Lets see now. Over 1300 Palestinians were killed and was it 13 or 14 Israelis? Gaza is in ruins and the Hamas rocket fire on Israel was largely ineffective. There is now an international effort to end the arms smuggling into Gaza which was not happening before. So in what way did Hamas win?

If the IDF had been allowed to run things their way and election politics and stupidity on the part of our government and their unconditional ceasefire they turned what could have been a great victory thanks to the IDF into a loss, possibly an even worse loss politicly than the Lebanon disaster.
