I believe G-d brought back enough Jewish people to re-establish the Nation of Israel. G-d wants all Jews who live in Israel to keep the land he promised, all of it! The proof is- each time Israel fights those who want to destroy it and take the land, no matter the odds, Israel wins. When Israel gives up any land that G-d promised, it has a difficult time having a clear victory. The people in Israel should not be willing to give up any land for any reason. If they continue to give up land they will only get more war not peace, and they may begin to lose some of the fights. If they give up nothing and in fact want to eventually include all the land that G-d promised as part of modern Israel, then there may be a great fight, but when it is over, Israel will be the victor and there will be peace. However, even if Israel continues to give up land in the hope of peace, and maybe even part of Jerusalem (G-d forbid), G-d will not allow Israel to be destroyed, even if angels have to join in the fight.
