61. 60 - i'd thank the soldiers if it were my kid

if my arab kids were to do something stupid like that 11 year old boy and got arrested, i'd let them sit in jail for a while and think about their foolishness. if the soldiers scared them, i'd personally thank them for hopefully preventing the idiot from contemplating doing shtuyot again. when it comes to these things, i care more about my children's lives than their feelings. any normal parent would.
62. There's two ways to stop Hussam

1. Stay in the house all day 2. Leave the West Bank (this is what Israel wants) You're still saying the kid deserves what he gets, which only validates what I said above. Of course Hussam's parents can't thank the soldiers because they are quarrantined in their village. Maybe they should be thankful for that, too.
63. 62 - you don't get out much, do you?

i've been to checkpoints. you have to go out of your way to get to them. if you are saying that palestinians are incapable of refraining from doing stupid things, the facts may be on your side. we live in free israel. freedom to do whatever we want. but do i go taunt police officers or throw things at soldiers i see on the street? i'm free to do it, but i would also be an idiot for doing those things and would deserve to go to jail. if the boy wants to show himself an idiot and go out of his way and make trouble with soldiers, he'll receive an idiot's wages like anyone else in the world. in that sense, yes, he deserves it.
