31. AMEN #8 , MAY THEY FULFILL THE PROPHESIES SOONER AND PERISH
..............DACON9   (01.30.09)
32. #7 - Dream on Mohanned....
Andy ,   ramat hasharon   (01.30.09)
then learn how to spell your own name. We achieved alot. Militarily, we showed that if you are going to rocket us from apartment buildings, schools and mosques, that is where we will kill you - with regret to civilian causalties - but we will not allow our citizens to be attacked. We are willing and more than able to beat the Hamas in an urban setting with very little casualties on the Israeli side. We also got quiet on our southern border with that toilet known as the Gaza Strip. Diplomatically, we now have agreements with the US and France to become actively involved in preventing the Hamas from rearming. We have a US president who is now here, on the scene to negotiate peace with whoever demonstrates that as their true intent, with an envoy who understands our need to respond to your attacks and who will not even speak to the Hamas indirectly. And we don't care who marches in Europe against us, calls us baby killers on the internet and other filthy lies, tries to sue us in Spain - we don't care. We still showed we will protect ourselves. NOTHING you say? Hardly. Now if you return Sgt. Shalit and show a desire for compromise with us then you too can win. Otherwise, clean up your rubble, bury your dead, get ready for more lives of misery and STFU.
33. Ed, all enemies of the Jewish people *are* such idiots.
(01.30.09)
ed (#3) in new york writes, "All enemies of the Jewish people should be such idiots." In what Wafa Sultan calls the clash between civilization and barbarism, Hamas is on the side of the barbarians. Their thinking is not like ours, their morality is not like ours. For Hamas, like Hizbullah, simple survival is victory. But look who they had on their side: Iran, Syria, the Arab street, most of the UN and EU leadership, Turkey, the left wing and Muslims of Europe. All standing against Israel, the nation that "dwells alone".
34. Yes & My Shtrongol Is One Meter Long
Seth ,   Washington, DC   (01.30.09)
35. Neither Israel nor Hams win the battle
Shaalan J ALDhafair ,   SA   (01.30.09)
No winner because the Purpose for this war to the israeli side "as they said before" was to stop rocket and destroy hamas force. Achievement Zero. Hamas was defending them self so no victory for the diffenders. that was in the battle field but out of the battle field the winner will be declared and easy to be recognized very soon which of both sides. I mean the poltical win .unfortunately the losers in the battle fields were the civilians at both sides.
36. ITS GOOD. HAMAS "VICTORY" WILL ALLOW THEM TO MAKE PEACE.
NERO ,   nyc   (01.30.09)
IN THE ARAB MIND A VICTORY IS A PSYCHOLOGICAL OPENING TO MAKE PEACE WITH THE ENEMY. WITHOUT VICTORY IT IS DISHONORABLE TO TALK OF PEACE.
37. Hey Iranis , don't forget to send our salary
gil ,   city of davis israel   (01.30.09)
We are alive and ready to restart to work for you , Great Ayatollahs !! Do not forget our modest 50 millions $ a month . We are strong terrorists, the problem we need to terrorize civilans . so please send some more rockets (as these israeli destryed most of what you send us) so we can work for you until the last liter of palestian blood Ps think also about the small financial compensation, as we spent 1 month underground like rats for your merveillous 4th Persian Reich Heil ahmadijad
38. #28
j   (01.30.09)
did somebody surgically remove your ability to spot sarcasm? "rashid"... yeah. you must be the brains of the operation.
39. hamas won and israel won but gazans lost
isooo ,   Gaza, palestine   (01.30.09)
israel made hamas to kill fateh (P.L.o) and after hamas killed fateh now israel suffering from hamas like gazian suffering from hamas and israel.
40. no one won, definitly not Hamas
Rami of Nazareth ,   Israel   (01.30.09)
41. Kadima allowing Hamas to continue to get weapons from Iran
Seth ,   tel aviv israel   (01.30.09)
Kadima is allowing the 2,000 smuggling tunnels to continue to bring arms from iran to hamas. Hamas is getting long range rockets now from iran. Kadima wouldn't allow ground troops in rafah to destroy the tunnels or use bunker buster bombs. Kadima wouldn't send in ground troops to gaza city to destroy all the rockets in the bunkers there. Kadima wouldn't send in ground troops to take hamas leaders out in the bunkers in gaza city. Hamas was able to fire rockets from tunnels in gaza city. Kadima doesn't understand how hamas has built an underground city. Kadima now wants to give hamas 1,000 prisoners and open crossings.
42. al hayas victory
mohd rafik al hind ,   khan yunis, Gaza cit   (01.30.09)
yes brother, you won. you are alive. But why am I not able to celebrate your victory? Is it because i have no future? Our victory (may Allah be praised) is divine, but why do my brothers still suffer? I want to live my life desently, not a winner, but to be able to make a living and feed my children.
43. Are Gazans so dumb???
Natan   (01.30.09)
Are they so stupid to believe the nonesense from their "leaders" . 1300 hundred dead, 4000 injured, thousands of homes damaged\destroyed, no food, no medicine, very limited electricity and on and on and on....and you call it victory????you need your heads examined!!!!
44. Let's 'debunker' this
Lenny ,   London - UK   (01.30.09)
So the great leader emerged from his bunker to tell the world that Hamas won. Yeah. Right! Now he'll go back to his bunker to continue hiding. Great victory that!
45. Hamas-We won Crap
Brod ,   USA   (01.30.09)
Hamas perverted victory is among the ruins and piles of crumbled concrete and steel rods. A mind like this shows how insane they are.
46. Muzel tov Hamas on such a victory....
meg ,   Israel   (01.30.09)
you are really to be congratulated for hiding in a bunker, allowing your people to suffer. How long will it take to clear up the rubble????? Is your house still standing? Also you win another prize, being the biggest BS artist next to Nashralla. come on you ditz, if thats victory, what the hell is defeat!
47. #42 - Mohd - you will never live any kind of life....
Andy ,   ramat hasharon   (01.30.09)
as long as you characterize what the Hamas did as a "divine victory." You are the problem. The rockets from your apartment buildings, schools and mosques are the problem. Your election and continued support of the Hamas is the problem. Your failure to take to the streets and march for peace and compromise with us is the problem. Keep on living like you do and you will have more of what you have now: poverty, misery, death and no future for your children.
48. Gaza boarders.
meg ,   Israel   (01.30.09)
Israel has said Gaza's border crossings will not be opened until Shalit is returned. AND STICK TO IT!!!!!
49. Arab victory? Inch Allah!
Alexander ,   Herzliya, Israel   (01.30.09)
But how can we speak of a "Palestinian" victory when they were bombed to the stone age, "Palestine" is a Roman/Latin name for Israel (are Arabs claiming to be Romans?) and when the letter "p" doesn't exist in Arabic? PfpfpfpfpffffffffFalastine!!!! That's right: Falastine. But the few Philisteenes that survived King David of Israel were finished off by Sargon II of Assyria so Philisteenes have been dead for at least 2500 years. And they came from Crete - the Greek Archipelago. So are Arabs saying that they are 2500 year old dead man speaking Greek but originating in Arabia? Hell yeah! It makes perfect sense!
50. I wish Hamas many more victories like this one
Ran ,   Israel   (01.30.09)
stupid gazans
51. Welcome to the Arab culture based on fantasies and
David ,   USA   (01.30.09)
innuendos. How do you negotiate anything with the people who pretend to live in a dream and repeat the lies so many times that in their mind it becomes a reality?
52. Unfortunate truths
Ellen ,   Israel/USA   (01.30.09)
As much as it pains me to write this--in many ways Hamas did win. Let's see. a. they are dictating the terms of a cease fire! b. Shalit is still a prisoner c. the world condemns Israel d. Despite propaganda to the cntrary there seems to be money in Gaza, coffee shops, food, computers etc. etc Now they say they will hold an 18 month cease-fire!! Look at the weapons collected in 6 months. I am terrified of what they will collect in 18. The tunnel structure will be more expansive and it will be that much more dangerous for the IDF to enter. G-d save us from Israeli fools who seem to be doing their best to harm the State of Israel
53. It's really a win...
Lobo ,   USA   (01.30.09)
When Hamas leaders in Gaza beg for IAF to stop... B.S.
54. This is the Israeli challenge. The Jews are dealing with
Bill ,   USA   (01.30.09)
those who from the Jewish perspective make no sense whatsoever. However, DO NOT, DO NOT underestimate the enemies. They only want us to believe they are crazy. They are not. The very fact that the Hamastanis are hiding in the bunkers is a goog proof that they don't want to die.
55. hamas=losers!
oded   (01.30.09)
anyway you look at it... total devastaion, kill ratio of 100"""civilians(=hamas terrorists without their miltary fatigue)"", several ""high -end leaders(that's a joke) killed... ahhmmm , what am i missing? oh, yeh, the other ""leaders"" are holed up in thier bunkers like the cowerds they are....
56. We Won!
Eli ,   Israel   (01.30.09)
Sure looks like he won. He stayed in the shelter and let the poor people of Gaza take the brunt of it. Hamas may have won, but the people of Gaza lost. May Allah have mercy on them so they don't have to atone for the leaders they picked.
57. GMAFB!! LOL ROTFLMAO!
emanon ,   USA   (01.30.09)
58. Congratulations Israel. You won
Mohamad ,   USA   (01.30.09)
Winning is succeeding in achieving goals. If the goals of Israel were to destroy Hamas then obviously it failed miserably. If on the other hand ,they were to destroy the poor Gazan infrastructure and kill innocent people, then I guess Israel won . So, Congratulations.
59. How come Hezbollah didn't join in for more such victories?
Sam ,   Canada   (01.30.09)
How many victories like this do Hamas and Hezbollah think that the Arab people will so enthusiastically join in for? I think we got the answer when Hezbollah didn't join in to help Hamas. In fact, neither did Syria or the big mouths in Iran. This is the Age of Destruction and if the Arabs don't want to see it then time for a genuine compromise.
60. emerges out of bunker
Talula ,   Israel   (01.30.09)
to talk a load of crap <- should have been the title. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA what an Idiot HA HA HA HA HA HA HA - he was hiding in his bunker. C O W A R D !!!!
