Perhaps Israel could entertain this new Swedish proposal right after the Swedish government divides Stockholm with one-half being the capital of a new country for the indigenous and persecuted Sami people. The Sami in Sweden have their own Parliament. They would like their own country. I think the Swedes should divide their country in half, with one-half given to the Sami, who have wanted a sovereign state of their own for centuries, with Stockholm to be a shared capital. Yep. Works for me. This new Swedish EU head should teach by example using his own country rather than make unrealistic demands that have absolutely no basis in fact or international law upon a sovereign state whose political issues are no concern of his and of whose history he is so clearly ignorant. The Sami, after all, have a far better claim to an independent state than do the Palestinians. I think the Swedes should give it to them.
