I was NOT at this event. But I WAS at an event at DePaul a few weeks earlier; Feb 25th, 5:30 pm at the Richardson Library. "Grassroots Peacemaking in a Time of War", by Dr. Yehuda Stolov, an Israeli Orthodox Jew. And Dr. Stolov's presentation was arranged by a Jewish professor in DePaul's religious studies department. Approximately 100 students, and 4 or 5 faculty attended. The response of the students and faculty was to listen with "rapt attention". And after an extremely civil and polite q and a, the students spontaneously gave Dr. Stolov...very enthusiastic and sustained applause. And another aside...in addition to the Jewish studies professor, other Chicagoans supporting the event were Jews, but also Protestants and a Catholic (myself). Hillel students were invited to assist in sponsoring Dr. Stolov's presentation, and declined. Does this sound anti-semitic and anti-free speech?
