61. LIGHTEN UP PEOPLE ! IT WAS FUNNY !
Yisrael ,   Jerusalem, ISRAEL   (04.27.10)
And I don't like Obama, Jones, Emanuel, and all the other anti-Israel clowns in DC, but this WAS funny !
62. It was a great joke!
noa ,   israel   (04.27.10)
It showed us in a good light. Businessman, not prejudiced, working together, smart, what is so bad about that?
63. #48 is not too serious.
sohnes ,   ludwigsburg, germany   (04.27.10)
It indeed depends on the context, which is the famous "rift" or "row". Now, telling any such jokes in this situation appears to me to be a dumb idea. (no matter, if he meant it or not) Even if this wasn't the badest joke I've ever heard, it sheds the very light on the Administration, they try to avoid now so desperately.
64. The joke's on you
Robert ,   Brisbane, Australia   (04.27.10)
After all the public insults made here against Obama we now have those who made those insults demanding that he apologise for something he hasn't done. Is hypocrisy a national trait in Israel?
65. I Support Jones. Joke was Funny
M. Duvduvani ,   Yokneam, Israel   (04.27.10)
I've heard that joke a million times told by other Jews! That joke was in no way anti-semitic. Quite the opposite in fact and it was funny. This is a case of hypersensitivity. If you're reading this Jones, you didn't say anything offensive at all.
66. :: A quick 1 min Google shows that...
Matty Groves ,   Fairport   (04.27.10)
... this joke appeared in the June 2002 Edition of the Jewish Magazine (jewishmag.com). What is funnier than the joke itself is the fact that some people find it 'offensive' even after it has been published as a harmless joke in Jewish publications.
67. Anyone even remotely interested in the Obama's administratio
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (04.27.10)
handling the Arab Israeli conflict and what motivates the President. This is a must, must read and please, share it with as many people as possible. Thank you. http://www.bethtfiloh.com/ftpimages/230/download/wohlberg041710.pdf
68. Old, old joke
AKUS ,   Washington, DC.   (04.27.10)
I probably first heard that joke 20 or 30 years ago. It is ridiculous to make a fuss about it.
69. the joke was first posted on a Jewish site
Larry ,   Los Angeles   (04.27.10)
see: http://www.jewishmag.com/40mag/humor/humor.htm from the February 2001 Edition Jewish Magazine so if a Jewish site carries it, why is it anti Semitic?
70. Jones' joke
ragged soul   (04.27.10)
What's the issue? I think it is simply that Jews were the subject of humour that you're whining about. Funny how hypocritical you all are; I have read some seriously derogatory comments made by Jews about Muslims; but that's ok, right?
71. #70 ragged soul
David ,   USA, exile   (04.27.10)
Your name says it all, and that's no joke.
72. #66 matty
David ,   USA, exile   (04.27.10)
He genius, It is not what was said as much as who said it and the forum in which it was spoken. He was speaking as the National Security Advisor. It is my personal business if I tell a joke about my family, but if you do it you better continue to hide behind your funny little musical name.
73. funny
jacky Punch ,   united States   (04.29.10)
Jones a devout catholic, a lot like the famous richard williamson, who fell out of favor with opus dei and the Pope apologizes. Now what's so bad about that. The question is what is this all about. He was compelled to tell the joke. Something inside him forced him to tell this to perfect strangers who were Jews and the moron just had to get it out. And now he is a little afraid that it might just get him pushed out altogether or out of the center limelight. This bum, an anti-semite from start to finish should be stripped of his medals and drummed out of the CORP just as in a CHARLIE CHAPLIN movie.
