I have a problem with your way of reasoning for the following reason: In 1938, even before the creation of the jewish state, the arabs were offered over 80% of what is today Israel. All the Jews wanted was a little sliver on the west coast. The arabs refused. Remembering that the jews were promised the total land from the Jordan river to the mediterranean in the early 1900's, the jews finally declared independence when they saw the arabs would not agree to share it. In 1948 five arab countries asked the palestinian arabs to leave Israel and return after they wipe the jews off. Repeated wars against the new state resulted in an expansion of the jewish territories and the return of these territories in return for peace both with Egypt and Jordan. The "palestinian arabs" have repeatedly been offered Gaza and the WB, which both Egypt and Jordan refused to take back (shows how much they love the "palestinian arabs"), so they can create their own new state. This they refused and keep on refusing. Even when Barak and Olmert offered to share Jerusalem. They make no secret of their agenda to wipe off Israel and are not shy to declare this in their constitution. They teach their children to hate jews and call jews the sons of apes and pigs. This is done relentlessly through every medium they can use. They also glorify jew killers such as suicide bombers. Jordan held Jerusalem, which it won in the 1948 war, for a total of 19 years only!
