1. Stop making excuses to kill Jews, just bring it on bitch!
Yaniv ,   Israel   (04.17.10)
2. War?
Steven ,   L.A USA   (04.17.10)
War with Jordan is the best thing that could happen. Israel can then take the East Bank and give the Palestinians what was formally the artificial so called "kingdom" of Jordan. That is the true and just solution of the Israel Palestinian conflict.
3. Yes, this is the year for the war of Psalms 83 since the
Rivkah   (04.17.10)
nations of Iran, Syria and Jordan are listed in their ancient names there as confederate in a plot against Israel, to cut off Israel from being a nation. In December 2009, these nations signed a war pact with Hizbollah and Hamas against Israel. The ancient names listed in Psalms 83 are Edom (Jordan), and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Hagarenes, Gebal and Ammon (Jordan), and Amalek, the Philistines (Palestinians) and Tyre (Lebanon). Yes, war is coming the Y'hovah/Yeshua and the Ruach Hakodesh will defend Israel. All the princes of Jordan will perish. That is the burden of Edom mentioned elsewhere in the Bible. ALL the princes of Edom will perish. Sounds like a political overthrow of the government and purging like what happened in Iran with the Shah and the ruling elite. Better to back off and make peace with Israel and find a place for the Palestinians to go in other Muslim lands, but out of Israel to diffuse the conflict and preserve peace in the world.
4. Abdullahs time has passed! he must step down and give

palestine is in ,   jordan   (04.17.10)
forget he stole their land!
8. He has a lot of Chutzpah to order Israel around
The Dude   (04.17.10)
Especially considering that it was IAF jets that scared away Syrian tank columns barreling towards Amman. If Bibi had any sense, he would remind the Monarch, that he is King today because of this and only because of this and should know his place.
9. Why make idle deadlines....
Ariel ,   Modi'in, Israel   (04.17.10)
just bring it on and bring it on now!! Another Arab regurgitating Obummer's rhetoric. Obummer, despite his profession of having learn't from history, never learn't a thing from Chamberlain's appeasement. Obummer will not succeed in appeasing the Arabs either or is he simply playing along with his brethren??
10. Afraid of war? of course he is.
Joey Rose ,   Portland   (04.17.10)
He'll be flooded with hundreds of thousands of new refugees.
11. 85% of the citizens of jordan are actually palestinians.

numbered.   (04.17.10)
13. What has Iran Atom Bomb got to do with Israel Pal Politics
Alan ,   SA   (04.17.10)
Abdullah is talking absolute nonsense. On the contrary Israel is needed as a bulwark against Iran. Iran needs an Atomic Umbrella so it can do its evil work thru out the Middle East and even further afield. Its time for the Pals to take over Jordan and make that the Palestinian homeland. .
14. An Iranian response would open a Pandora's Box
Peter ,   Vienna-Austria   (04.17.10)
Gee, I wonder when israel would be stupid enough to give that special key to the iranian regime and later on realize what a grave mistake it committed. So far every decent leader around the globe is giving warnings to the jewish state that this is not going to be a joy ride(like the ones you've had before). But please,be my guest and just do it. Funny though: Most people here in YNET who advocate war on iran are people who live outside of israel.
15. funny king!
OZ   (04.17.10)
for somone whose only exsitence depends 100% on israel ,he's got a big loud ,and smart mouth.... if israel walks away from jordan it will be overun by syria and the"palestinians' and will be part of greater -syria overnight. to show your relevancy ,king ,sh ut the f*** up!

Marcel ,   Florida   (04.17.10)
Muslims are warmongers and always threaten when they don't get their way !
17. Considering
Christopher ,   Boston, MASS   (04.17.10)
That the Palestinians - in all their disguises including the PA - still officially refer to Israel as a "criminal entity" and the call for its destruction still embedded in the PA Charter, the Jordanian king - who owes his life and his family's to Israel's Mossad - his comments and bitching are disingenuous at best
18. To 14 Thats funny because most people advocating a....
The Dude   (04.17.10)
Palestinian state are also from outside the region and won't have to live next to it. Or with the consequences of an imposed peace deal. What hypocrisy! And you're telling us that these wars before were joy rides? In 1948 Israel lost over 1% of it's population! For a country of 600,000 at that time, it's a truly staggering loss. In 56' we lost over a 1000 soldiers for a jaunt with Egypt. In 67' we overcame massive odds, and this plan was extraordinarily risky, to the point that Yitzhak Rabin at that time regularly had to be sedated to sleep. The war of attrition was costly fiscally and militarily. The 73' war was declared as the collapse of the 3rd temple, the 82' war was a long attrition based conflict that didn't end for decades, the intifadas was essentially a war of terrorism to directly assault the civilian population of Israel and make it uninhabitable and to live a normal life. The 2nd Lebanon war was costly in deterence and the Gaza war was costly in regard to International image. Israeli's know the cost of war, you do not. We also know the cost of not of going war. And in case with Iran, it is true that this war would have enormous costs... but the cost of a nuclear armed Iran cannot even calculated. We are not going to be fed to the Iranian crocodile so that the European appeaser can delay the inevitable day when Iran will threaten them with nukes as well. Oh wait, you did realize the reason why Iran is building missiles that go way over the range to reach Israel, isn't just for show. And here's another point for European at the Southern edge. If Iran puts it's missiles on it's Turkish border, it can reach Athens. Think about it.
19. Man plans G-d laughs
Leah ,   Israel   (04.17.10)
Last Wednesday the ASA the advertising standards association in England told Israel to take off our most holiest site the Western Wall off of our adverticements as the Kotel is according to them not in Israel. Within hours all flight in Britain and now in Europe have been grounded because of the Icelandic volcano spruting volcanic ash into the air. The Old City of Jerusalem has been Israels capital city for over 3500 years. It is said that Hashem (G-ds) presence never leaves the wall and this is not a coincidence that the hatred towards Israel by Britian and Europe had brought on G-ds wrath. So if the little king in Jordan wants to start on us, or Obama or anyone else think twice!
20. abdul like his dad
alexi   (04.17.10)
Abdullah's doom and gloom noise is exactly like his dad who sided with saddam but ran to israel for help against syria. He is all noise. Obama thinks he alone will determine israel's borders. He is wrong.Israel precedes this sudanese arab african american by thousands of years. Landau and or feiglin will force the isssue of jordan as part of palestine mandate to be considered as part of settlement. There is alot of land there that rightfully belongs to israel. It has to be considered. That is what abdullah is afraid of. And if there is war, so be it. And if if every israeli will be killed, he willl know how to take everyone and I mean everyone else down.
21. Badly written article - what exactly does he want by July
rebecca ,   Modiin   (04.17.10)
That there should be a Palestinian state, that Israel and the PA should be talking, or that the PA and Hamas and Hezbollah should be talking? From this article it could be any. Yet the only vaguely possible option is that Israel and the PA are talking, and for that Jordan should put pressure on the PA. They are the ones not willing to talk. Our doors are open.
22. What is interesting is that all we hear
Allan ,   Ft. Lauderdale   (04.17.10)
from the Arabs and the US is what Israel needs to give up in order to advance peace negotiations. Not a word about what the Arabs and Palestinians will bring to the table. As it stands and as horrible as it sounds a war may not be the worst thing for Israel. Yes, blood will be shed and property destroyed but in the end Israel will prevail as it always does. A perfect opportunity to reshape the middle east and be rid of the radical Islamic element. This time as the victor, Israel, will dictate peace terms and not the other way around as we've seen for the last 40 years.
23. WHAT KIND OF AN IDIOT IS THIS ???.
Arn. ,   SWEDEN.   (04.17.10)
If the Palestinian problem is solved, there will be no need (for) nuclear weapons. If the Palestinian issue is resolved, then why would a country like Iran, which wants a nuclear program under the slogan of the Palestinians and Jerusalem, need nuclear weapons? (It will take Iran a few more years to develop nuclear weapons), and for this not to happen, the peace process between Israel and the Palestinians must be advanced," he said. SO THE IRANIAN ATTEMT TO GET NUCES IS RULED BY THE PALESTINIAN PROBLEM ??? IF IRAN NUCES ISRAEL THE PALESTINIANS WILL ALSO BE NUCED. WHAT KIND OF AN IDIOTIC STATEMENT FROM THIS JERK. Arn.
24. Jordan is an apartheid state
Steve ,   Atlanta USA   (04.17.10)
Why does a Hasemite king rule over a population that is 75% Palestinian on land that is a part of historic Palestine? Because the British decreed it? Looks like aparteid.
25. King Abdullah
M.Fishman ,   Annapolis, MD USA   (04.17.10)
He speaks big time. I agree with many of the comments made by your readers. Jordan is for the Palestinians. Forget the 2-state solution. There is enough hate from the Pales. to last for many generations. How do you expect them to get along with the Israelis. I have met many honorable Pales. and they are caught between a rock and a hard place.
26. Bring it on
ares ,   valhala   (04.17.10)
boyo!
27. Unfortunately, the king of Jordan has forgotten
Vardina   (04.17.10)
one major fact: Iran, Hamas and Hizbollah are not looking for concessions. They have declared very clearly that they do not want peace with Israel but the elimination of Israel. Comprehension, your Majesty, comprehension.
28. The Emperor has no clothes.
(04.17.10)
29. abdullah fears for his tuches, since hamas can take over
uli ,   kirayt ono   (04.17.10)
nobody mentions it, but the jordan king postpones democratic elections since november in a country with around 60% support for hamas (last PEW survey). If he does not 1) portray himself as anti-israel 2) pressure on fast solution, he and his family can be kicked out or killed quite soon.
30. OMG! I can’t believe what I am reading. Massive delusion (1)
Harry Wright ,   UK   (04.17.10)
Has Abdullah forgotten that two wars were recently fought while the "peace process was being advanced"? Engaging in peace talks therefore, will NOT stop another war from breaking out. Unlike Abdullah, we don't need sources in Lebanon to tell us that war is inevitable. Iran is getting the means to control the ME and quite frankly only Israel may have the balls to do anything about it, and not by an Israeli / Pals peace, which is just the excuse. Iran has reached too far for that to make any difference, so this confusion of the mind is just a source of laughter. The "moderate" nations are just waiting now for the appointed to time swear allegiance to their new King of Kings and EVERYONE will say, "I told you so." Israel is to "integrate" in the area? Does he mean, like become Arabs? Because Arabs don’t integrate! Ask the EU. If America's national interest is affected, then let it cut off the head of the snake in Iran and that will solve all the spin-off problems and the excuses that are lamely put forward. No funding of terrorism=no terrorism. The "moderate" Arab nations have their role to play too, but they REFUSE to do so, including Abdullah. "If the Palestinian problem is solved, there will be no need (for) nuclear weapons." You don’t say!!! I am still deciding whether to laugh or cry. He should admit that Iran INTENDS to wield power over him and all the ME countries and an Israel / Pals peace will make no difference. "A military strike" will cause havoc to all - and so will nuclear weapons, in the hands of Iran, and these "moderate" Arab nations let it happen right under their noses and NEVER lifted a finger to stop it. Let that remain on their conscience because they should have paid a lighter price earlier in the game. The Saudis definitely had the means to take a leading role and do something about it and would have had the backing of the US.
