Their real "Palestine Homeland"
2. well, of course not
oferdesade ,   israel   (12.30.09)
the main reason they have appropriated the term holocaust is so that nobody will realize that they are as much to blame for the Shoa as the germans. hitler - before poland - had no plan to exterminate the jews. if the palestinian arabs had not instigated the violence that led to the british shutting down palestine as a refuge for european jews, said jews would have had somewhere to go. but then again, the way things are going (with pius 12 being on his way to saitnhood) they will probably soon be taking PRIDE in the above.
3. the trouble is they think it's just jews Issue
ghostq   (12.30.09)

funding.
11. to #4 ww2 wasn't issu only for jews
ghostq   (12.30.09)
needless to say the Muslims had roll in the natzi army. just because you don't know about it and try to politicize the holocaust you basicaly doomed to repeat it.
12. #7 obviously you don't live in israel
(12.30.09)
13. to number 4 Nakba
Simon ,   Karmiel   (12.30.09)
yes, we do mark Naqba, this is when one million Jews were expelled under pain of death from their homes in Aden, Libya, and other arab countries, about the same time that certain unintelligent arabs ran from their homes in Israel. The clever Arabs in 48 stayed in their homes and are still there look at Haifa, Lod, Ramle Acre etc those that chose to stay are now Israelis. How many Jews had the option to stay in Aden or Libya? guess how many Jews live in Aden and Libya today? a big zero! My father is Adeni and my mother from Tripoli, they suffered a real Nakba, not the nonsense you speak of which is fantasy. Even the Mukhtar of Dir Yassin, yes read his story, he says that the lies and nonsense spread about Jews killing women and babies caused half of Haifa to run away! The Palestinian lies and propoganda in fact partly caused their so-called Nakba Look into history a little read about what happened in 48 if you don't trust the Israel sources that's fine but read the Palestinian literature, like the Dir Yassin story. I can read and write arabic it's all there for you in it's original form and it'll tell you what really happened in 48 and what your so called Nakba really was!
14. to #9 and other pro palis
ghostq   (12.30.09)
Nakba is a myth that was created against other Muslim leaders in the area and not based on fact or actuall evant, the so call Nakbe is a situation the Arabs initiated and not neciserly Israelis related. and yes 1948 war was Arab initiative.
15. to #8 it wasn't day and the British did it
ghostq   (12.30.09)
so what's your point, the British did alot of things even to jews, you realy want to go for facts, a fact is during 1948 the British Army suplied weapons to the Arabs. so stop whining on even that never happend.
16. #9 First we are not your friends:
Genuine Moshe   (12.30.09)
friends are not killing each others Second, there is no such thing as Nakba. For your recollection, Arabs chose in 1948 to leave our land so as to let the Arab armies slay us more efficiently.
17. 4 - israel was the best thing to happen to israeli arabs
mike ,   israel (formerly usa   (12.30.09)
there is no 'naqba' about it, only bitter politics played by the islamic nihilists. every sober-minded israeli arab will admit what happened was sad and regrettable, but the state is where they want to be.
18. When you start marking nakba day instead of issuing bills
JayZ ,   Jerusalem   (12.30.09)
against it, you can ask for arabs to observe the holocaust. Most arabs don't deny it, and feel bad for what happened, however they don't have to mark it. unlike jews who deny nakba and issue penalties and laws against marking a great catastrophe which is similar to the holocaust. By the way, Do orthodoxs and sephradim observe the holocaust, or do they say it widely open, its something related to ashkenazim?
19. to #18 you be surprise but the cheif Rabbi of Israel
ghostq   (12.30.09)
is a holocaust survivor and yes they do, also sphared jews, this isn't zionist issue, don't politicize genocide for your political gain. cause Islamic countries send the jews to death camps in Europ. the jews from Tunis and lybia were send I my self talked to Beirkenau Tunisian jew. really heart breaking and that jew is actually the establisher of a synagoug. so go educate your self.
20. I can recall the newspapers of the day
Jackie ,   Florida   (12.30.09)
And I was at the UN when partition was voted on. The Arab delegates shouted out that they would drive the Jews into the sea (horrified translators were kept busy as the Arabs went ballistic in speech that day). Later Arab leaders were quoted in newspapers urging people to leave so they could more easily move armies and drive out the Jews. And the Arabs had participated eargerly in the Holocaust under the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem.
21. #19 Don't deny that many jews don't mark holocaust day
JayZ ,   Jerusalem   (12.30.09)
since its something not related to them living in the east (merzrahim). and stop boasting lies into arabs sending jews to europe in order to be killed, if that was true, they could have done that in their own countries. If you believe you can advance us with real proofs of such incidents, we'll be glad that enlightened us with more information about that horrible incident, otherwise shut your mouth up.
22. to #13 &14
ziad alool ,   gaza   (12.30.09)
yes Nakba is a myth because the criminal always deney his crimes . Germany paid for the claimed holocost because they lost , while you did not because you are still winining and thats a fact nobody can deney , yes you are strong but only for th etime being , when the weel turns on you, believe me you will pay for every child , women , man whome you killed , for every house you demolished , just learn from history and probably you should learn from your previous knigdoms and their arrogancy ..... then what happened to them ????
23. #16
Jay ,   USA   (12.30.09)
Most modern day scholars of Israeli history, including the Israeli and Jewish ones, agree that of the (approximately) 650,000 Arabs who fled Israel during the 48 war, at least 1/2 were forced from their homes by Israeli military forces. Addtionally, those who left their homes but did NOT leave the country were allowed to remain in Israel but were not allowed to return to their homes. This isn't propoganda, it's just the truth.
24. Holocaust remembrance
Leonard Arseneau ,   canada   (12.30.09)
Should there not be a remembrance day for the hundreds of iinocents that were slaughtered in Gaza in 2008??
25. Why on earth should the Arab Sector
doreen ,   ta   (12.30.09)
have to remember the Holocaust?
26. :: Nakba deniers in the woodwork
Matty Groves ,   Fairport   (12.30.09)
Nakba deniers are *no* different from Holocaust deniers. Both try and belittle the events and claim that they are myths. "We adopt the system of aggressive defense; with every Arab attack we must respond with a decisive blow: the destruction of the place or the *expulsion* of the residents along with the seizure of the place." Ben-Gurion 1947. There should be a Nakba museum beside every Holocaust museum to counter this skewed mentality.
27. to #20 thank you, want to add a lil fact
ghostq   (12.30.09)
in the Bosnian SS there were SS devisions, yep Muslim soldiers in the Natzi army.
28. To JayZ 18
Simon ,   Karmiel   (12.30.09)
You need to open your eyes and ears! My uncles were in a Nazi work camp in Bengazi Libya you know nothing about the holocaust! It was not only Ashkenazim. It was against all Jews!
29. Shouldn't we be rethinking the Arab education system?
NJ ,   UK   (12.30.09)
The Arab education system in Israel covers more than just one social group, for example there are many Maronite Christians who are classed as Arab but consider their cultural heritage to be distinct from that of Arabs and thinking of themselves as part of Aramaic peoples (many of the older generation of Maronites living in Gush Chalev speak Aramaic conversationaly). Why can't we have a secular inclusive type of education where children can learn what they have in common before they learn what differences they have. Classes involving cultural heritage should form a small part of the curriculum depending on th background of the child and th rest should be standardised (quality of teaching included).
30. #28 Libya was occupied by fascist Italy which was germany's
JayZ ,   Jerusalem   (12.30.09)
best ally and aidee in the holocaust, so i won't deny that that could have happened in LIBYA, but not other arab countries, and certainly not by arabs!! Perhaps your eyes and ears should be open a bit wider than mine.
