Livni is trying to be Machiavellian, but has not the intellect, political savvy, prowess, or indeed influence that the media have made her believe she actually has. However, Mofaz will now rejoin Likud (as defense minister) and take 10 Kadima members with him. Kadima and Labour will eventually merge and Tzippi wil never become prime minister.
