NOT FOR A COUNTRY . HIZBOLLAH AL QAEDA & HAMAS & YOU feel otherwise though. Dont underestimate the Arbs though. Its entitled people like you appear to be that dont respect abnd prepare for the Arab and Muslim cultural and religious identity- which is no Jewish country amidst the Muslim sea of nations. period. I refer you to saeb erekats interview on al jezeerah in case you dont believe it.

The Jews worked to reclaim the land and actually made it bloom. It was desert before they gotr there. Maybe if you Muslims would work instead of crying "injustice" things would get better for you. Grow up get a job or start a business. but you can make it work for you. stop fixing the blame of arab/muslin incompatence on others.
65. The only alternative to two states is one democratic state.
Jacob ,   Cambridge, UK   (05.01.09)
Essentially, there are four possibilities for the land between the Jordan and the Sea: 1) Two governments, each voted for by its own people. This would lead to peace, but would require Israel to give up its settlements. 2) One government voted for by all its people, and an eventual Arab majority - this would bring peace, but mean the end of Israel as a Jewish state. 3) One government voted for by only some of its people - this is the status quo, and is apartheid - the prefered option of Nentanyahu and Likud. 4) One government voted for by all its people, and ethnic cleansing to ensure a Jewish majority - the prefered option of Lieberman and YB. 3) and 4) would be the end of Israel's attempts to claim to be a democracy. 2) would be the end of Israel as a Jewish state. The only way Israel can remain (or arguably I should say "become") both Jewish and democratic is to withdraw to the green line. Government of the Arabs, by the Jews and for the Jews, will not work.
66. I agree with Jacob #65
Avi-former Sruggie ,   Israel   (05.01.09)
Wholeheartedly. A brilliant comment!
67. two states
Carrie Baer ,   Sebring, FL   (05.05.09)
God did not say that His covenant between Israel and God would be in two parts. He was specific!! I am an American and cannot believe our government is so blind and ignorant to the word of God as are other nations filled with greed for power, jealousy and hate. God said He will protect HIS CHOSEN PEOPLE and their land, though I am not jewish except in my heart, I believe the word of our God. I pray always for the peace of Jerusalem. Be encouraged Israel!! You are the "apple" of God's eye. Never never give up or give in, God's "will" will be done and no nations, or peoples can undo God's "will" for HIS people. Thank You Israel for without you we true christians would not have known our true God. Carrie Baer
