31. Family will sue, cry and write a play
Elly ,   Vienna, Austria   (03.13.09)
The family will sue, cry and write an off, off Broadway play that will be a hit in Londonstan, Malmostan and Oslostan.
32. #28 get real
(03.13.09)
Imagine a foreign national participating in a violent riot in the United States. The American police would teach him a lesson including boots, tazers and clubs that would have him begging to be hit in the head with a tear gas cannister. But the fun would really begin when he would be put in a jail cell...
33. I blame Israel!
jv ,   LA, USA   (03.14.09)
Why do you allow those ISM creeps into, or to travel through, your country? They are there for no good and only want to harm the Israeli people. Kick them out!
34. hatefilled comments..
ocean ,   Hayward United State   (03.14.09)
Just who reads this internet paper?? After reading the comments, I found many many racist comments against palestinians and outside people who try and help them. If you don't want outside intruders then give us back out Millions in military aid and our rockets, guns, tanks and nuclear weapons. We could use the money to help our OWN economy and leave YOU to take care of your own!!! ALONE
35. Got what he deserved
Steve   (03.14.09)
Anyone who is part of a mob that throws stones at IDF soldiers and Magav officers, who are risking their lives to protect Israel, deserves to get hurt. This man was in a closed military zone. The ISM knows perfectly well that it is illegal to enter a closed military zone. The whole lot of them should be arrested, deported and banned from re-entering Israel. These people are a threat to the security of the state.
36. I daresay you're right, Elly.
Cameron ,   USA   (03.14.09)
I can see it even now: "A tool for fate" or "Brained for Peace"
37. Tristan
J.K. ,   Brooklyn USA   (03.14.09)
Why is thisTristan and his isoldas helping palestinian terrorists, who want to destroy Israel ? Instead, they should be in the sudan where brown Muslims kill black Muslims, is it because those "do gooders"feel safer to fight Israel, than to fight a real oppressor in the sudan ? I don't wish this Tristan,a speedy recovery. A friend of my enemy,is my enemy. for a while tristan will be out of circulation.
38. What's with the fence?
david   (03.14.09)
The ISM guy would be delighted if Israel were to disappear. I don't want him the same, but I cannot care less for him being injured since he asked for it. There is one thing I don't understand: why is the fence not completed? Once it's built it will be much more difficult for the crazies to protest.
39. the fence is being built to keep pal suicide bombers out of
debra ,   usa   (03.14.09)
israel and it is proving to be very effective. how can any american protest this structure and the purpose it serves? do americans want suicide bombers allowed free rein in israel? the answer is: NO. this injured protestor should have realized israelis are more than justified in building this fence.
40. oh, well...
oded   (03.14.09)
he should mind his own f business! he should protest nobama's economical disaster policies instead!
41. Rewards
Thundercloud65 ,   Oklahoma   (03.14.09)
If you join a demonstration and throw rocks you shouldn't be surprised if you get injured. He basically got what he deserved. I mean if you fight with the bull don't be surprised if you get the horns. Which is one reason I don't understand the Israeli government's continual whining about the incarceration of Jonathan Pollard..he was a US citizen and was caught red handed handing out secrets to a foreign government. End of story.
42. anderson in palestine
pittman ,   ca, usa   (03.14.09)
I would agree with those that say no foriegners in Israel. So no U.S.tax money to Israel and as for all those Americans in the illegal settlements, perhaps they should return to Brooklyn or wherever they came from. ditto for the Russians and all those not born in Palestine. Perhaps Mr. Anderson wouldn't have been there if his tax dollars weren't funding the illegal settlements and the illegal occupation
43. GOOD, he came to israel to fight Jews
Moshe ,   Brooklyn   (03.14.09)
This Evil wicked person came to Israel all the way from America to fight the Jews.
44. 21...noone here is celebrating
truth   (03.14.09)
we simply understand where the fault lies: with him and his fatah terrorist brothern...i wish he were not such a fool and a trouble maker but i have no power to turn wishes into realities.

(03.14.09)
Not!!!
47. the ISMer deserves the worst
Sam ,   USA   (03.14.09)
48. USA man hit in Isreal
ronald palker ,   chicago, illinois   (03.14.09)
This is ridiculous! Why do you allow them into the country. Is this some form of Jewish liberalism Jewish universalism. What are you crazy Isrealis. Just nuts. Do not let them set foot on your soil. Poof problem evaporates. Just do not let them in! End of discussion Finito end
49. Why are these Terrorist sympathizers allowed in the country?
Sarit ,   Israel   (03.14.09)
Let the Terror sympathizing human shields think twice before entering a war zone..Tough nuggies : )
50. Knocked some sense into the poor man.
Ypip ,   Canada   (03.14.09)
51. Now he is getting treatment in Israel!!
Ilan ,   Tel-Aviv   (03.14.09)
"He was rushed to the Chaim Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer for medical treatment" What!!!! as if he is going to pay is own medical bills... they have hospitals in Ramallah.... who the hell authorized his extraction to Israel! Why should we waste our resources on this hostile alien?
52. Expel Foreign Protestors
Joseph ,   Ft Lauderdale, FL   (03.14.09)
Israel, where are you brains. Photograph ISM members, arrest them when they participate and arrest them when they enter Israeli controlled area. Charge them with a crime and bar these little bastards from reentry into the Israel. Its really that simple.
53. after an investigation of why
jerusalem   (03.14.09)
this place has been infamous of the protests, (un)surprisingly, the reason is that apparently the gov't of IL is seizing land for the building of their wall. my conclusions: may God bless them protesters.
54. To: Pittman at No. 42
Sarah ,   New York City, USA   (03.14.09)
Sorry .... I'm a little unclear on what you said. According to the Hague Second (1899) and Hague Third (1907) Conventions, Israel fought a defensive war in 1967, and is therefore allowed under all recognized international statutes to retain the territories it acquired as a result of winning said defensive wars. So, could you elaborate on WHY you think (incorrectly, by the way) that the settlements are illegal? Or that the so-called "occupation" is illegal? Under all recognized precepts of international law, Israel has every right to ANNEX the West Bank ..... what's your problem? It is so irritating when people just randomly mouth off without actually bothering to check the facts .....
55. #41 Thundercloud
Tahl ,   Ashdod, Israel   (03.14.09)
I'll explain to very you clearly, the issues we have about America's vengefulness toward Pollard. Pollard pleaded guilty, and signed plea-bargain with the prosecution of the United States. Under this plea-bargain, he should have been out after several years - only America VIOLATED this plea-bargain, for political reasons, and now wants to keep him there for life. This is while other, much worse criminals, are getting out after several years. Pollard's delivery of these documents, helped Israel's security a great deal, and did not endanger the US in any way (some pundits tried to prove this without any success). The US, if it pretends to care about Israel's security, should have given these documents to Israel anyway. Still, he took a chance doing something illegally, got caught, and paid his dues. Yes, he was guilty. But no, this does not warrant life in prison. Nor does it justify a crass violation of a plea-bargain, which itself is a clear violation of America's holy principle of Due Process by law. Additionally, have you any idea how much the US is spying on Israel? A few years ago, an American intelligence-gathering submarine was tracked by the Israeli coast guard, off the coast of Haifa. Upon detection, the submarine fled the area into international waters. Hardly anyone has heard of this incident. Imagine the ruckus that would have ensued, in the US goverment and media, had this been the other way around? And this example is just a drop in the sea. The US is the biggest spier in the whole world.
56. Why was he encouraging groups to throw stones???
JO   (03.14.09)
ISM has a lot to answer for. They are not encouragers of peaceful demonstrations but encourage youths to throw stones and endanger. Stones kill whether they say so or not, they create dangerous situations. Most of said demonstrations are with teenage boys. As opposed to war reporters who know the dangers of their job, they do not seem to care about others around them and indeed encourage violent demonstrations. In any law abiding country (including the US) his behaviour would seem reckless and dangerous. I hope the ISM have medical insurance and liability waviers as responsible people should. Tragic accidents like these occur in the West too.
57. ISM is a known racist organization
Joe Sittizen ,   Jerusalem   (03.14.09)
The ISM is a propaganda front funded and run by the PLO - it has nothing to do with "human rights" or any other "rights", other than the phony Palestinian "right to resist the occupation by any means". In other words, the ISM is a Pal front organization that looks for foreign dupes like this poor sucker or Rachel Corrie, and puts them in harms way on behalf of the Pals.
58. what idiot brings a 10 year old child to a stone throwing
(03.14.09)
