Lieberman, I believe that I am correct in saying thats he wants to bring in civil marriage. This really has me worried as it would mean that the thousands of Russians who claim to be Jews will now be able to marry whoever they want in Israel as well as allowing anyone to marry anyone, of the opposite sex without allowing the Rabbi their slice of the cake. Doesn't anyone have any idea of the dire consequences of this act. Besides the Rabbis losing out so will the tour operators who organize weddings in such places as Prague and Cyprus. Not only that but an important source of Shekels will be cut off to the town halls of these far flung places. I'm all for it, but really that is his only good idea that I would trust. Sorry if this doesn't fit here but I simply can't find the article to which I was replying .

I'm severely bothered by all the "criticism = you hate israel" lies. Simple associations such as these limit discussion and stiffle NORMAL development. Are you supposed to blindly follow what opportunistic politicians are doing? Grow a backbone. Criticism is harder than being a sheep. Also, it does not mean you don't love your country, and it doesn't mean you want to move. Stop using such cheap, fallacious logic.
