Hosny who? Well, I didn`t even known that this "minister" was a candidate for the UNESCO position. But, if as a Jew I had such power to make him loose, then I am glad I did. Most of the comments here show how ignorant some people are. Farouk Hosny is very secular (he even attacked the headscarf last year) and the Islamist groups (especially the Islamic brotherhood group (Hamas mother group)) are very happy that he failed to get this position. The position doesn’t have this much influence anyway.

UNESCO's core mission is to "Encourage international peace and universal respect by promoting collaboration among nations." Hosny supported book burnings of Israeli publications!
