It seems that the UN has clearly overlooked the fact that Hamas did block the exits out of cities, leaving the civilans trapped, and that they failed to inform Gazans of incoming airstrikes. Hamas does not value human life, and their thought would be "the more civilans killed, the better" because that way everyone in the world, people and organisations such as the United Nations would have a go at Israel. As for mental anguish suffered by the people of Gaza, it seems very clear to me that a lot of people, and these organisations don't seem to know or care about the mental anguish suffered by the residents of places like Sderot, where for the last eight years they have heard nothing but air raid sirens, and been forced into bomb shelters on a day to day basis. While the physical damage is not a lot to both property and people, it is the psychological factor, which there would be some people who know nothing but the sounds of air raid sirens and being rushed into cover. Tonight on french tv (France 2), a documentary where we saw a 15 years old palestinian girl, whose father and brothers were killed in an israeli bombing.
