Thank you for all your efforts. We appreciate what you have done. Try to keep up the good work.
2. Well done Brits
Kol od Balevav ,   Israel   (01.11.09)
We heard that the London Underground was packed with us Jews, all travelling to this great event. Eat your hearts out Lennox and losers. Arab hoodlums, go get lost. Or hide behind innocent helpless kids like your Hamas low life mates do, cowards.
3. ray of light and hope
Ilana   (01.11.09)

We appreciate it.
5. Being jewish doesnt mean we have to take any notice
zionist forever   (01.11.09)
When they finish protesting these jews go home relax in front of the tv and enjoy the day and won't hear a single air raid alert telling them to get to bomb shelters in the next 30 seconds. They see planes and tanks have the BBC tell them how many arabs have now been killed and think that they need to go out and demand Israel unconditionaly end this war. Let these jews spend a couple of weeks in Sderot, Ashkelon or Beersheva lets see what banners they will be waving then, will they still be so desperate to show solidarity for Hamas?
6. Peace 4 Israel, Peace 4 Gaza, Peace off Hamas

Birdi ,   Israel   (01.11.09)
Whoa !! at least you can show appreciation that the pro-Israeli supporters in London are showing us & the IDF their support instead of showing us apathy. Give them a break will you.
8. sadly londoners
gali ,   israel   (01.11.09)
hamas has no intrests in peace, they want to destroy israel and the rest of the world in turn. so pro hamas dont come crying to us when the s@#$ hits the london eye cause by then it will be too late. suckers
9. No tear gas needed, unlike with Pro-Pal violent rallies
(01.11.09)
10. The Gaza People Suffering? What About The Jews?
Brana Lobel ,   Israel   (01.11.09)
All well and good that these British Jews are out in number but they seem not to have absorbed one of the first lessons in Judaism: you owe most allegiance first to those closest to you: family, community, country plus Erez Yisrael which is a special case as it is our homeland. Did these Jews come out and march for Sderot and Ashkelon? Don't they look below the surface of any news source or check out the Internet? Or are they concerned about Arab retaliation? I consider this a half-hearted and actually unJewish march. Hamas is a terrorist group that the people in Gaza voted in. Let these marchers weep after Hamas has been wiped out. Meanwhile our boys fighting need our 100% support.
11. To 5 , Zionist forever
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (01.11.09)
And what are you doing exept writing here ? Do you live in Sderot , Ashkelon or another bombed place ? Did they show solidarity with hamas ?
12. zionist forever. You are right. however-
uk   (01.11.09)
You fight for us in Israel and we fight for you outside Israel.
13. British Jews Should Keep Quiet
Lawrence ,   Safed Israel   (01.11.09)
They would perhaps be better off staying out of this conflict. They can not really understand unless they have been to Sderot ,for example, and they are too weak and distant to be of any use. They should do what they can to protect their own community ,Israel can well take care of itself. As for their cries for "Peace" ,this sort of thing is what got Israel in to such a mess in the first place.
14. Press Headlines?
philip ,   Canada   (01.11.09)
Can someone please tell me why when Muslims march against Israel and for terrorism the headlines read: People march for Hamas or crowds march against gaza op. When the rally is pro Israel the headlines read: Jews march for Israel. Surely there are a couple of non jews that are in the march as well, n'est pas?
15. What about Man U.?
Benjamin ,   California, USA   (01.11.09)
Where are the demonstrations against Manchester United relentless attacks on poor, defenseless Chelsea?
16. decency
Nellie ,   Canada   (01.11.09)
Bravo for the dignity and decency expressed in this rally. I am proud to be Jewish and, in childhood, Israeli. Israel is fighting a defensive war. Sad to say, but so too are most of the world's 13 million Jews.

Nellie ,   Canada   (01.11.09)
I'm not sure what you're talking about. Nobody here mentioned sympathy or solidarity with Hamas. The wish for peace is not synonymous with solidarity with Hamas or even with being against this war. I'd like there to be peace, for instance, but I think this is an entirely necessary war and would have been fought at some point. Better that it be at a point of Israel's choosing.
18. I´d like to see this in Spain.
Roberto Gutierrez ,   Madrid, Spain   (01.11.09)
It´s a shame that we can´t see this kind of demonstrations in my country. Anyway, you can be sure that here in Spain there are a lot of people who understand and support Israel in this war against terror. All my support and solidarity to Israel from Madrid. The message is clear: don´t let Hamas win this war. You are not alone, and you will never be alone.
19. Nu? Pick a side!
(01.11.09)
Thanks, Brits. You've got the right spin....sorta. People see the violent, name-calling protests for Hamas...they see Israeli, British and American flag burning and calls to terror as vengeance on all of those countries, despite all of their supportive tongue-wagging. By contrast, the Pro-Israel contingency is squarely blaming Hamas (not the Palestinians - although that's a REAL long-shot) and saying that they want peace for all, including their host country, showing their allegiance to both by singing the anthems. In the PR war, it's a smart move. Those calling for Israel to stop it's routing out of Hamas are traitors and turning the rally into the opposite of its intended mark and probably making most of those assembled wish they could shut them the hell up. We have enough of that crap from the rest of the world. At a pro-Israel rally...don't F it up pretend to represent the crowd...when you can just join the folks across the street in the counter protest.
