31. Why Left hate Feiglin
Mike ,   Haifa   (12.10.08)
He was against Oslo. He was against eviction from Gaza. He was against Arafat. He was against the death of 2,000 Jews. THAT IS THE REASON THEY HATE HIM>
32. demanding arab loyalty is reasonable
mike ,   israel (formerly usa   (12.10.08)
however if he thinks that all arabs can pray on temple mount, he doesn't have a clue about what he is saying.
33. #9, observer, depends if you are a racist
David ,   Boston, USA   (12.10.08)
Hamas charter calls for killing Jews. I dont know of any Jewish or Israeli organization that calls for killing others. So if you dont have any morals or are a racist, I guess you dont see the difference. Hamas is racist and has no morals, unlike Jews and Judaism.
34. Interesting, I'd like to know more about Feiglin
David ,   Boston, USA   (12.10.08)
Some promising things he is saying, but if he is more about poltical speak and less about action, whats the difference.
35. #20, Salime from Jerusalem ISRAEL
David ,   Boston, USa   (12.10.08)
The Muslims occupying the Temple Mount desecrate the Holy of Holies on a daily basis. You throw away our history like trash. You are worse than the Romans. No respect. When you leave the Temple Mount, there can be peace. Respect what isnt yours. Personally, I do not believe anyone should be allowed there, not Feigins opinion that everyone should be allowed. Having Muslims desecrate the Holy of Holies is bad enough.
36. "English person" spouts the usual ignorance
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, DC USA   (12.10.08)
"English" calls for the Israeli public to be "re-educated in the legal niceties of what belongs to people and what doesn't." FYI, Israeli claims to the West Bank and Golan are rooted in the League of Nations Mandate for Palestine, which remains in force. Moreover, established international law also confirms the right of a nation to retain territories captured in a defensive war, and the Six Day War fits that definition. UNSC 242 does *not* require that Israel surrender all the captured territories, but *does* entitle it to "secure and recognized borders". As to the "stolen land, stolen houses" that "do not belong to Israel", I don't see you standing up on behalf of those Jews, expelled from Arab lands, who had their land, houses, businesses and wealth stolen.
37. To english #16
PW ,   Virginia USA   (12.10.08)
You obviously have never read a history book, nor looked beyond your prejudices...The Golan was stolen by the British, carved out of the Palestine Mandate and given,Illegally, to the Syrians to pull them away from the French. The Only program of ethnic cleansing was the destruction of the Jewish quarter in Jerusalem by the Jordanians. Finally I ask you, Who started shooting at whom first? Answer that and all booty questions are answered....
38. Feiglin is delusional and so is much of commentaries here.
John ,   Europe   (12.10.08)
I bet you guys NEVER led anything bigger than a house hold or firm up to 10 employess, eh? Feiglin certainly didn't. This is politics and is TOP politics, what means that changes not only Middle East, it changes the world. So, expresions like "But it is written by G-d!" and "Moshe told me that" and "I saw that in my dreams" should be left for familiy meatings. I will explain in the end why I wrote this, but let's see what happens if Feiglin ever gets his aggenda and why is Bibi more inteligent than he. 1) You agree to give Palestinians a limited soveregnity in Judea and Samaria, and all for sudden, you come there and take it back, saying "Sorry, guys, we changed our minds, you are no longer Palestinians, the story that you have been fed up to for the last 50 years is from monday morning at 8 no longer valid, now everybody shout: "Viva la Israel!" And you expect that they will say, "Why, yes, sure, you said Monday 8 o'clock? No problemo! We are trowing a party at sunday evening and in monday evening for death of the last and birth of the new state, wanna come? Just bring your own drinks, you see we don't do alcohol!" So if he want to annex Judea and Samaria, and Gaza, then enthnic clensing is the only way he can secure that no street killings take place. 2) If he does that, maybe he will have eternal gratituted of all rabbis who will maybe even proclaim him as a massiah, but he will have ALL arab states in his back. In case he didn't pay attention, the only reason why Iran and Saudia will not put a plug on American oil is the simple fact that USA is promising them that they will make Israel move away from Judea and Samaria. Arab states will see this not only as betrail of "Zionist devils", but also a betrial of American promise. And if somebody thinks that WASP will have support - not after Bush! Worst case scenario: they UNITE, putting away they shiite-sunite differences, for a SINGLE OPERATION: cut short oil supply to America, in OPEC agreement. Russia plays along, knowing that that means more money for her, what in terms means aquisitions of big companies, what in term means holding USA for their balls. America screams under post-crisis era (yes, this one) and trades Israel for oil. After all - why shouldn't they? It is easier to deal with 6 milion Jews (most of whom will seclude themselves from annexion anyway and from ethnic cleansing afterwards) then to deal with wrath of wealthy arab sheiks and some statesmen with armies.

nate ,   Canada   (12.10.08)
just because your point is well articulated, doesn't mean it is correct. in fact, you are completely wrong on basically everything you said. go re-educate YOURSELF.
40. #20 Don't worry, we won't
Yerushalmi ,   Jerusalem   (12.10.08)
Al Aqsa, or furthest mosque, mentioned in qoran is in saudi arabia. But that blue and yellow pimple will go. It is discussting, looks like a wedding cake, with all that marzipan... I would like to eat it, but I don't want it on my hometowns skyline. It is too kitchy. It ruins the vista of a beautiful city, and makes it look like a bordello. http://www.danielpipes.org/article/281
41. Whose next?
Paul ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (12.10.08)
Be careful Moshe, anyone that differs from the secular Israeli Elite that bows to the EU, the US, the Pope, and the UN will get Shabak to creatively find a way to remove you. Ever notice that apart from Rabin every assassination has been of a right winger?
42. Feiglin makes a lot of sense
David ,   Toronto, Canada   (12.10.08)
What is so radical about teaching national pride, the need to teach our history to our children and the demand that all citizens (including arabs) take an oath of loyalty to their country? That is what every other country in the world demands of its citizens.
43. Continuing and closing
John ,   Europe   (12.10.08)
3) Did I mention that this is the moment Iran takes the lead, cause all he "predicted" was true - that Israel does all to annex Judea and Samaria and that with "Zionist regime" cannot be negotiations. They take the sindrom of "I told you so" politicians (what means that if a person predicts something, and you do not believe him, after this happens, his reputation as a leader goes up and his next prediction is taken extremly seriously and acted acordinlgy). Result: Iran calls for armed jihhad, direclty, not with ambigous statemens like now. Israel screams with labels of antisemitism, what looses its effect - Israel is the one who pulled the first blood. So, what is the result? Why, Israel left to itself, but this time WITHOUT possibility to get military help afterwards (all Middle Eastern warrs show the same pattern: Arabs attack, Israel defends, but is depleted, and USA and friendly states send their aid in weapons: you don't believe, check the figures). All Arabs have to do is launch ANOTHER attack, and even if second fails, ANOTHER, as long as Israel exists. So what is the only possibility for Israel to survive in these circumstances. Nukes, of course. What means direct retaliation of Arab states and unknown number of nukes in them (don't tell me that in days of chaos of fall of SSSR they didn't aquire any?), or worse - preemtive attack of Israel's allies to destroy or incapacitate Israeli nuclear arsenal. After all, if Israel drops 10 nukes (and that's the minimum, count the cities you have to target), that SEVERELY damages Earth. And I can guarantee that even Burkina Faso will not stand and calmly watch that. 4) I don't want to predict what will happen to galut synagogues and communities. Wave of violence is best case scenario. Their response: scream of antisemitism (a label loses its power since it is Israel that pulled the first move, so domicile states will not much persecute the perpetrators and arsenites of synagogues), transition to Israel to meet their faith with Israelies or renouncement of their faith and status (a new Annusim era possible for lattest). SO: Israel's ONLY chance is status quo as long as it is humanly possible, and whatever means possible to integrate Arabs in Israel, so they BY THEM SELVES drop the idea of Palestinian state. And how is that? By punishing "settlers" (who come from America filled with money and cowboy attitude), by giving cultural authonomies, by letting from time to time some number of Palestinian prisoners etc. In that way, you can even launch occasional attacks on Gaza to sweep through Hamas ranks while playing on more "moderate" Palestinians in Judea and Samaria. Sorry, but you are between rock and a hard place, and if you move in any of directions, what Feiglin wants, you are in BAAAD position. That's why Bibi is pushing him away - he might be ass in something, but Bibi is down-to-earth politician. Oh, yes, let's just explain why I started with words I did: in case there will be comments saying "But this is our Torah given right", let me remind them that there is only cca 6 milion people believing that Torah is only true Word (yeah, surprise, not even all Jews believe that!) but that there is SIGNIFICANAT number on the other side that eather think that Torah is not genuine or, specially in politics and science, think that Torah is antiquated, old story telling manual for kids. In other words, they don't give a damn what is written in 2.500 years old book and certainly will not allow that it conducts modern politics. I am a believer, but I am VERY real when it comes to international and human relations. My credentials: I'm a manager in a firm of 2.500 people and have 100 directly under me - I know what means to compromise every day. And I have M.A. in international politics.
44. #14 - #8 is right!
Dudu   (12.10.08)
Switzerland became a UN member in 2002. It doesn't matter how long it took them to become members. The fact is, the country is CURRENTLY a UN member. Feiglin should've known this. What an ignorant!
45. ARAB CITIZENS
ISRAEL FOREVER ,   BET SHEMESH   (12.10.08)
ARABS BELONG IN HELL. KICK THEM OUT, THEY DO NOT BELONG HERE AND CERTAINLY SHOULD NOT HAVE CITIZENSHIP OF THE STATE OF ISRAEL.
46. TO THE ENGLISH PE(R)SON # 16
FO ,   Belgium   (12.10.08)
Before teaching others about legal niceties, try to learn some facts about the subject before opening your mouth about stolen land and withdrawal from "occupied territories". If there is still an ounce of sincerity left in you, than read the following. The MANDATE OF PALESTINE voted the 22th of July 1922 by the LEAGUE OF NATIONS, unanimously by all the 51 members and joined by a 52nd nation, the US, who was not a member of the League, gave the Jewish People the IRREVOCABLE RIGHT to settle anywhere in Palestine, the erea between the Jordan River and the Mediterranenan Sea, including the Golan Heights, a right unaltered in INTERNATIONAL LAW, and valid to this day, due to ARTICLE 80 of the CHARTER of the UN. Your country, Britain, the Mandatory, betrayed the Jewish People as well as the League of Nations, ceding the Golan Heights to France, the Mandatory of Syria, and closing Palestine's borders almost totally for Jewish immigration when Hitler started his "final solution". This British attitude, in total breach with the decisions of the LEAGUE, made your country, unfotunatelly, a collaborator of Nazi Germany, in the extermination of European Jewry. No thanks, ENGLISH PE(R)SON whatsoever, for this short lesson.
47. I have the most optimistic thoughts to Feiglin!
Keren ,   Israel-SP   (12.10.08)
I wish he comes very quickly to be at our side in the Knesset,as PM as soon as possible, and to fight for us!!! I look forward to see Israel,People and Land,in G´od´s track and in G ´od ´s will!! I LOOK FORWARD FOR IT!!!!I LOOK FORWARD IT TO BE IT NOW!!!!
48. Nice to hear some common sense
Matityahu ,   Slovenia   (12.10.08)
coming from the mouth of a politician. A real rarity these days.
49. John, Europe #38
Steve ,   U.S.   (12.10.08)
No one is denying that Benjamin Netanyahu is an intelligent, knowledgeable and a capable political leader. At least I am not denying his ability. All we are suggesting is Feiglin be given a seat and a voice in the Knesset; the very thing Mr. Netanyahu appears eager to deny. Why? Mr. Netanyahu apparently feels threatened by a man of principle and conviction. Netanyahu is trying to stifle Feiglin's ability to grow and mature as a young politician. There was a time Netanyahu was also a young, growing politician. Who stood in Netanyahu's way? Benjamin Netanyahu appears petty and small-minded in my opinion. He is not looking out for the welfare of his people in this respect. I might suggest you be more of a man and not the sort of European we are accustomed to. Don't be a European who is little and cowardly. Don't be so fearful of the jihadist enemy that wants to break the back of the west. You are making yourself look the role of a weak European John. This is not to your credit.
50. John #38/43: Is That Your Best Shot?
Brana Lobel ,   Israel   (12.10.08)
51. Well done Yediot
Feig-In-Noz ,   Tel Aviv   (12.10.08)
In interviewing this man you have done a national service, produced as clear a statement of what the future contains with this man's hands anywhere near the levers of power. There are three comments to add - first that Ynet had a piece yesterday about the ultra orthodox amongst us and the threat they pose in wishing to "take over from within". Now we know who their leader is. Secondly I love the way Bibi is carrying on as if Feiglin at number 20 on his list is such a disaster. Bibi should stop crying wolf. This man says what Bibi believes. Third beware an extreme right winger who sounds a logical note - on anything. Its a trap.
52. Feiglin's right about Arabs, they need to be loyal to vote
Sarit ,   Israel   (12.10.08)
53. i will vote for him
Arab supporter ,   west bank   (12.10.08)
very controversal figure ,will be a lot of instability and fighting between palestinians and israelis ...therefore ..less alyia....people will start spitting on you in the US(just like what they do in Europe now ) ... how can you go wrong with that ....bring him on .
54. contradicting himself
another arab support ,   west bank   (12.10.08)
he wants a jewish state ..but the Rabbi can't do politics .. his answers about the state borders are halarious .. and he is asking for our loyalty ....our loyalty to the state that expelled us and our fathers ... it is like him giving loyalty to Rome who expelled his forfathers . the more we hear about the fellow ,the more we find him great for the palestinians PR mashine ... my advise too him is to re-run sharon's tricks and realise that it doesn't work .. i add my voice ....good for us ..bad for you .
55. Evreything makes sense
Shmuel ,   shomron   (12.10.08)
56. What happened? This is not the Kahanist Feiglin I knew.
Vaydeem ,   LA   (12.11.08)
I am still very happy for Feiglin and Israel but shocked-this man always supported transfer of Rabbi Kahane's Kach. Why is he turning back on his policies? Shmuel Sackett-his colleague-is a full Kahanist! Why!? And no Halacha state? Feiglin supports a "Jewish Israel" with "Jewish Values." Kahane Tzadak
57. #53 - don't worry, you're being spitted on everywhere!
The Doc ,   Haifa, Israel   (12.11.08)
Scandinavia, EU, USA and, not surprisingly in almost all Arab countries... so let's say you are still outnumbering us in the "spitting popularity vote"! Somehow you manage to get yourselves hated the more you try to dictate your primitive habits and way of living everywhere you pollute the surroundings, instead of integrating and embracing the cultures which (stupidly) accepted you as guests (disguised as "refugees"). So yes, keep on with your Jihad and terrorism and you'll encounter more and more resistance and hatred. Don't be encouraged by the stupid media. People see that the media does not reflect the truth anymore. It is hard to accept that Palestinians and Arabs are people which need help and are peace-loving when they riot, bully, murder, terrorize and burn embassies. KEEP ON BURNING and you'll BURN YOURSELF!
58. How come
(12.11.08)
Most of the Jewish people around the world are more loyal to Israel than to the countries they live in it , so how you can ask the Arabs to be loyal to the people who stolen their lands .... you even couldn't protect them from your vulgar settlers .
59. Vaydeem , LA #56
Steve ,   US   (12.11.08)
You want a Halacha state? What would your Halacha state look like? Why are you living in LA and not in Jerusalem?
60. Feiglin will be the thorn in Bibi's side that will keep him
