McCain
M. Hartley ,   Atlanta, US   (11.04.08)
I'm on my way out of the door to vote for McCain. Did I not have that piece of paper that certifies me as a citizen, no telling what I could be called based on my heritage and background. As it is, I'm no longer any of those things. I am simply and until the day I die an American. Someone in Israel and as a joke sent me the picture of a synagogue sign showing the request to "Vote for the Shvartzeh." Being handy with the computer, I, also as a joke, sent back my own picture: "Vote for the old, pale-faced goy and that Eskimo shiksa." We'll see which sign worked the best :-) Although I have no religious affilitation, I do ask the Creator to bless all of us.
29. #21 - Wrong ....
Andy ,   ramat hasharon   (11.04.08)
Christian "fundies" who are tolerant of others are find with me....but in Connie's world anybody who doesn't agree with her is Godless. I am tolerant ... of other tolerant people.
30. #20 - LOL!
Andy ,   ramat hasharon   (11.04.08)
You should vote for McCain if he's the better candidate in your opinion. But that doesn't mean Obama supporters are "Godless" or don't have America's best interests at heart. That brand of politics is on its way out in America.
