There are also lots of strings attached like Israel must buy the buk of its weapons from the US and they have a veto over who Israel can sell domestically produced weapons to. How are Lockheed Martin & Boeing going to feel when they start loosing contracts worth billions and have to lay people off thanks to Obamas ego? Also no US government is going to try and place sanctions onto Israel. In November there are mid terms and the last thing the Democrats are going to do is let their man start putting sanctions on Israel and risking jewish votes.
