1. AIPAC Continues to Enslave the American People
Nour ,   Palestine   (03.27.10)
Sometimes I wonder why the great American people, full of creative achievers and doers, manage to be enslaved by the political whores in AIPAC. Could a patriotic American please explain to me why the American people continue to be silent in the face of Israehell? Why is it that you accept fighting Israel's dirty wars? Why do you send them weapons to steal more land and hold us Palestinian Arabs hostages under a brutal occupation? Some balanced answers - please?
2. Says it all
Christian ,   Sweden   (03.27.10)
This bipartisan majority support for Israel in Congress is a thorn in the flesh for every US Administration and certainly for the present. What Obama now tries to do is to break up this strong support for Israel in Congress and among ordinary Americans. With this end in view it is necessary to blacken the Israeli government and its policies as athreat to American lives and vital security interests. There is no reason why Israel should make it easier for Obama in this respect. Only stay calm and wait for the November elections.
3. HILLARY DOES NOT WANT TO SOLVE
LAWRENCE ,   SAFED ISRAEL   (03.27.10)
This U.S. manufactured crisis "quietly" ,she prefers to publicly berate and humiliate Prime Minister Netanyahu, who is a fool for tolerating her rudeness.Mrs. Clinton likes to play the "Dominatrix."
4. Excellent AIPAC Lobbying..WoW
Dr. Honey ,   Gaza   (03.27.10)
amazing. If the Israelis ever gain my respect , it would be because of their astonishing influence over the American policymakers as well as the common man.
5. To the arab (No. 1)
Frank ,   USA   (03.27.10)
The reason Americans support Israel is because they recognize it is entirely in the right, and has been victimized by arabs since its birth. The so-called "palestinians" are a recent invention - created by the surrounding arab states as a political and terrorist weapon against the Jewish State of Israel. Rather than repatriate the Jordanians and Egyptions, those and other arab countries continued to keep them segregated, which was aided and abetted by the anti-Israel U.N. Meanwhile the so-called "palestinians" became a poison in every country they lived in - remember "Black September", and Lebanon (whom you wrecked). After raising three generations of terrorists, you actually believe you have a claim to land? Worse, you actually believe you are a "people". You have made yourselves unfit to coexist in a civilized world.
6. Israel made her bed so she..
hakim ,   Plaestine   (03.27.10)
must now lay in it...What goes up must come down!
7. Nour
Serge ,   Antwerp, Belgium   (03.27.10)
Your questions are not balanced, don't expect to get decent answers.
8. WHY EMPLOY QUIET DIPLOMACY
LAWRENCE ,   SAFED ISRAEL   (03.27.10)
And charm, when one can humiliate and abuse a good friend and ally???
9. to Nour
Jerseyguy ,   USA   (03.27.10)
Nour, my heart goes out to the Palestinian people. As an American citizen, I am proud to say that we provide 80M$ per year to the PA as well as self-defense aid to Israel. Sad to say, the PA aid often does not get to citizens like you, just look at how and where Suha Arafat lives, for example. Israel, however flawed, is the only democracy in the ME. Your fellow Muslims in Israel have better lives inside Israel than in any Muslim country. Jordan keeps stripping its Pal. citizens of their citizenship. While Israel makes its share of mistakes which it will have to correct sooner or later, Palestinians have to take responsibility for building their own society. After Isr. withdrew from Gaza, they could have used the copious US and EU money and started to build schools, roads, etc. instead of accepting weapons from Iran and killing Israeli civilians.
10. to number 1 nour
al   (03.27.10)
I think the american people are very naive and underdevoleped. the most intelligent people in america are the people from the middle east. america is a yonug nation like israhel and like a baby with no experience in live. that is why both societies act in the same way. what these countries need is to listen to countries like iran ,with lot of experience , which can show them the way to adulthood and humanity.
11. simple math
Eldad ,   Israel   (03.27.10)
"manage to be enslaved by the political whores in AIPAC. " + "to be silent in the face of Israehell? "+ + "Some balanced answers - please?" = WTF?? You are giving an unbalanced question and you expect some balanced answers?? have you ever heard of CAIR?? what do yo think they are doing in the US? Israel's and US relationships are based on mutual respect and interests for the last 100 years, it's Israel who's doing the US wishes and not the other way around.
12. to #1; You benefit from these weapons more than Israel does
(03.27.10)
If the IDF was as strong and sophisticated as let's say the Lebanese army, the Palestinians would suffer a hundred times more and no one could complain. If you want an example, take a look at the Lebanese army job in the Palestinian refugee camps. They simply fire heavy artillery and destroy the entire place and no one can criticize them because they have no other weapons. The fact the IDF is strong and advanced like western armies give it the capabilities to inflict less damage while being under the same western standards.
13. These Congressmen are very loyal to their true employers.

15. USA admin should reflect the people
john ,   sydney, Australia   (03.27.10)
Congress reflect most american people. US administration has always been hostile to Israel - arms embargo until late 60's, Forcing Israel, UK and France to leave sinai/suez, forcing Israel to allow PLO terrorists to come from Tunisia to take over Ramalla and kill Israelis and much more. If it was not for US admin Israel would be in a much stronger position today
16. US OUT OF ISRAEL
Jeremy Henson ,   Sydney, Australia   (03.27.10)
US admin have already caused the downfall of 3 Israeli Prime ministers. US should stop meddling in who Israelis elect. This is just another attempt by US admin to remove the Israelis people choice for their choice. If ISrael Lobby had power the UN would stop picking on Israel. Most of UN work is criticising one little country.
17. not much of a choice
Steve, Santa Monica ,   USA   (03.27.10)
The answer is quite simple. For all it's transgressions Israel is still light years ahead of your "society". Your people indulge in bloodthirsty acts and then turn around and shrug in feigned innocence. The vulgarities you teach your young ensure a continued dysfunctional society for the coming generations. You surely are eternal victims, not of Israel but of your own treachery.
18. ARE THE US GOVERNMENT IN TROUBBLE ???.
Arn. ,   SWEDEN.   (03.27.10)
ISRAEL Jerusalem The Hinge Pin Rev Heather Butler Revivalist/Psalmist Hidden Treasures Ministries Intl Jerusalem is the Hinge Pin, and belongs to the Lord, Israel does not belong to another! woe to those who divide Jerusalem , who cry out for division. 19. House members to Clinton: Resolve crisis with Israel
bobharis30 ,   Belgium   (03.27.10)
I am not surprised .... this only show that the Jewish Lobby rule the USA and these congress men and women are only serving the interest of the Zionists. There loyalty is not to the American people but the Jewish Lobby. I don't believe in peace and the certainly in the role of the Americans as an unbiased mediator. I believe the Iranian should be a nuclear power as a deterrence against the aggressive zionist threat for all the countries in the region. Demolishing arab homes , building settlements which are all illegal under international law ... Israel and it government should be as accountable as Sadam was, just as accountable as the Serbs were, just as accountable as charles Taylor is ...
20. Obama's policies in the middle east
Felix ,   Jlem , ISRAEL   (03.27.10)
Obama's prejudicious and blatant anti-Israeli policies and the offending and insulting reception he gave twice to our democratically elected leader Mr Nethanyahu - come only to conceal his impotent policies toward Iran and as a matter of fact his total lack of willingness to do the inevitable bombardment of its nuclear facilities regardless of all the blablabla .If I would be Mr Nethanyayu I would declare the postponement of any further steps or actions intended to solve the palestinian problem until after the Iranian problem is completely solved to our complete satisfaction !
21. Horse Out, Barn Door Shut
Ilene ,   USA   (03.27.10)
AIPAC has failed when they have to splash their lobbying all over the pages of the JPost. "Disagreements" are being made public so that Israel is forced to stop cheating on their agreements with no fear of that cheating being made public.
22. #5 Nour has a name
Yossef ,   Rehovot, Israel   (03.27.10)
Nour has a name, he is not just "an arab" as you write with such a disdain. Even if I don't agree the most often with Nour, he deserves my respect, and yours too. So, please be decent. Where have you been educated?
23. Obama's interest is not to resolve crisis; it is rather to
Shira ,   Chicago, IL USA   (03.27.10)
intensity it. Obama's hope is to "repair" the US's relationships with the Muslim and Arab world at the Jews' expense, and the higher the tension is the better from Obama's perspective. No one is perfect, obviously, not even the President of the United States of America in viewing reality from a skewed perspective, especially when the person is Barake Hussein Obama, long-time follower of Rev. Wright and long-time friend of Min. Farakhan.
24. #1 Pal
Goliath ,   Palestinian   (03.27.10)
On March 31, 1977 in the Dutch newspaper Trouw, in an interview with PLO executive committee member, Zahir Muhsein said: “The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, ‘Palestinians’, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct ‘Palestinian people’ to oppose Zionism.”
25. #4 Gaza land of Honey
Center-right ,   Germany   (03.27.10)
Don't brainwash. The Arab oil is ruling the world. The problem that palis don't have it. Otherwise they would start mass production of Molotov cocktail.
26. to # Nour
Rudolph ,   Collombey CH   (03.27.10)
It is easy to understand... Israel is Harry Truman's child
27. Obama Speech
Annie ,   Boston, MA   (03.27.10)
Wasn't it Obama who stated only one and a half year ago that Jerusalem will always be Israel's capital and it should NEVER be divided. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=91150432 Could it be that he LIED?????
28. Israel is in violation of over 250 UN res.
lydia ,   Brisbane   (03.27.10)
1.Israel is not a democracy it doesn't even have a constitution. 2.Israel never withdrew from Gaza today's incursion is further proof 3,The IMF says the Arafat funds are all accounted for now where is PA tax $$$ that Israel withholds 4.The Palestinians built school, roads etc. but Israel keep bombing them up. them
29. 9.Obama is not the problem Israel intransigence is
lydia ,   Brisbane   (03.27.10)
Hezbollah chased Israel out of most of occupied Lebanon despite the US brand spanking new armory provided courtesy of the US taxpayers. Your soldier is still held captive. Yet you feel 'quick strikes' can deter battle hardened warriors who sees Israels illegal status as their 'cause celebre'. Battle hardened fighters prepared to wage wars for centuries. While Israel resort to shooting innocent civilians, like fish in a barrel, from helicopter gunships.
30. to Nour from #1
joe ,   U.S   (03.27.10)
Because for good reasons we trust them better than we trust you.
