As far as I know, Jesus Christ believers are Christians. If you're jew by birth and believe in Jesus, you're then a Christian, by faith. You cannot call as jew. That's it.

The messianic movement is a Christian religion. There are some in my synagogue who have now converted to Judaism. For many Christians, proclaiming themselves to be Jewish lends a legitimacy to their religion. If they can convert Jews to Christianity, it gives them a sense of validity and reinforces this type of Christianity. Most messianics have never been Jewish in any way.
