I thought I read this was an non-political fundraiser to HELP victims (not depending on who one thinks were to blame for their ill-fate, but to seriously CARE for the victims themselves). Now it has turned into a political circus. Poor Gazans. Their fate hi-jacked from all sides so everyone can make their own political agenda over their backs. Shame on everybody doing so!

Those pictures CAN'T be compared , only disturbed brains can associate people waiting for their death , and people waiting to be checked at a border , people humiliated because being Jewish , and potentially suicide bombers being controlled . And you forget the major fact , we DON't want to exterminate the Palestinians .

The Germans voted for the Nazis in 1933 and got collectively punished for that (see photo of Dresden 1945) The Palestinians voted for Hamas and got collectively punished in 2008/9. If they hav'nt learned the lesson they-ll get a repetition I'm sure. Do not send Palestinians money , their leaders ara thievs. Let the Arabs who planned the mess alredy from 1948 on pay the bill.

Noa was wrong to participate in the event. And she was right to write the letter. How disgusting for Israelis to take part in a fund raising form Gaza Hamas supporters. (stop with your BS that they don't support Hamas. There was an election and there is no opposition even now.) It is better for Israelis to dump the Arabs and start dealing with our own problems and our own people.

I agree with Noa. Emotionally I feel that a leadership which is not putting the well being of it's citizens first is not that valid. It does not matter how they came into power. Now Gazans may be thinking differently in some way or maybe there is something religious about it. For example we are somewhat limited in options of what we can do if not liking a leader, somewhat because of religious reasons and ideas of structure and such, however under the US law it is different. The ideas of government and religion get complicated. I think that it would help me to understand, if they would explain the reasoning of this.

As much as I enjoy Noa's music, she is way too left for me and this turns me off and would probably keep me from going to her concerts/buying her music anymore. However, what's funny is that even these lefties consider her way to right wing. She is very mistaken anyway in her letter to Gaza. The Gazan's voted for Hamas en mass so why is she writing them that she "knows" they want to get rid of Hamas. In Psychological terms she is projecting what she thinks onto the Palestinians but the opposite is true. They mostly love Hamas and support them as do most Arabs. Probably Mira Awad doesn't and Noa probably thinks the Gazans think just like Mira Awad but they don't.
