Anyone who refuses to serve should have their citizenship revoked and be expelled to the Palestinian territories. Those who do serve should be protected from discrimination by US style civil rights laws. Diaspora Jews are expected to be loyal to their home countries and to shoulder the same citizenship burdens as their neighbors. There is no reason why Israel shouldn't expect the same from its religious minorities.

i respect the both holocaust survivors and nakba Refugees. It's sad to see how egocentric the people writing on this talkbacks are. Suffering is never comparable, and if you want our arab neighbours to recognize the suffering of the jewish people, the least you can do is to have an ear for their aspirations.
