Sarah you seem to value Zionism and the state of Israel more than you do value the teachings of the Torah. In your case you might be excused for I never lost a son to violence. I am sure that this incident have affected your ability to reason.

In the 1400s, Marco, Joan of Arc heard voices. The Catholic Church made her a saint. Nowadays, she'd be given anti-psychotics and put in the hospital. Religions evolve. I love and accept the tenets of Jerusalem. But nowhere in the Pentateuch (the Torah) does it say that Israel must be brought about by divine intervention or Messianic deliverance. Judaism, my dear, is the Torah. Everything else is just commentary. Don't worry about my ability to reason, by the way. I can reason you under the table any day of the week, with no effort whatsoever. *Smile*

When you say that religions evolve, its a polite way of saying that you are not a believer. If you believe in God, then you must believe that his message is one and the same. Its not a message that is meant to evolve. If God wanted his message to evolve, he would have done it from the beginning. FACE IT SARAH, you are not a true Jew!

Marco, I scarcely think that you are qualified to judge whether I am Jewish or not. Religions do evolve, dear. Five hundred years ago, people accused by the Roman Catholic Church of heresy were burned at the stake. The Roman Catholic Church no longer does that. So if a Roman Catholic person were to say to you that religions evolve, and were to cite the example I provided, would you accuse that person of politely saying the he or she is not a believer? I don't think you would. I think you should accord me a similar courtesy. Moreover -- permit me to point out one small thing. Religions are comprised of two factors -- the spiritual, or what you believe, and the ritual, or what you practice. All Jews believe the same thing. Spiritually, Judaism is unified. The differences occur in ritual practice -- some Jews observe the Sabbath; others don't. Some Jews keep kosher; others don't. It doesn't make them "more" Jewish or "less" Jewish, it merely acknowledges that it is possible to have moved beyond a purely fundamentalist literal interpretation of the Commentaries and the Mishna. For the record -- I am VERY Jewish; I believe in G-d and I keep a kosher home. I also adhere to that part of Judaism that has always seen Eretz Israel as the eternal promised home of the Jewish people. There is nothing in the oral tradition or the written tradition that demands a Messianic delivery for me to reclaim what is rightfully mine. It's the Neturei Karta who are the lunatic fringe; if you think that they constitute "true Jews," then you are quite poorly informed.

""Hanyieh told his ultra-Orthodox guests that the Jews are not the enemies of the Arabs or Muslims. "Our problem is with the occupation, that stems from the Zionist ideology and its desire to disperse all the Palestinians.""" I am non Zionist (quite visibly) Orthodox Jew, and I live in the UK, I have been punched in the street, called Jewish b**stard, f**king Jew and verbally abused countless times by Muslim looking males who never stopped to ask me what my views on Zionism are, which leads me to believe that there may be some hatred of Jews mixed in somewhere. In addition I believe that if any other Arab nation would have treated that the Palestinians the same as Israel does, very few of those who currently claim to be sticking up for the Palestinians would care at all. All this has lead me to the conclusion that although I don't agree with everything the Israeli government does, I think the Neturei Karta are severely mistaken in blanketly supporting Israels enemies just because they oppose Zionism.

So, you'd rather wait for a Messianic redemption of the Jews and leave Jews to die in sordid ghettos throughout Europe and the Arab world. That's your choice. Most Jews would rather have a State of Israel. But if the Neturei Karta so despise the State of Israel because it was not brought about my Messianic redemption, why are they perfectly content to live there and have their enormous families and live off the largesse of the Israeli taxpayers .... when they themselves refuse to pay taxes to an entity whose legitimacy they do not recognize? I don't care what the Neturei Karta call themselves. I call them -- at best -- hypocritical thieves. At worst -- they are goyim. Afikorsim. They most definitely are not Jewish, and they should be thrown out of the State of Israel which they claim not to recognize and assert that they despise.

Sarah i have been reading your talkbacks for a while and chose not to reply out of respect to your situation. However, the conflict about palestine/israel seems to be a neverending ordeal due to a huge difference in the ideology/approach to the subject. Tell me one thing Sarah, how do you expect people who have been living in their land for around 2000 years, on a continuous basis, to accept the fact that the Torah promised their land to the jews? did you ever try putting yourself into their shoes? if someone comes with their bible knocking on your door and told you ' your home is built exactly on the land promised to me by my god, you have to leave immediately or i'll kick you out by force, kill you if necessary!' what would you do then? Jews and Palestinians can live together, if they can get over the difference in religion, however if you think about it properly, why would the palestinians accept living in a 'Jewish State', why? Your beliefs are different than christian beliefs, different than muslim beliefs, you wouldn't even approve of anything about chritianity/islam, so why do you assume that the world has to agree with what the Torah says? It could be good for you and the jews in general but nor for others. We have to think rationally about this delicate issue. The way you respond to anyone trying to defend the palestinians is very very offensive, and just shows that you have no concern about anything but yourself/your religion, this just contradicts what you were trying to explain to Marco.

1.) Don't know why you are shouting at me i f you look at my post, I actually wrote that I disagree with Neturai Karta. However as a Haredi Jew I would much rather let my kids mingle with theirs than with the children of secular/very modern Jews. 2.) The ones on the photo don't actually live in Israel and most NK people I know in Israel don't accept money from the government.
69. Neturei Karta Is Anti-Jewish

Nobody in their right mind has any doubt that this group of wayward Jews is satanic. I mean... give me a break. These clowns are deliberately wearing ultra-orthodox costumes to smear Israel and the Jewish people. We know for a fact that Satan always does the same thing. Remember: He dressed up like a snake once upon a time. These traitors are the modern snakes.
